If the past 100 years of warming is not a trend, then the poor birther doesn't know what the definition of trend is.<quoted text>
What I'm saying is I would rather have it warming then cooling, if it is doing anything it's not doing naturally. No one knows conclusively that there is a trend or that man has anything to do with it. The "science" is not settled and only a liar would say it is. Oh wait, the president just said that the other day. Like I said, only a liar!!
Incidentally it is thoroughly well established that CO2 produced by human activity has a significant effect on global temperatures. The science is quite settled about that. an exact quantitative number is not settled but the statement as recited above is true, and unlike Alice in Wonderland, simply saying it is not so doesn't make it so.
Incidentally whether a birfoon would prefer warming to cooling is an utterly asinine statement that presumes a false choice. Maybe you would prefer to die by boiling rather than freezing. I would prefer to go on living comfortably.
My original comment:
It's either true or false.
Do you still think it's a good idea to turn on the heat in the peak of summer because it's a good idea to turn on the heat in the dead of winter?
You do recall ranting about how wonderful warming was after the ice age, so why isn't it good now?
