You are more of a "Joke from Ottawa" then a Jacque, who mistakenly believes that his obsessive compulsive addiction to spending time on topix is educating and enlightening folks. What a contribution to humanity you are Joke. A living legend in your own unbalanced mind. Is that uncivil enough for you? Pathetic!
So, Madonna says Obama is Muslim, this is Gospel truth? Good for you.

The http://downtrend.com/robertgehl/407-sourced-e ... is the kind of crap you base your beliefs on?

I've read most of what robertgehl qualifies as lies. Of the 407, maybe 10 can be so termed, but only if one is opiniated - like you. Like Guantanamo. Your lying website neglects to mention that it is the Repub Congress that refuses to close Guantanamo. But you think everyone swallows ultra right wing propaganda like you. We don't.

The majority of the 407 are things he's done that you don't like or agree with. Not lies. The rest are nothing but promises, pledges, electioneering, which every politician does. They don't come true, they are NOT lies. I refer you to my 2 parables a few minutes ago. Did you get them, Obskeptic? Noticed the correct spelling? I know the difference between correctly spelling a name, unlike you, who accused me of doing something you'd been doing for weeks now. Comment on that one, please?

You asked for civility, yet show none. When sandbaggged, dumbfounded, you resort to ad hominem, the refuge of the birther. You deliberately misspell my name, then accuse me of omitting "s" in yours, too dense to even realise I did that on purpose.

But McAuliffe still did not win a mandate.
Two weeks ago the polls were ABOUT 50% for McAuliffe, 40% of Cuccinelli and 10% for Sarvis the Libertarian. McAuliffe won with 47.9%, Cuccinelli with 45.5% and Salvis with just 6.6%. At the end, the Democrats did not turn out that heavy while a third of the Libertarians switched to Cuccinelli.
By the way, almost all Libertarians are TEA Partiers as the TEA Party is about a conservative fiscal policy.
And that is why Hillary and Obama turned out to campaign for McAulliffe as they knew he was in trouble.
Mandate: the authority to carry out a policy or course of action, regarded as given by the electorate to a candidate or party that is victorious in an election.

Exactly how did he fall short of a mandate?

Ah, insulting me, or trying to insult me, doesn't work, so you resort to insulting all of Canada, all Canadians. Very smart, very intelligent. Need I say more?

Do I say you're a dumb American? No. I limit myself to saying you're dumb. Get it? NOT.

Yes, there is an Indian casino nearby, only 100 miles away. It's the nearest Indian casino. In Akwasane, Northern NY state.

Anything else?

Did you notice that Ron Paul campaigned for Cuccinelli and encouraged Libertarians to vote for him. The Libertarian candidate's poll numbers have slipped slightly and it looks like Cuccinelli has been the beneficiary.
As the Fairfax County polling stations are reporting a very light turn out so far. Fairfax is the Democrat stronghold in Virginia and if the Dems don't turn out, Cuccinelli will win!
<quoted text>
Several points here. First the Wash. Post is a Liberal rag and report their slant. Next they said the turn out in northern Virginia is "steady" (as compared to "heavy").
This race is still in the air and we will not find out for at least a few more hours.
So, how did Cuccinelli do in that election?

It was wise of you to not be man enough to accept the wager.

Really? He won. More people voted for him than the other clowns. That is a mandate - noun, the authority to carry out a policy or course of action, regarded as given by the electorate to a candidate or party that is victorious in an election.

synonyms: authority, approval, acceptance, ratification, endorsement, sanction, authorization

And? In the end, more people voted for McAuliffe. Your pathetic excuse for a candidate lost...again. End of story.

Cuccinelli sought to rally his base with conservative counterparts. Tea party celebrities Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Ted Cruz were among those who came to Virginia for him. How'd that work out?

From the Tribune News Network - hardly a liberal rag, by the way.

"Some establishment Republicans are looking at Virginia and saying,'We need to do everything we can to make sure this does not happen again,'" said Quentin Kidd, a professor of political science at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va.

Virginia, one of just a handful of swing states, looms large in part because it served as a tryout for both parties' expected 2014 themes. Republicans had worked hard to leverage public concerns about Obamacare into a symbolic victory. Democrats countered that voters were more concerned by the tea party tactics that led to the recent federal government shutdown than by glitches in the healthcare law.

Still, many of the voters who came out to community centers to cast their ballots for Democrat McAuliffe said their decision was driven less by support for him than by opposition to Cuccinelli, a climate skeptic, unrelenting opponent of abortion rights and crusader against Obamacare.

"I was more excited to vote against Cuccinelli than for McAuliffe," said Lauren Durden, a 41-year-old homemaker. "Cuccinelli is way too socially conservative. He is an extremist."

Fahmida Hossain, 33, also a homemaker, said she was troubled by Cuccinelli’s focus on gutting Obamacare. "If that is your main agenda, and your point for going to office, you shouldn’t be in office," she said.

Establishment Republicans say the Virginia race demonstrates that the party is failing to field candidates who appeal to the state’s new electorate. And as more of the country undergoes the kind of population shifts Herndon is experiencing, they warn, the GOP brand will suffer more broadly."

In the end, McAuliffe will have two Democrat Senators on his side in that state. He will help carry Virginia for that party in 2016.

Your party is in its death throes.

The result was almost identical to the percentages when Obama beat Mitt. Doesn't look like a giant shift to me.

All Libertarians are TeaBaggers? That will come as shocking news to millions of Libertarians

Jacques,
There is no need or requirement to be dumbfounded.
Any name calling or poking of fun done by me is all in jest.

I still say Senator Durbin is a hack.
Rahm Emanual is a hack and a huckster too.
Richard Daley, he's a hack and a half.

Did you know that Richy Daley had to take the bar exam 5 times before he passed?
You are alloted 5 attempts and he used them all.

And, oh, the coincidence, the humanity! Obama's lies just happen to be 154, same number as the 15+ wells. Ha ha, this is too much.
And you have an office? An office, please stop it, it's early morning, I can't take it, guffawing is NOT for 06H45 AM.

LMAO! It's obvious you haven't a clue about this subject. LMAO! You do know they use a drill bit to make the "little hole" in the ground, right? Now, see if you can follow - we sold approx. 400 wells and currently have approx. 150. And, we continue to drill. Did I lose you? Ever correlated logs, done any subsurface mapping, ever drawn up a deal and promoted it out, can you correctly represent a fault on a map? Duh, huh? Idiot! LMAO! DAB! Like I've told you from day one, I have absolutely NO PROBLEM backing up what I've said. Now, you on the other hand are just FOS.
