OpenSecrets.org is a loony-tooney-lefty site. Anytime I see "non-profit, nonpartisan research" I know that!!!
Oh, they want people to think they are mainstream but OpenSecrets.org is a s loon-tooney-lefty as they come.

Center for Responsive Politics
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Center for Responsive Politics (CRP) is a non-profit, nonpartisan research group based in Washington, D.C. that tracks the effects of money and lobbying on elections and public policy. It maintains a public online database of its information.

Their database OpenSecrets.org allows users to track federal campaign contributions and lobbying, by lobbying firms, individual lobbyists, industry, federal agency, and bills. Other resources include the personal financial disclosures of all members of the U.S. Congress, the president, and top members of the administration. Users can also search by ZIP codes to learn how their neighbors are allocating their political contributions.

I'm on vacation. If there is anything I have it's plenty of time. BTW, we had a great time this morning after we woke up. However, at age 61, I cannot go 24 hours a day in the sack no matter how cute she is.
Most of my time is actually spent studying music theory, going to market, cooking dinner and teaching g/f French, Italian, Indian, Chinese, and German cuisine. I also spend time on Facebook and LinkedIn. Somehow because I have time on my vacation way out in the jungle it means to Mr. non sequitur that I must not really be on vacation. That's par for the course.
A vacation is anything that is different and revitalizes you. Since I don't like big cities, I like to go to a big city during a weekend and things are more laid back. I do to rural areas and tourist areas in the middle of the week.
I would rater do Las Vegas on a Tuesday through a Thursday than on a gawd damned three-day weekend! Labor Day, Memorial Day, etc. are the worst times to go to Vegas, Reno, Disney World any popular beach etc.

Does that apply to five and ten year olds as well Mr. Liars? The kid could have killed me with that bicycle or that screaming doll could have done permanent damage to my ears sort of thing?

Many of these kids are gang members the day they are born, you moron. Are you going to trust a ten year old with a 45 in his hand? I'm not.

I can blame the teacher unions. Several years ago I ran into a high school science teacher and I did my shtick about dihydrogen monoxide poisoning and she did not get it. When I explained it to her she said, "I'm a science teacher and not a chemistry teacher'!!!
Oh, he is a product of our intercity school system.

A friend of mine was given a citation for excellence by Mayor Bloomberg because her kids scored so highly on the standardised tests to determine their grade levels (many were above their grade levels). The next thing she received was a notice that she could be terminated if she did not follow the NYC schools curriculum for her grade level. How ridiculous is that? I agree that the teachers' unions are a problem but they are just one of many affecting our substandard educational programs. I sometimes wonder if it isn't designed to keep the populace stupid and under control (and I am NO conspiracy theorist).

There are worse things than war. And, making a profit is not a crime.
And you do know what the Romans said about war? "The prevent war, be prepared for war". The reason why the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor was they knew they could get away with it as were not prepared.
Do you know ho the air craft carrier, the USS John Stennis", is named after and why? If it was not for him, we probably would have lost WWII!
You idiotically wrote : "The reason why the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor was they knew they could get away with it as were not prepared."

They did? So they won WW2?

PS : All they did was destroy obsolete battle wagons. No carriers. The only sad and horrible thing about Pearl harbor was the loss of so many lives.

This is the second time in recent years where a 'blow-out preventor' has failed to prevent .... a blow-out! I don't know if these were both from the same manufacturer, but it does not look good.
At least in this case there were no injuries or deaths nor significant water contamination.
But this may bolster BP's claim that their disaster was mostly not their fault but the fault of the blow-out preventor.
I did work off shore on oil platforms and on every platform there were these 'panic valves'. They were even on the helo-deck. We were told that if we needed to activate one, DO IT! But if you did it just because you were pissed-off at someone, you would never be allowed on any platform anywhere.

NEW ORLEANS (AP)— The owner of a natural gas drilling rig aflame off of Louisiana's coast said preparations were under way for the possible drilling of a relief well to divert gas from the site and bring the well under control.

BTW, Rogue, how come you have not mentioned that your hero, Halliburton, has just pleaded guilty to gross negligence in the Gulf platform disaster that claimed 11 lives? Rogue, please also tell us why you mentioned the 4 dead in Benghazi for weeks, blaming Obama and Hillary Clinton non-stop (incidentally, you were right to deplore those unfortunate deaths) but you've never said a word, not a single word about those 11 platform workers, nor blamed anyone. How about, now that Halliburton pleaded guilty, AFTER BP also pleaded guilty TWICE and paid over $30 million in fines? Who killed those 11 men, Rogue?

Well, five years ago I got off a cruise ship and was checked by Customs and I had just five Viagra tabs and of my five prescription meds the only one they opened up was the Viagra.
Oh, Viagra did not work for me so my doc ran some tests and I have 'Low T' and have been using Androgel ever since and that perked up my putter so now I can hit a hole in one!

Look loser, do you know the old adage? You'll find it in a book you've never read, the Bible. It goes like this : "Tell me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are."

Well, how about this variation of the above? "Show me how you write (you did) and I'll tell you you never travelled." You fit the bill to a "T".

Jacques,
Do you want to know what I think about Zimmerman's injuries.
I think that there are many doctors who would have ordered cervical spine x=rays to check for subluxation.
They would order those films on anyone who had their head slammed into the concrete.
The mechanism of injury is there to justify the tests as a precautionary measure.
So there,

We do know the train was running and unattended when it ran away and that is all we know (or that is what they are telling us). So jumping on a cause before one is identified it just plane wrong. But that will not stop Libtards from making rash judgements as they also did in the death of Trayvon Martin!

Having a two-man crew will not eliminate accidents. It should, however, reduce them. How about a comment on M and M train company management, Rogue, that ordered and hired clean-up crews to begin clean-up operations? So far,$5 million in costs, M & M , for no reason, has pulled the crews, clean-up halted, and small municipality is stuck with the $5 million bill. But hey, that's not all, Accident destroyed about 25% of the town, left maybe 50 dead and many injured. Track is closed to traffic. So what does darling M & M do?. Easy, hey, as Rogue would say, business is business. They fire 19 maintenance and security personnel. Why? Double DOH. There is no work for them. Track is closed. Oh, finally M & M THINKS it has insurance. Not sure if it does and sorry for the repeat, if it does, not sure it covers that kind of accident as it may have been caused by , DOH, criminal negligence. Ah, those captains of industry. But fear not, they have vassals defending them. They know who they are.
