He's a citizen already, most of us get it. The bigger question is, is he a leader, and by all accounts he is not. He has done nothing to try and temper fools like yourself to bring the country together and work in the best interest of the country. He has polarized the citizenry and fomented hatred towards the opposition party. When Gabby Giffords was shot, he gave a comforting speech instructing the country to move past the rhetoric of division and hatred, and now he uses inflammatory terms designed to divide, isolate, and arguably to even destroy the opposition party. He continues the narrative against those of us who recognize the long term damage being done to the country by the democrats to our economy, and furthering the dependent classes addiction to government control. Take the food assistance program that democrats expanded by over 100% under his tenure, which is now out of funds and being cut back, which will the president and fellow democrats will demagogue, rather then see it for it is. Their failure to create economic opportunity for the masses by allowing the free markets to pull us out of the anemic economy they have created. The republicans are the only ones giving lip service and taking actions to reduce spending and address the crushing debt our children are burdened with, and your still trying to win a petty argument that is no longer relevant even if he were not a "natural born citizen". Grow up Ellen and lead by example, even if you liberals are incapable of it.

All this as the democrats and the president tell us raising the debt ceiling does not mean we will take on more debt, at the same time wanting to add another trillion plus in the next year with nothing to show for it other then selling out our children to the communist Chinese. This is beyond irresponsible. It is as if our enemies are waging an economic war on our currency through the fed and the democrat party. Bush had higher approval rating than Obama at this point in his presidency 10/09/2013

President George W. Bush held a higher approval rating in October of his fifth year in office than President Obama.

Obama’s approval rating stands at 37 percent with a 53 percent disapproval rating, according to an Associated Press/GfK poll released Wednesday October 9.

At the same point in the first year of his second term, Bush held a higher approval rating even as he battled criticisms of his handling of weeks-old Hurricane Katrina.

Now NPR and the AP tap dance around the issue. But the fact is Obama's rating have been hit far worse that those evil Republicans have been.
Now Obama wants to TALK about the issues but will still not negotiate which means "I feel the heat"!

Poll: No Heroes In Shutdown, GOP Gets Most Blame
by THE ASSOCIATED PRESS October 09, 2013

WASHINGTON (AP)— President Barack Obama and lawmakers must rise above their incessant bickering and do more to end the partial government shutdown, according to a poll Wednesday that places the brunt of the blame on Republicans but finds no one standing tall in Washington.

"So frustrating," Martha Blair, 71, of Kerrville, Texas, said of the fiscal paralysis as her scheduled national parks vacation sits in limbo. "Somebody needs to jerk those guys together to get a solution, instead of just saying 'no.'"

The Associated Press-GfK survey affirms expectations by many in Washington — Republicans among them — that the GOP may end up taking the biggest hit in public opinion from the shutdown, as happened when much of the government closed 17 years ago. But the situation is fluid nine days into the shutdown and there's plenty of disdain to go around.

Now, now, you are stretching the truth. Obama only increased the National Debt a mere $860 Billion this past fiscal year and that no where near one trillion.
But he knows that if he can get the National Debt extended another Trillion $ what will carry us past next years general elections.

As to the treasury printing money, that works too, as proven by the market's rise the last 5 years. Money is no longer money, it's just electronic transfers, and no one really understands what the hell's going on and where the real money is. Can one actually feel it, touch it? And the U.S. is no longer all that worried about its huge foreign debt. China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the US's bankers, THEY are the worried ones.

So what? What does that prove? And do you think that Obama's approval rating will dip to single digits as GWB's did in his final months? The results are what counts. Obama inherited those horrible results.

How has He helped the malnourished 66% of the world's population? How has He helped the hundreds of refugees who drowned off the Italian island of Lampedusa last week whilst seeking a better life? How has He helped the thousands of war victims in lands like Europe and Asia in 1939-45, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, various African countries, all fought by so-called "Christian nations"? Tell us how God helped those 20 children and 6 adults at Newtown. Someone sleeping at the switch? Oh, right, 20 angels now (not sure about the 6 adult, though, as they surely could have sinned and not have had time to repent), not a bad thing I suppose, as the children were saved from future adult sinning and went straight to Jesus. I'm sure, what with your love of guns and assault weapons, many more "angels" will be created.

Grow up, do a bit of serious reading and studying.

Come on man, you cannot be this gullible.

Bush and Cheney already sold out America to the Chinese and Japanese by putting two wars on the credit card and giving huge tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans.

No other President in American history did what Bush did by not raising taxes in a time of war.

Bush was shameful and disgraceful for not raising taxes on the rich.

Rightwing Republican Halliburton Cheney said deficits do not matter.

Now follow me closely Obskeptic my friend.

Where you really better off back in the 1990s when Bill Clinton's policies produced over 22 Million new jobs, balanced the budget and cut the deficits?

Were you personally better off? Tell the truth!

"your still confused?". LMAO (LRS/LTR tm reg'd). Before calling me illiterate, please try to differentiate between "your" and "you're". Looks like I wasted my time explaining them to you yesterday. I'm sure it's a Topix overzealous corrector-correction. LMAO LRS/LTR tm reg'd).

Then, out comes the LRS-type jargon, out of ammo, you scream "stop talking out of your ass". Nice birther reply. Care to show where I, the "illiterate", have ever used that kind of birther no-riposte language? Veneer? You? More like that proverbial fresh snow over the dung heap.

Need I once more post the signification of "CONservative" or its abbreviation "CON" or do you still not "get it"?

Your (sic, LTR) wrong again as you're (sic LTR) lies about Topix corrector are a figment of you're (sic LRT) CONservative imagination. Take a hike, dinosaur boy. Your (sic LTR) out of you're (sic LTR) league.

Oh, what about the FOIA? Anyone, without just cause, is allowed to access the records of any deceased American's passport application file? If that's so, so be it. I want to know about my late neighbour's vital stats, I apply to the passport office or the state dept and they supply me with a copy of his/her application form and required documentation? Okay, I won't argue with it, if that's how it goes. How's that for you? Just glad there is a little more respect for deceased citizens' privacy in most other "have" nations.

This declaration was meant to be in praise of Walmart : "Whatever you think about Walmart and its practices, at least they don't have a corporate plan built around excluding low income communities and minorities from their establishments. If Costco dared to open more than one store in a lower income Chicagoland community, their entire local business model would implode within a year. "
Right. Opening stores in poor parts of town, staffed by poor people whose low wages make them eligible for food stamps that are spent in those very Walmart stores by the indigent community. Republican logic at its best.

Business scholar says president was 'shallow,''flippant' in 1970s class

Tsurumi—now a professor of international business at Baruch College in the City University of New York—said he remembers the future president as scoring in the bottom 10 percent of students in the class.

The White House did not reply to requests for comment on Bush’s time at HBS.

Tsurumi said he particularly recalls Bush’s right-wing extremism at the time, which he said was reflected in off-hand comments equating the New Deal of the 1930s with socialism and the corporation-regulating Securities and Exchange Commission with “an enemy of capitalism.”

“I vividly remember that he made a comment saying that people are poor because they’re lazy,” Tsurumi said.

Tsurumi also said Bush displayed a sense of arrogance about his prominent family, including his father, former U.S. President George H.W. Bush.

“[George W. Bush] didn’t stand out as the most promising student, but...he made it sure we understood how well he was connected,” Tsurumi said.“He wasn’t bashful about how he was being pushed upward by Dad’s connections.”

Tsurumi said that the younger Bush boasted that his father’s political string-pulling had gotten him to the top of the waiting list for the Texas National Guard instead of serving in Vietnam. When other students were frantically scrambling for summer jobs, Tsurumi said, Bush explained that he was planning instead for a visit to his father in Beijing, where the senior Bush was serving at the time as the special U.S. envoy to China.
