Okay, let's see if I can answer a few of the above. Numbered they will be :
1. 2. 40 million? Whose fault, at least partly? Union membership down. So many firms (Boeing, Lockeed-Martin, Ford, Chrysler, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes, GM etc) moving SOUTH to Alabama, Georgia, other southern states where there are none of those pesky unions - lower wages, almost half what they pay in the north - therefore , yes, more people on food stamps. Working people on food stamps. Great.
3.
Ah, Hyundai, Kia, Honda, Nisan, BMW, etc. moved South from the North? Which country?
Oh, Boeing did not move jobs. They created new jobs! The new plant in South Carolina was built to make LARGE composite fuselages that they could not make at their plant in Washington.
Have you ever seen a fiberglass boat being made with aluminum?

4. Yes, millions fraudulent payments. Sadly. Oh, you know, many of them are legitimate, many also fraudulent. But tell me, tell everyone what the cost of welfare fraud amounts to as compared to Corporate welfare. I don't know the answer to that, but am willing to bet that the latter costs to the taxpayer are much higher than the former. And, Rogue will say that Corporations create jobs. Yes, they do. When they don't move them offshore. But welfare recipients create millions of job too. They buy stuff, consume, no?

Some republicans actually do stand on principle over party Jacque, and would never in a million years vote to force taxpayers or Christians to pay for the killing of an innocent, unborn human life, or to advance socialism that gives the state so much power to interfere with the lives and liberty of a free people. There are exceptions to that in the republican party I admit, but they are more like democrats from the fifties then the radicals today who never fail to put party over the will of the people. Even democrat Bart Stupak had to be lied to and bought off to get this terd of a piece of legislation that very few read and understood before passing. Interesting that as the roll out continues to unravel, that just weeks after the republicans tried to get the individual mandate extended, like the corporate side was granted, we see red state democrat senators up for re-election calling for what the republicans were accused of being unreasonable for trying to negotiate. One of them even said the president needed to man up. Pretty outrageous by your standards. Also, I remember the president being the one who stated that he refuses to negotiate. No hypocrisy there now, is there.

Oh yeah? That is a plus, means some democrats, in this case, 34, have a mind of their own, contrary to the 100% all republican congressmen and senators who voted unanimously against. WTG, talk about principles.
You do know that politicians are suppose to vote how the majority of their constituents want them vote? If they don't, they could be voted out of office.

For someone with 20,000 posts, you sure don't know how to quote properly.

Let's extend your logic. If people were unhappy with Barack Obama they wouldn't have given him a mandate by re-electing him.

2004-11-05 04:00:00 PDT Washington --
President Bush proclaimed his election as evidence that Americans embrace his plans to reform Social Security, simplify the tax code, curb lawsuits and fight the war on terror, pledging Thursday to work in a bipartisan manner with "everyone who shares our goals."

Bush staked his claim to a broad mandate and announced his top priorities at a post-election news conference, saying his 3.5 million vote victory had won him political capital that he would spend enacting his conservative agenda.

"I earned capital in this campaign, political capital, and now I intend to spend it," Bush told reporters. "It is my style."

As he had done in his victory speech Wednesday, Bush spoke of building a bipartisan consensus and reaching out to the 48 percent of Americans who voted against him. Yet he made plain that he had no intention of moderating his agenda to reach that goal.

"When you win, there is ... a feeling that the people have spoken and embraced your point of view," Bush said. "And that's what I intend to tell Congress, that I made it clear what I intend to do as the president; now let's work."

----------

Bush gets re-elected and Republicants claim he can do as he wants because the people have spoken.

How soon they forget.

You'd think. But I don't agree. They were elected to do what's most beneficial for their people, which , may I remind you, is not always what said people believe. As a matter of fact, Chauncey just told you that in Obama's case, the people must've liked what they go in the 1st term. They re-elected him.

Did President Obama bomb Syria yet?
Did the National Guard disperse all of those truckers who rallied to support the GOP shutdown?
LOL!

Hyundai used to have a plant near Montreal. Kia, Mercedes moved south (read : no unions) to lower costs. North was not an option. Honda, Nissan, both have plants in North USA and Canada, but they did move some of their operations south. Big Three all over the south. Airbus is opening a A-320 production line this year in Alabama, no pesky unions like they have in France and Germany, no sirreeee, right to work at low wages is what it's called.

Why don't you compare Boeing wages in Seattle vs South Carolina? I don't know the results, but am not afraid to ask - should be interesting.

Oh, and at the Big Three in Detroit and environs, new employees are coming in at a lower hourly rate with also lower benefits. Unions had to accept or the plant moved south, hence more food stamps.

COPPER COATED MICROCHIP IMPLANT ALLOWS TERRORISTS TO SPEAK TO GOD

The implant is specifically designed to be injected in the forehead.

When properly installed, it will instantly allow the terrorist to speak to God.

The exact size of the implant will be selected by a well-trained and highly skilled technician, who will also make the injection.

No Anesthetic is required.

The implant is likely to be painless. Side effects, like headaches, nausea, aches or pains are extremely temporary.

Some bleeding or swelling may occur at the injection site. In most cases, you won't even notice it.

It comes in various sizes: Generally from .223 to .50 cal.
