What percentage is the defence budget? Methinks it's more than 17%.

Yah know, Obama just thinks he was slick when he changed the date for the EmpoyER mandate sign-in to start AFTER next years election because anyone with half-a-brain knows it is a blatant political move. Look at me, most people did knot no I was being slick when I was because I don't make it look slick.
And another thing. Slicky Obama does not realize that it is the individual state laws which make insurance companies give 90 DAYS notice when changing, or cancelling, policies and that means, AGAIN, OCTOBER 1, 2014 these people will get their noticed but now they will have to wait six weeks before they can sign up?!? I mean, how stupid can Slicky Obama get?!?
This year we had a little over five million INDIVIDUAL policies, which affected over ten million people, were cancelled but next October it will be 50-75 MILLION policies which will be cancelled affecting 100-150 MILLION people. Hey Slicky Obama, WTF were you thinking???
Obama give 'Slick' a bad name!!!
<quoted text>
I have been saying all that along but I really don't Hillary will be in the White House in 2017!
Just wait until next year this time and Obama maybe lucky if he is not tarred, feathered and run out of town on a rail.
Slick Willie did not acquire his nickname because of successful policy.

He was Slick Willie because he was a brilliant public speaker. He could tell people nearly anything, and given the proper vocal inflection... it sounded like bonus Christmas presents.

When he was finished speaking he would look you directly in the eyes and give you one of those "...and we're gonna get away with it too!" looks.

Like you were part of an inside joke...

Presentation-wise my second favorite president behind Dubbya Bush. Who was as enigmatic as someone who is supposed to be in charge could get.

This week on Moyers & Company, author and scholar Henry Giroux explains how our political system has turned people into zombies –“people who are basically so caught up with surviving that they become like the walking dead — they lose their sense of agency, they lose their homes, they lose their jobs.”
Also on the broadcast, Bill looks at Birth of the Living Dead, a mesmerizing new documentary that examines the singular time in which the classic 1968 film Night of the Living Dead was shot – when civil unrest and violence gave the nation nightmares and zombies were a metaphor for a troubled and distressed American public.

He's probably a socialist from Kenya, huh?
Ryan never wrote a bio stating that he was born in another country published for 17 years and I am sure that the state of where he was born will have no problem giving him a legitimate copy of his birth certificate.
Obama knew people would lose their insurance despite his blatant lie BEFORE it was illegally passed!

According to Rogue, there has not been one single true conservative Republican president in all of the 20th and 21st president. How very frustrating for him;

According to you , there has not been one good president in the last 50 years or so. How very frustrating for you.

I just cannot be that cynical, that categorical, sorry. Yes, they had plenty of warts but to find excruciating fault with pretty much every one of them and not find one single positive achievement...just imagine if in Washington's, Jefferson's, Lincoln's, Teddy's presidencies, they had been stuck with the same kind of lightning communications ,internet, and paparazzi kind of media we have now...wow, even JFK would not have lasted 6 months, and Jefferson, about 1 month.

I didn't say there weren't average/decent presidents.

I said there hasn't been a GREAT president since JFK.

When was the last time America did anything great? JFK sent us to the moon. Put American people on another celestial body. Inspired a generation who contributed heavily to our modern technology we all take for granted.

What have we done since that doesn't involve setting cities on fire?

Obama wants to go to Mars... 15 years after he is out of office to be funded and green lighted by some other guy someday.

How about re-allocating Medicaid funds and diverting tax revenue from medical practitioners, this along with cutting government waste could cover those that need help. When I think of health care reform,I think about the money that could be saved by cutting government waste and bureaucracy. The fastest way to cut the rise in health care costs is to change the rules for law suits. Instead of most of the dollars going to lawyers, the penalty dollars should go directly back to health care. When citizens of the United States think about health care reform, they think about reducing the cost of health care not increasing it.
Frank im honestly curious:Where did you Teabaggers EVER get the idea that you speak for the American People?
And let us not forget that the Republican Corporate toadies YOU and your idiot Tri Cornered Hat pals keep sending to Washington over and over have championed nothing for decades but best interests of the Insurance Industry and Pharmaceutical business Bottom Line.

First a correction : I wrote "every 20th and 21st president". I of course meant every 20th and 21st century".

Okay, I , like you, idolized JFK. But , he was only president for less than 3 years. On the negative side, he initiated the Vietnam tragedy. You never mention that. Yes, he may or may not have escalated. But the fact is, he started it and had Diem assassinated, which did not improve the situation. He started the peace corps, but let's not forget Sergeant Shriver who did the actual work. As to space and the moon landing, yes, he invoked it and then died. LBJ was the force behind it. JFK pushed civil rights, who can forget it? But it was Eisenhower who sent in the national guards and desegregated that Little Rock school. It was him who had the civil rights act passed into law.

And, as I wrote, JFK, with all his sexual trysts, would not have lasted long in today's crazy and nutty media world.

I repeat, oh, how I admired the man, still do, and I don't give a hoot about his womanizing - but others do. I do believe I mostly admired him for his style, grace, wit, intelligence, good looks, elegant wife, but mostly FOR WHAT MIGHT'VE BEEN. Clinton, corporate hack that he was, achieved more,(imagine if GWB had built on those surpluses instead of cutting taxes for the rich and starting two unfunded wars) and same with Obama who, despite his Wall street donations and his corporate welfare to the street, never misses an opportunity to criticize and lambast it. If obamacare can carefully be improved, that alone will be quite a legacy. So will the accord with Iran - if it works.

And lest we forget Jimmy Carter's Israel-Egypt-Lebanon Camp David accords, a game-changer which to this day still holds. And his honesty, integrity, absolutely unmatched. Not all is bad in this nasty world of ours.

Hummm, they mention that one victim was from a JEWISH neighborhood, another had an Hispanic last name and a third was Vietnamese. What do all three have in common? They are not ...... BLACK. And what ABC will also not tell you all the suspects are ...... BLACK!!!

'Knockout Game' Suspect Charged With Hate Crime
ABC News By LIZ FIELDS and GILLIAN MOHNEY November 24, 2013

The Brooklyn, N.Y., man accused of assaulting an Orthodox Jew in what appears to be another case of the knockout game is being charged with a hate crime for the alleged attack.

Amrit Marajh, 28, was charged with harassment as a hate crime after he allegedly punched the 24-year-old Orthodox Jewish man Friday morning.
.....
In September, Ralph Santiago, 46, of Hoboken, N.J., died from injuries resulting from a suspected knockout attack that sent him careering backward into a fence, where his head got lodged. Three teens -- two 13-year-olds and a 14-year-old -- have been charged with murder.
....
And earlier in May, Elex Murphy, now 20, was sentenced to life in prison plus 25 years in St. Louis for killing a Vietnamese immigrant as part the game in 2011.

Ah, La Jacqueau, Presidents do not have anything passed!!! It was legislature that was pushed by JKF and LBJ just signed it into law. LBJ was a RACIST!!!
Oh, if JFK was alive today, he would be a REPUBLICAN!!!
Now, I do not believe that because I do not profess to know what dead people would do as La Jacqueau continues to claim he DOES KNOW. But on many issues, JFK WAS a CONSERVATIVE!!!!
JFK was a fiscal conservative, anti-Communist, PRO-Life, etc.

Ten years ago when Texas enacted their medical tort reform law, almost overnight, medical bills dropped 10% and the doctor shortage disappeared.

Again, medical bills dropped about 10% just as soon as Texas passed their medical tort reform law ten years ago ...... and their doctor shortage disappeared.
