Look at Table F.6 "Distribution of Gross Domestic Product on page 12 of the Federal Reserve Statistical Release of December 9, 2013. On the first line "Gross Domestic Product" it will show at the end of the 3rd Quarter for 2013 it shows GDP at 16890.8 Billion.
Is The Federal Reserve it good source for the GDP for you??????

But to get from 2012's GDP to 3rd Qtr 2013 GDP of $16.9 that would indicate that then GDP rate would have been an annual rate of 4.0% and we know that is not true.
