<quoted text>The unions love the minimum wage because then they have negotiation power. I would agree to a minimum wage if that was the wage that the union leadership was paid. Do you realize that since the minimum wage has gone up from $2.90 an hour to $7.25 the cost of be a resident of the United States has gone up more than $4.35 an hour. When the minimum wage was $2.90 and hour an average person had a phone bill of less than $20, a utility bill of less than $25 and an electricity bill of less than $40 which included over the air television if they didn't have a $25 cable bill. Those bills combined today are several hundred dollars a month.

<quoted text>Like the United States, the government of all those countries spend/waste too much money. If the political leaders of the United States were really concerned about people having a 'livable wage' they would stop wasting tax dollars and reduce the taxes on every one. When federal income taxes were started a hundred years ago the average worker paid little or no taxes and the richest people paid 7%. The taxes went up temporarily for WWI and WWII but never fell back down to low levels as promised by government with the exception of some reductions in the mid 1920's.
Repeatedly repeating : You have no idea what you are talking about. Not a clue. Ignorance-wise, you may have beaten LRS, though we'll never be sure.

How about this: on January 20, the date that Obama became President, the Labor Participation Rate was 65.7% but today it is way down to 62.8% and do you know what that means? It means that 2.9% more people, between the age of 16 and 70, are no longer employed!!! And that is the lowest number in 35 years when the President was .... Jimmy F-ing Carter!
But how many people is 2.9%? Well, there are about 202 million Americans between the age of 16 and 70 and out of that 586 thousand gave up looking for work!!!
Way to go Obummer Boy. Keep it up and you may make Jimmy Carter a happy man!!!

And how many are between 60 and 70? You do know that the boomer generation is aging. That's Obama's fault?

Is Rouge working? Nope. That's Obama's fault.

Anxiously awaiting strike three.
I supplied a link Jacque, with testimony from his own family that he lobbied the rest of them to vote for Obama. If you do a google search on whether Zimmerman voted for Obama, there are multiple sources that report he was. I suppose they all could be lying along with his own family about it, since I don't know him I am accepting that as truth.

As for the evil thing, that is what Charles Krauthammer says, and it is how most democrats treat anyone republican. Republicans get about as much respect from democrats as Al-queda does. It doesn't matter to me if you accept that or not as a fact. There is enough evidence to substantiate that on MSNBC and CNN and Bill Maher's show.

Take it from someone who has been building computers since they were 14. Attacking a website is a lot of fun. Attacking a govt website is a whole different monster.
They have the resources and will care enough to find you.
The above wasn't an attempt to discourage anybody from doing whatever they please. I am just trying to state very clearly that attacking say... The Westboro Baptist for the sake of mischief or espionage is one thing.
Attacking the most high profile govt website ever as soon as they attempted repairs is going to get you some pretty immediate attention if you lack the proper skill set.
Consider it a public service announcement.
I would certainly never want to limit your freedoms though.
How about you run a little experiment for us? Or do you just like to judge?
I'm sure you read "From Chips to Systems" many moons ago. Great book. I first learned 6502 assembly language in the '80s and do C# programming as a hobby, when I have time (sometimes TCP/IP programming).

<quoted text>When my parents were born, there was not minimum wage. The first minimum wage of 25 cents wasn't until 1938, it took twenty three years until 1961 before the minimum wage rose to over a dollar. Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Cyprus have no minimum wage laws. The wages are set by unions and in Germany the minimum wages are set by job description and by geographic region. The is no statutory German minimum wage. As of January 2013, the minimum wage in Germany is basically 7.50. Until very recently the German government never considered a minimum wage and the guest workers or foreign nationals that did a large percentage of the 'minimum wage' work were paid far less than their German counterparts. Since the United States has federal minimum wage and most states have state minimum wage, unions should be abolished.
Yea, and you know what also happened in 1938? It was the double-dip of the Great Depression. People should be paid for what their work is worth which fluctuates because of supply and demand. When you over pay people, all you do is strangle the economy and people lose jobs!!!

http://www.dol.gov/dol/topic/wages/minimumwag...

The Federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour, and they have no place deciding what the value of an employees production is worth. That is something that should be left to the business owner. Since there is a minimum wage law though, let me tell you how I use it to my advantage. I pay my lowest level employee $15 per hour. If they decide to become a problem to me, I instruct my payroll company to change their rate of pay to $7.25 per hour instead of firing them and paying the unemployment benefits. Knowing they can not survive at $7.25 they quit, and I am not obligated to pay their unemployment. Pretty cool, huh?

Senator Trumbull ALSO said:
"By the terms of the Constitution he must have been a citizen of the United States for nine years before he could take a seat here, and seven years before he could take a seat in the other House ; and, in order to be President of the United States, a person must be a native-born citizen. It is the common law of this country, and of all countries, and it was unnecessary to incorporate it in the Constitution, that a person is a citizen of the country in which he is born…. I read from Paschal's Annotated Consitutuion, note 274: "All persons born in the allegiance of the king are natural born subjects, and all persons born in the allegiance of the United States are natural born citizens. Birth and allegiance go together." Such is the rule of the common law, and it is the common law of this country as well as of England. There are two exceptions, and only two, to the universality of its application. The children of ambassadors are, in theory, born in the allegiance of the powers the ambassadors represent, and slaves, in legal contemplation, are property, and not persons." Sen. Trumbull, Cong. Globe. 1st Session, 42nd Congress, pt. 1, pg. 575 (1872)
And Bingham said:
“Who does not know that every person born within the limits of the Republic is, in the language of the Constitution, a natural-born citizen.” Rep. Bingham, The congressional globe, Volume 61, Part 2. pg. 2212 (1869)”

I'm not sure, but I just purchased an original Sioux Indian Peace Pipe circa 1880's that was given to President Eisenhower as a gift. It is a magnificent artifact, and looks beautiful in our home. I consider myself very lucky to have such an important piece of western american history. I may even have to fire it up someday.

Why did Bill Clinton suddenly leave Oxford in March 1968? He would have graduated come June but he left in March, why? Oh, he said it was to attend Yale Law School but that did not start until September and if the Mayflower could cross the Atlantic in 66 days in 1620, certainly Bil could have waited to graduate Oxford in June and still make his plane to fly him to Yale in September?
Or was it because a 19 y/o British girl accused Bill Clinton of ..... RAPE?!? Oh, the British police did investigate and it might have been a case of date-rape but they did not have enough evidence go go ahead with a prosecution. But that does not mean Bill did not rape her, did it?
But because a woman accuses GZ of pointing a shotgun at her, it must be true?!?
So, what you are saying is that women are not reliable witnesses?

I don't know Rouge. Sounds right up his alley to me. Save that he was charged I know nothing about the incident.

However, I know enough about assholes like GZ to know this is par for the coarse. I will tell you I am pretty damn certain this happened.

He posts most of the flags. His wife who left him the night before he killed T.M. was all about telling people who he really is. A control freak with psychological issues. She also said that he had gotten worse from the trial, it made him feel he was above law.

Not surprising, a few months later he is pulling the same crap on another woman with seemingly increased vigor.
