Hey Scruff, why don't you quit spreading lies?
The thing about being brilliant is that you don't have to lie.

Here is a publicly issued challenge for you Mr. Justice.

Prove anything I have said is a lie. Show people you don't just open your mouth and allow anything at all to roll out.

In all of my time here, I have yet to see you prove anything at all. So, I will define it for you.

Prove: demonstrate the truth or existence of (something) by evidence.

Unverified assertions are the biggest guns you possess. And I am willing to bet you can't up your arsenal for even one measly post.

And you have a clear advantage here, as I have zero clue what you think I am lying about.

So, here is your challenge Justice. If you can manage to PROVE I have lied about anything I will not only apologize... I will bestow my 2016 presidential election ballot to you. You will dictate who I vote for. It is supposedly our most precious freedom and I am willing to part with it... if you can manage to back up your words just once.

Challenge issued, advantage is yours...

OR... you can back down as you do every time you are outsmarted, outclassed and outdone.

You know, pretend it is all a ruse I fell for... another one of your esoteric traps.

So, I am excited to hear from you. I expect a healthy debate with a worthy opponent. Don't disappoint us.

Unless...
You were being dishonest when you accused me of lying...right?

I don't expect you will take my challenge even though you have the advantage, nothing at all to lose and an opportunity to put me in my place.

That is the other thing about being brilliant. You can pretty much see what is coming next.

Good luck.

And remember....EVIDENCE!

Typical that Rogue would rush to the defence of Tobacco barons, they who KNEW that nicotine, tar, and other cancerous junk in their product were lethal, yet they even had phoney doctors advertise the goodness and purity of smoking their "coffin nails". So much of their own evidence destroyed, it's on record, how they misled the public, specially our youth. They have now developed the "smokeless" cigarette, death to all still, smokers and contact smokers alike, no change, but they are stealthy, like Rogue's favourite and unseen airplane killers. Two provinces are suing the tobacco killers here now, billions of $. Hope they win. Rogue is a serf, he serves his palatial masters, lives under their walls, gives them ransom crops and defends them against all "enemies".
You have it exactly right as usual.

Rogue and the rightwingers are trained to believe someday they Too will also become Millionaires and Billionaires like Limbaugh, Fox News Anchors and the Koch Brothers.

There is no such thing as healthy tar and healthy nicotine.

Same as Clean Coal, No Such Thing.

Yet the Coal industry spends millions trying to sell that concept.

And the oil companies spend much more trying to deny climate change.

As you already know.

So your saying that this president, who has spent the equivalent of over 6 months worth of 40 hour work weeks on the golf course since being elected, and has added over $7 trillion in debt onto the backs of our children's future and refuses to even sit down and negotiate is demonstrating real leadership? And you defend that? I do hope it wasn't one of your children arriving at Dover AFB that he has denied death benefits. I'm just saying.

New York - Russia invades Georgia and President Bush goes on vacation. Our president has spent one-third of his entire two terms in office either at Camp David, Maryland, or at Crawford, Texas, on vacation.
His time away from the Oval Office included the month leading up to 9/11, when there were signs Osama bin Laden was planning to attack America, and the time Hurricane Katrina destroyed the city of New Orleans.
Sen. John McCain takes weekends off and limits his campaign events to one a day. He made an exception for the religious forum on Saturday at Saddleback Church in Southern California. http://www.truthout.org/article/is-mccain-ano...

The Out-of-Towner
While Bush vacationed, 9/11 warnings went unheard.
April 14, 2004 / http://tinyurl.com/jwrvq
In an otherwise dry day of hearings before the 9/11 commission, one brief bit of dialogue set off a sudden flash of clarity on the basic question of how our government let disaster happen.
The revelation came this morning, when CIA Director George Tenet was on the stand. Timothy Roemer, a former Democratic congressman, asked him when he first found out about the report from the FBI's Minnesota field office that Zacarias Moussaoui, an Islamic jihadist, had been taking lessons on how to fly a 747. Tenet replied that he was briefed about the case on Aug. 23 or 24, 2001.
Roemer then asked Tenet if he mentioned Moussaoui to President Bush at one of their frequent morning briefings. Tenet replied, "I was not in briefings at this time." Bush, he noted, "was on vacation." He added that he didn't see the president at all in August 2001. During the entire month, Bush was at his ranch in Texas. "You never talked with him?" Roemer asked. "No," Tenet replied. By the way, for much of August, Tenet too was, as he put it, "on leave." / http://www.slate.com/id/2098861/

Vacationing Bush Poised to Set a Record
With Long Sojourn at Ranch, President on His Way to Surpassing Reagan's Total
WACO, Tex., Aug. 2, 2005 -- President Bush is getting the kind of break most Americans can only dream of -- nearly five weeks away from the office, loaded with vacation time. http://tinyurl.com/9cjj7
The president departed Tuesday for his longest stretch yet away from the White House, arriving at his Crawford ranch in the evening for a stretch of clearing brush, visiting with family and friends, and tending to some outside-the-Beltway politics. By historical standards, it is the longest presidential retreat in at least 36 years.
The August getaway is Bush's 49th trip to his cherished ranch since taking office and the 319th day that Bush has spent, entirely or partially, in Crawford -- nearly 20 percent of his presidency to date, according to Mark Knoller, a CBS Radio reporter known for keeping better records of the president's travel than the White House itself. Weekends and holidays at Camp David or at his parents' compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, bump up the proportion of Bush's time away from Washington even further.

These fools can't grasp "Born in Hawaii". Asking them to comprehend "yes that WAS the deal but then we decided to take a stand instead" is way beyond their capacity.
And that is the real issue I have with the entire thing.

If you decide to "take a stand" and then publicly announce it is the other parties fault... two things happen.

1. You have to lie to your electorate.

This seriously diminishes your credibility for obvious reasons. In addition, it gives the democrats a huge advantage come campaign time as they have a list of names and video evidence of MANY republicans lying to our faces. As well as all necessary evidence to prove the republicans KNEW they were lying.

2. It completely defeats the purpose of "taking a stand" in the first place.

If you are going to draw a line in the sand, then act as if your opponent is the guy with the stick... It is no longer a bold action taken to fight for what you think is right. It displays cowardice and a lack of control.

They should have just been honest and taken the "bold action for the sake of America's well being." route. At least they could maintain credibility and some form of dignity.

But you may be right. They may be so used to blaming Obama for everything, that it was a knee jerk reaction. One that killed their "stand" before anyone even knew it was taken.

Regardless, it was something that they could have made work for them. Now they just look inept. Mind numbing stupidity.

It is hard to believe, but you may be correct.

That would be a great little experiment. To sit outside of a Sam's Club or something and interview people while hooked up to a polygraph. Asking them questions about obvious political lies to see how many just mouthpiece anything they see on TV, and how many are truly dumb enough to buy it. Mix in a few true ones at the end for controls...

Sounds like fun.

Regardless, Justice getting duped again doesn't make me a liar.

No, I didn't say or even imply that. What I'm saying is that words mean things. So when I person says he is "transparent" and makes certain claims, it is only natural to expect exactly that. Not obfuscation, deflection, and secrecy. You can tell an awful lot about a man's character by listening to what he says, but the real truth is revealed by watching his actions, or lack there of. Barry has not demonstrated that he is worthy of our respect. The rest of the world, including our traditional allies certainly don't respect him. Respect and trust is something that you earn. He has failed to do that.
