But no arrests reported from yesterdays Vet. Protest!

POLITICS: EIGHT MEMBERS OF CONGRESS ARRESTED DURING D.C. IMMIGRATION RALLY: Oct. 8, 2013

Eight members of Congress were arrested during a Tuesday immigration rally on Washington, D.C.’s National Mall.

Several House Democrats sat in the middle of Independence Avenue and blocked rush hour traffic, according to the Star Tribune.

The representatives, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), Rep. John Lewis (D-GA), Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-NY), Rep. Al Green (D-TX), Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), Rep. Jan Schawkowsky (D-IL) and Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY), were then arrested by U.S. Capitol Police, spokeswoman Kimberly Schneider confirmed to TheBlaze.

The congressmen were charged with “crowding, obstructing, and incommoding” under D.C. Code 22-1307 and will be processed by the U.S. Capitol Police at 67 K Street, SW.

Now Jacqueau, I know where I got this joke from and when I know who to give credit to something, I do. And I do not take credit for things I didn't do. And everyone on this forum know it too!!!

Hey, did you hear about when G.W. went to New Orleans to check out the disaster relief for Hurricane Katrina? Well he was down in the old French Quarter and he was getting a little hungry and he saw this woman put out
an "Open" sign in front of this French restaurant so across the street he went with his entourage.
He went in and was immediately seated and the waitress asked him what he wanted and G.W. said, "Ah, could
you bring me a coffee and a quickie, please"? And the waitress turned white saying, "How dare you and I thought
you would be nicer than Clinton". With that she started to cry and she ran back into the kitchen.
A Secret Service Agent walk over to Pres. Bush and said, "Excuse me Mr. President but I think it is pronounce
'quiche'"!

Now Liberals seem to think that the joke is about G.W. not being able to pronounce some words correctly
whereas most Conservatives think the joke is really about Bill Clinton's loose zipper.

I think I read this joke in Readers Digest some ten twelve years ago so I do not claim credit and do not know who
should get the credit

It is rumoured that active military voted Obama in the last election. Vets, I don't know, but I'd wager quite a few voted Obama what with the sorry state some vets had been left in, particularly those with psychological problems upon returning home - a silent illness, really, who cares? They can still walk and eat by themselves, no? Our vets returning from Afghanistan have the same problem. They come back in a body bag - heroes, the gov't can't praise them enough. And it's cheap. They come back. The gov't can't abandon them fast enough. That's expensive if we follow through and treat them like the heroes they are supposed to be. CONservative gov'ts do that. They do it a lot.

I'm just repeating scuttlebutt I've heard, though I have no proof. You did, however (when will you learn?) write,(see it just above), that "I think Obama has lost almost all of the military/Vet. voters. And military know how Democrats feel about them." I stated my opinion, not a fact. You, on the other hand, STATED the foregoing. Waiting for proof/confirmation that the majority of active military and vets are against Obama. Shall I put you on hold as Iwait for response? How long? Will you answer with a personal anecdote on how , when you were 17 and driving the wrong way on a one-way street...well, that doesn't work anymore, never did.

Since when does deplorable behaviour make for arrests? If so, the entire gang of Republicans, save a few in the House, would be arrested for terrorism and kidnapping of the Constitution, the laws and its citizens.

What is more remarkable, though, and unbelievable, is your assertion that "Did I claim to be the author? No!!!" Wow.

Yes, you did underhandedly claim to be the author by posting it and not naming the author. THAT, Rogue, is plagiarism.

So, according to you, I can publish a whole story by, let's say, Hemingway, and by not identifying the author or myself, it's not plagiarism? Yeah, we know.

You and I both know the whole system is corrupt and both Republicans and Democrats like it that way.

Fox News and MSNBC are both corporate hack talking air heads loyal to these two corrupt parties.

Most Republicans are conservative in name only. RINOS

Most Democrats are liberal in name only. LINOS

Obamacare is not a liberal health plan which would have provided Single Payer, Medicare For All.

Obamacare is more accurately Romneycare which was endorsed by Bob Dole and the Heritage Foundation back in the 1990s.

Obama/Clinton, Bush/Cheney John Kerry, John McCain, et cetera are all corporate hacks loyal to Wall Street.

Bush Has Highest Disapproval Rating in History of Gallup Poll
Meanwhile, President Bush has set a new record. He now has the highest disapproval rating of any president in the seventy-year history of the Gallup Poll. In the most recent USA TODAY/Gallup Poll, 69 percent of Americans disapproved of Bush’s job performance. The previous record was held by Harry Truman, who had a 67 percent disapproval rate in 1952. Bush also holds the record for having the highest approval rating of any president in Gallup’s history. In September 2001, in the days after the 9/11 attacks, Bush’s approval spiked to 90 percent.
