If you were really the owner of the property, you wouldn't need to pay rent to the government.

I understand perfectly that Mr. TeaHead cannot recall what he said. Mr. TeaHead posted a definition of socialism. He included the 3rd definition which is the definition of socialism according to Marxist theory. My point was that the definition of socialism according to Marxist theory is totally bogus. And if Mr. TeaHead does not agree, then that means he really does believe, at least in part, that Marxism has some credibility.

--Louis Brandeis Supreme Court Justice / 1941
"The two greatest obstacles to democracy in the United States are, first, the widespread delusion among the poor that we have a democracy, and second, the chronic terror among the rich, lest we get it."
--Edward Dowling
LMAO!!! When did this nation become a democracy? You and I both know we are a Constitutional Republic.
I find it amusing to hear people refer to the US as being a democracy, and I also find it amusing to hear people refer to US citizens as American citizens.

You need to check the 14th amendment, if I didn't own the property then due process would not be required.
Yep, local, state and federal could discover the property that I sit on.

democracy 1. government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.

And my point to socialism is that you lose the ability to hold personal property, this is contrary to the 14th amendment.

Due process is required to evict you if you don't pay your rent to the government. Due process is also required to evict a tenant from an apartment.

No, due process is used if I don't pay my personal property taxes, and yes due process is used if the tenants on my personal property do not pay their rent, but it hasn't ever gone that far.

That was your point? Is that a joke?

"nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law"

Now where does Mr. TeaHead see "the right to hold property shall not be infringed" in the 14th Amendment? If you don't pay your rent to the state, you'll get your due process before they kick you off their land. Hee hee.

Just as I said, you get evicted after due process if you don't pay your rent to the government, same with your tenants, they get evicted after due process if they don't pay their rent.

if you really owned your land you wouldn't need to pay rent to the government.

Yup, it's about RIGHTS WHICH ARE GRANTED BY THE government.
