Yes, I did note that article yesterday but I am not sure what to think about it. Some people brag at anything that seems to solve a problem even though it is not tested yet.
But I hope it does work and saves money as I can use the money I save to by a 600 hp, V16 pickup truck.

Yep, they took the old reliable Chevy 350 V8 engine and added four more cylinders to it.

Chip Fooce is currently working on a "Woody" with a Falconer V12 engine
Foose Woody
This 1939 Lincoln Zephyr based project promises to be unlike any Foose vehicle yet. It will be the first time Chip and his team works their magic on a woody. When one of his customers brought up the idea of a woody, Chip excitedly generated multiple concept drawings, there was even a sportsman version. They ultimately settled on the station wagon model. Now Lincoln never made a station wagon and they definitely never made a woody. But, the ’39 Zephyr form was the basis for Chip’s original drawings.
After the concept was approved, Chip created a full-scale engineering drawing, which serves as the template for the chassis rails. Since woodies typically lack structural integrity because of their light and flexible wood panels, thick steel was necessary on the frame rails. The rails were actually fabricated by a company that makes rollercoaster tubing, as they were the only business that could bend the steel while still maintaining its smoothness. Once the rails arrived, Dennis fabricated a rear kick-up support. Ultimately, an independent front and rear suspension, with pocketed A-arms, will be based off Corvette components.
In true Zephyr fashion, the vehicle will sport a V-12 motor, but this engine is unlike anyone you’ve everseen. It's a 12 cylinder Falconer Engine, built by Ryan Falconer. It's a pretty rare engine, originally designed for 7/8 scale P51 Mustangs, the kind used in air races. Basically it's a big block Chevy on steroids. Even the oil pan is custom. It was fabricated in stainless steel by Dan Woods and is a thing ofbeauty itself. This beast puts out 811 horsepower!
Two native Hawaiian woods will be used on the outer and inner frames. The wood for these side panels has already been procured, they came straight from the owners Hawaiian estate!
This vehicle is still a good 3 years from completion and is shaping up to worthy competitor for all the major automotive customization awards. Follow its progress through our build photo gallery.

You have the "TRUTH" backwards.

That is why most Americans believe Reagan and the Bush's were conservatives and Clinton and Obama are liberals.

For the most part they are NOT!

Listen to an authentic liberal/progressive!

You want our economic woes to go away?

Fund NASA.

Done and done.

Not because I am a space guy. Because that is how we got the giant economy we had.

Only innovation will rescue the US economy. If you won't recognize the SOURCE of the problem.(The federal reserve) And you won't deal with people exploiting the source.(congress) Could we please...please... just do something that will get the wheels turning again?

TARP was a lot more money than NASA was funded in it's entire history. Take a second and become aware of that.

Innovation ceases to exist when we have a fixed horizon.

You do know there is a difference between GDF and GDP growth rate, don't you? The DDP growth rate is compared to the year before while actual GDP can be compared year after year. And then you compared GDPs corrected by inflation.
For example, for the first four years of the Obama administration, the GDP growth rate averaged 1.6%. HOWEVER, the inflation rate averaged 1.8% per year. The net result is we had a NEGATIVE GDP rate (corrected by the inflation).
In other words Tootsie, we are still in a recession!
Oh the AVERAGE American has lost 15% buying power since Obama entered the White House. We also have at least ELEVEN million fewer Americans who are either employed or are under employed since Bush left the White House. Sad, very sad!

‘The Great Shift’: Americans Not Working: Aug 27, 2013
By DAVID LEONHARDT
Looking at these two charts together is a quick way to become demoralized about the American economy:
http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/08/27/...

Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics
Yes, the unemployment rate has fallen. But almost the entire reason it has fallen is the drop in the number of people in the labor force — either working or actively looking. As Binyamin Appelbaum has noted, the share of adult Americans with jobs is essentially unchanged over the last three years.

In a brief new report from Express Employment Professionals, a staffing firm, the company’s chief executive, Bob Funk, refers to the problem as “the great shift.” This shift long predates the recent financial crisis, too. The labor force participation rate peaked more than a decade ago.

Iraq’s Chemical Warfare Program
Detailed Preliminary Assessment of Chemical Weapons Findings
Chemical Munitions—Other Finds
Introduction May 2004 / http://tinyurl.com/k9cu45o
Beginning in May 2004, ISG recovered a series of chemical weapons from Coalition military units and other sources. A total of 53 munitions have been recovered, all of which appear to have been part of pre-1991 Gulf war stocks based on their physical condition and residual components.
The most interesting discovery has been a 152mm binary Sarin artillery projectile—containing a 40 percent concentration of Sarin—which insurgents attempted to use as an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The existence of this binary weapon not only raises questions about the number of viable chemical weapons remaining in Iraq and raises the possibility that a larger number of binary, long-lasting chemical weapons still exist.
ISG has no information to indicate that Iraq produced more binary Sarin rounds than it declared, however, former Iraqi scientists involved with the program admitted that the program was considered extremely successful and shelved for future use. According to the source, General Amer al-Saadi sought to downplay its findings to the UN to avoid heightened attention toward the program.
Under UN Security Resolution 687, Iraq should have destroyed or rendered harmless all CW munitions, but we cannot determine without additional information whether the rounds we have recovered were declared or if their destruction was attempted.

So far we have been lucky on the Misery Index only because Bernanke has printed over $3 Trillion Obama Bucks in a vain attempt to keep inflation checked, time is running out. Just like after Jimmy Carter printed only $500 Billion in the late 1970s, which caused a spike in the Misery Index, the Misery Index will spike most probably next year.
We can expect double-digit inflation, double-digit unemployment and return to a serious recession. All because Obama has overburdened businesses with new EPA, OSHA policies and new taxes at the same time using printed money as a bandage.
2014 will probably be a very bad year for the economy and the Democrats. You can no longer blame Bush as Obama owns this economy now!!!
