Yep, if someone threatens you with bodily harm or worse, you have the right to stop them. If you go up to someone and begin beating them, guess what, you can shoot them dead! The court reached the correct verdict. Now, GET OVER IT!
Does that apply to five and ten year olds as well Mr. Liars? The kid could have killed me with that bicycle or that screaming doll could have done permanent damage to my ears sort of thing?

Many of these kids are gang members the day they are born, you moron. Are you going to trust a ten year old with a 45 in his hand? I'm not.

I can blame the teacher unions. Several years ago I ran into a high school science teacher and I did my shtick about dihydrogen monoxide poisoning and she did not get it. When I explained it to her she said, "I'm a science teacher and not a chemistry teacher'!!!

A friend of mine was given a citation for excellence by Mayor Bloomberg because her kids scored so highly on the standardised tests to determine their grade levels (many were above their grade levels). The next thing she received was a notice that she could be terminated if she did not follow the NYC schools curriculum for her grade level. How ridiculous is that? I agree that the teachers' unions are a problem but they are just one of many affecting our substandard educational programs. I sometimes wonder if it isn't designed to keep the populace stupid and under control (and I am NO conspiracy theorist).

And you do know what the Romans said about war? "The prevent war, be prepared for war". The reason why the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor was they knew they could get away with it as were not prepared.
Do you know ho the air craft carrier, the USS John Stennis", is named after and why? If it was not for him, we probably would have lost WWII!
You idiotically wrote : "The reason why the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor was they knew they could get away with it as were not prepared."

They did? So they won WW2?

PS : All they did was destroy obsolete battle wagons. No carriers. The only sad and horrible thing about Pearl harbor was the loss of so many lives.

This is the second time in recent years where a 'blow-out preventor' has failed to prevent .... a blow-out! I don't know if these were both from the same manufacturer, but it does not look good.
At least in this case there were no injuries or deaths nor significant water contamination.
But this may bolster BP's claim that their disaster was mostly not their fault but the fault of the blow-out preventor.
I did work off shore on oil platforms and on every platform there were these 'panic valves'. They were even on the helo-deck. We were told that if we needed to activate one, DO IT! But if you did it just because you were pissed-off at someone, you would never be allowed on any platform anywhere.

BTW, Rogue, how come you have not mentioned that your hero, Halliburton, has just pleaded guilty to gross negligence in the Gulf platform disaster that claimed 11 lives? Rogue, please also tell us why you mentioned the 4 dead in Benghazi for weeks, blaming Obama and Hillary Clinton non-stop (incidentally, you were right to deplore those unfortunate deaths) but you've never said a word, not a single word about those 11 platform workers, nor blamed anyone. How about, now that Halliburton pleaded guilty, AFTER BP also pleaded guilty TWICE and paid over $30 million in fines? Who killed those 11 men, Rogue?

Jacques,
Do you want to know what I think about Zimmerman's injuries.
I think that there are many doctors who would have ordered cervical spine x=rays to check for subluxation.
They would order those films on anyone who had their head slammed into the concrete.
The mechanism of injury is there to justify the tests as a precautionary measure.
So there,

We do know the train was running and unattended when it ran away and that is all we know (or that is what they are telling us). So jumping on a cause before one is identified it just plane wrong. But that will not stop Libtards from making rash judgements as they also did in the death of Trayvon Martin!

Having a two-man crew will not eliminate accidents. It should, however, reduce them. How about a comment on M and M train company management, Rogue, that ordered and hired clean-up crews to begin clean-up operations? So far,$5 million in costs, M & M , for no reason, has pulled the crews, clean-up halted, and small municipality is stuck with the $5 million bill. But hey, that's not all, Accident destroyed about 25% of the town, left maybe 50 dead and many injured. Track is closed to traffic. So what does darling M & M do?. Easy, hey, as Rogue would say, business is business. They fire 19 maintenance and security personnel. Why? Double DOH. There is no work for them. Track is closed. Oh, finally M & M THINKS it has insurance. Not sure if it does and sorry for the repeat, if it does, not sure it covers that kind of accident as it may have been caused by , DOH, criminal negligence. Ah, those captains of industry. But fear not, they have vassals defending them. They know who they are.

Did I ever tell you about the black woman who gave her kid a whuppin' right in front of me.
He was about 1 year old and he was fussing and crying. It was really no big deal, but he was sick. He was little. We were in the Emergency Room when this happened. I was on staff and he was a patient. I will never forget that incident until the day I die.
She belted him 3 times across the rear end, and I had to stop her from continuing any further.
I should tell you about some of the things I have seen. I think you might get a kick out some of it.
It's not all that glamorous though.
One time I was sitting there watching TV in the waiting room because we were slow and there was nothing to do, which was unusual in itself.
But I could see down the hallway about 20 yards and through the sliding glass doors and out onto the ramp where the ambulances pull up and unload their patients.
This is on the outskirts of Chicago, mind you. West Side Story.
All of a sudden out of nowhere a big old rusty yellow Cadillac pulls up and lurches to a stop.
The back door flys open and someone shoved two bodies out of the back and onto the pavement into a heap of motionless human flesh. The car then sped away in an instant.
They were gunshot victims and each had been shot multiple times. I think they lived, as far as I know.
I didn't see the driver or anyone else. It happened that fast.

Eve seen children lying in the streets, in a dusty field, skeletons but with swollen bellies, dying of hunger? Ever seen a mammy wagon loose control, turn over and 20 bodies flying out, broken limbs, bones protruding, heads smashed, and the wailing and the cries for help and mercy, or a boy, legs permanently swung onto his shoulders at birth, his hands in flip flops so he could beg better, total despair, yelling, "hé. monsieur Moustache, t'as 20 CFA pour moi?" Men in hospital beds with elaphantitis - you surely know what that is. You want to cry, wonder about that phrase, "all of us being born equal". Tell them that. I think we've all seen our share of hopelessness. What makes it sadder is knowing that as individuals, there's nothing we can do about it.

Jacques,
I'm just sayin' that if he went to the hospital that fateful night, they likely would have had to rule out cervical subluxation from a medical malpractice point of view.

Oil services giant Halliburton Co. will soon shift its corporate headquarters from Houston to the Mideast financial powerhouse of Dubai, chief executive Dave Lesar announced Sunday.
"Halliburton is opening its corporate headquarters in Dubai while maintaining a corporate office in Houston," spokeswoman Cathy Mann said in an e-mail to The Associated Press. "The chairman, president and CEO will office from and be based in Dubai to run the company from the UAE."

Rogue's and LRS's cherished Halliburton moving to Dubai, where that recently-convicted Better Business Bureau darling will be in good company. That very liberal and open Dubai where a Norwegian woman got 16 months in jail for being raped. Her rapist got 13 months. Intervention by Norwegian PM got her out, otherwise, would be interesting to see how often she'd have been raped in jail and getting 16 months jail time for every rape.

Dubai and Halliburton. Like a horse and carriage. They deserve each other.

I still think Obama is buffaloing people and companies into agreeing to things that really amount to nothing.
If Halliburton 'recommended" 21 centering devices and BP used only 6, did it contribute to the disaster? Next, does it amount to criminal negligence? Now, using Libtardian Logic, sense there was a disaster, it must have been so!
Lets say you have an old car that broke down and the mechanic recommends $5,000 worth of work but you just want to repair it enough so you can sell it so you approve only $500 worth of work.
Then someone buys you old car and the transmission fails and you are brought up on CRIMINAL charges?!?
Now don't forget that BP still has a multi-billion dollar lawsuit against the people who made the blow-out preventor and the disaster never would have happened if the preventor had worked properly.
Feds: Halliburton agrees to plead guilty in spill
Associated Press 10 hours ago
NEW ORLEANS (AP)-- Halliburton Energy Services has agreed to plead guilty to destroying evidence in connection with the 2010 Gulf oil spill, the Department of Justice said Thursday.
Federal officials said in a news release that a criminal information charging Halliburton with one count of destruction of evidence was filed in federal court in Louisiana.
Halliburton has agreed to pay the maximum fine, be on probation for three years and continue to cooperate with the government's criminal investigation, according to the news release, which did not list the amount of the fine.
The Houston-based company has also made a $55 million voluntary contribution to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. It was not a condition of the court agreement, the news release says.
The company said in a statement Thursday night that it had agreed to plead guilty "to one misdemeanor violation associated with the deletion of records created after the Macondo well incident, to pay the statutory maximum fine of $200,000 and to accept a term of three years probation."
The Justice Department has agreed it will not pursue further criminal prosecution of the company or its subsidiaries for any conduct arising from the 2010 spill, Halliburton's statement said, adding that federal officials have also "acknowledged the company's significant and valuable cooperation during the course of its investigation."
