Not really Rogue! What it does is explain the incompetence of the right wing lying machine.

“The post happened to include a chart, which initially indicated that less than 10 percent of Obama’s appointees had business experience. Forbes.com subsequently altered the graph to show that more than 20 percent of Obama’s Cabinet members have a private-sector background — but not before it had been gleefully reproduced, in it is original form, all over the right.

To the chagrin of Obama’s conservative opponents, even the adjusted figures are dubious. Excluding lawyers and consultants (as Cembalest did), three of the nine members of Obama’s Cabinet included in the study — fully 33 percent — do have private-sector experience. Energy Secretary Steven Chu worked at AT & T Bell Laboratories for nine years, ultimately as the head of their Quantum Electronics Research Department. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Shaun Donovan, was a managing director at Prudential Mortgage Capital, where he directed the corporation’s $1.5 billion of investments in affordable housing loans. Finally, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar — on top of his work as Colorado attorney general and a U.S. senator — was a partner in his family’s farm for over thirty years. Salazar and his wife have also owned and operated a number of small businesses, including a Dairy Queen and several radio stations.

Another three of Obama’s appointees — Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Agriculture Secretary Thomas Vilsack and Commerce Secretary Gary Locke — all spent part of their careers working as lawyers. And Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner worked as a consultant at Kissinger Associates, a firm that advises international companies on economic and political conditions abroad.
By this count, seven out of these nine Obama appointees (or 78 percent) do have private-sector experience. Gingrich was only off by about 70 percentage points”

Poll: Alaska Republicans Want Palin for Senate
Katie Pavlich | Jul 30, 2013
It's been rumored for months that former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin might run for the U.S. Senate. Three weeks ago, Palin herself told Sean Hannity on his radio show that she was "considering it."
A new Public Policy Poll shows Palin is a top choice for the Republican primary and is leading other potential candidates by 10 points.
http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/201...
That was the good news Rogue and no doubt music to your ears, but you left out the bad news from your link.

“The bad news? She's still down with voters outside of the Republican primary in a match up with Democratic Senator Mark Begich.

It all adds up to a 52/40 lead for Begich in a hypothetical match up with Palin. He leads by 21 points with independents, 56/35, and takes 20% of the Republican vote. It's a slight improvement for Palin from February when we found her trailing Begich 54/38”

But not to fret Rogue because Palin will never run for public office again anyway.

Well, Rogue, get this and get it straight. I am not butting into American culture, I am commenting on it and that my sacred right. When you are wrong on something like you are now, when you submit phoney studies on health care, when you support joke LRS on figures he SAYS he submitted, then you are out in left field and use the only reply left, "keep out" . Won't do.

I don't need a gun here. I could put up a sign on my front lawn saying I'm not armed, but that would be deemed stupid by the neighbours who would ask me why the hell I put up such a useless sign, as not many people here are armed and we don't need an imaginary foolish "militia" as an excuse to have a firearm. Your gun killing rate is bar far the highest in the "have" countries and there must be a reason for that. An incident like the one that just happened in Florida, in Newton, in Columbine, etc etc, would be shattering, shocking, unusual and exceptional disasters in any other "have" country. Yet they are commonplace in the USA. Like it or not coming from a "furinner", truth is sometimes hard to swallow. Like Isaid, there's nothing I can do about your gun mayhem, but I WILL comment on that and any other subject, whether it be here, in the U.S. or any other country on this glove of ours.

Dan Walters: California oil could boom again
By Dan Walters dwalters@sacbee.com : Monday, Jul. 8, 201

When the Legislature's 2013 session began, one of its hottest topics – as indicated by the number of bills – was hydraulic fracturing, a technique to extract oil from shale thousands of feet below the earth's surface with high-pressure injection of water and chemicals.

"Fracking," as it's popularly termed, has ignited an oil boom in other states and California is believed to have the nation's largest shale oil deposits in the Monterey Shale Formation, a 1,750-square-mile chunk of the state, mostly in the lower San Joaquin Valley.
That region was the site of a major oil boom in the early 20th century and continues to produce. California, in fact, is still the nation's third-largest oil producer and the U.S. Energy Department estimates that Monterey shale could contain 15-plus billion barrels of oil, two-thirds of the nation's shale oil reserves.

Simply put, California could see another oil boom of monumental proportions – but that would depend on fracking and other "well stimulation" techniques.

California's shale oil is so different from that in other states that fracking may not be sufficient to recover

Now, if as a lawyer they worked for, let's say, Ford Motor Company, State Fram Insuance Co. or DOW Chemical, that would be different. But working for a law firm who only makes money for individuals is not really working with companies that make things of provide real services.

Oh, my daughter is the officer manager for an OBGYN. The company is owned but one doctor who has one assistant doctor. He RUNS the business and she is just the EMPLOYEE.
Now he will probably retire and sell his practice and whether or not he will sell to his assistant doctor I do not know.
Oh, she is a black doctor and some of their patients do not want to be seen by her. My daughter and her have covered the subject with the new doctor and my daughter handles it the best she can.
But my daughter did keep her dog for a week while she went on vacation. Nice dog. Got along real well with my dogs.
I can walk three dogs at the same time but not four so my grandson had to walk his and the guest dog while I walked my two Chihuahuas.
Oh, the guest dog is a long haired Dachshund and my daughter has a German Spitz. They got along well for the week I was there.

I believe the number was 33 percent if you don't count law firms.

Law firms aren't private sector? OReaLY? I wonder if whoever compiled your bogus chart knew that. I'm betting that they included lawyers in Bush's lofty percentages.(But then facts would only cloud your rant)

Tell us, did Hillary ever run any law firm? Make a payroll? Hire and fire employees? Sorry, maybe technically she was IN the private sector but that was about it!
That is like claiming an Army Private was some sort of a military leader.
Like I said, my daughter is the office manager of an OBGYN clinic OWNED by one doctor who has one assistant doctor. He OWNS the practice, hires and fires, makes payroll, pays bills, etc. and he also pays the other doctor. Maybe in a few years she will buy out the practice but for now, she is just another employee.

Oh, for the past three years my grandson was in Junior High School, which was 50/50 White/Black, but the basket ball team was all black with the exception of my grandson. This last year they did have two white boys on the otherwise all back team.
This year he will be in High School and he has not decided if he should try out but if he doesn't, it will not because of the low number of white kids on the team.
And he did take a black girl to the JH dance in June. I raised my daughter to be racially neutral and she has raised her two kids the same way.
