Today McCain is running like a Bush Republican corporatist. That is how you get elected in America. Same as Hillary Corporatist Clinton.

Florida couple cancels news conference about how George Zimmerman helped them after car crash
Published July 24, 2013 Associated Press

ORLANDO, Fla.– A husband and wife canceled a news conference in which they had planned to talk about how George Zimmerman assisted them after their SUV flipped over on a Florida highway.
Mark and Dana Gerstle had planned to speak Wednesday afternoon at the Orlando law office of Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara.
But O'Mara spokesman Shawn Vincent says they changed their minds, deciding they didn't want to be in the spotlight.
Zimmerman and another man helped the couple and their two children out of a flipped SUV off the road near Interstate 4 last week. The family wasn't hurt.
It was the first time Zimmerman was seen publicly since he was acquitted on all charges earlier this month in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin.

Unfortunately it is rainy season and I'm being eaten alive by mosquitos every time I go out except during the heat of the day. It's about 8:00 AM now and it's already getting very warm. yesterday it was 30 C but with high humidity it feels like 98 F.
Drink sulfur water. Sure it stinks but the misquotes don't like it.
I have a sister-in-law who is from Sabu. She's been in the U.S. since 1991 and now she is all American and rules the house. My poor brother thought he was getting a little subdued oriental woman, but he didn't.
People who try to come to America are usually pretty tough. Think about it. A new culture, new language, you are away from your family, etc. Most people won't even though them would probably be better off for the trip.
They were at Clark AFB when Mount Pinatubo blew up. My brother was an SP and had to stay and secure the base and his wife and two kids went to liver with our parents in Florida.
Instead of putting them on a plane bound for Daytona Beach, FL (DAB) the Air Force put them on a plane bound for Dayton, OH (DAY). Ah, DAB, DAY no big deal!!!!

Last night I scared a black squiggly critter about four inches long. It was on the wall outside the house. It leaped to the overhanging roof scurried a few feel and then let go, falling to the ground and disappeared. I have no idea what it was.

BTW, my g/f saw the "mean black spider" yesterday which I had told her about, and informed me that it was harmless. She shooed it out of the house. She thought it was pretty funny.

Ross Perot was against everything Bush did, not Clinton.

If anything he took votes from Clinton because both were against Bush.

I am always flummoxed by your logic.

The corporate Democratic party wants you to believe the authentic liberal/progressive caused Gore to lose.

Not True!

By the time I'm 70 she'll be only 42. However, generic Viagra (sildenafil citrate) here costs only $1.92 per tablet. I don't plan on slowing down. Not that I need it but I experimented with it, buying from a pharmacy at the Metro Mall. She couldn't believe it. It was like being 25 again. I bought over $1000 worth for only about $200.

The biggest problem with gasoline powered aircraft is that over 90% of them need leaded gasoline, 100LL (Low Lead) but there has been a big push to go to diesel engine power aircraft that use jet fuel.

DeltaHawk Engine Update

Right now there are only a few FAA certified aircraft diesel engines. Most are based on automotive converted engines but one, built by SMA of France, was scratch built. But all of these are hour-stroke engines that are ... HEAVY.
DeltaHawk has bee working on a two-stroke engines which are about 40 pounds less that a comparable Lycoming O/IO-360 engine. And when you consider they use 40% less fuel (60% cheaper), and use readily available Jet fuel, you should see them in a lot of light aircraft real soon.
Since they have a built in super/turbo charger, they will make full power up to at least 15,000 feet PA.
Deltahawk also expects to make a 300 hp V6 engine and a 400 hp V-8 engine which will be a lot cheaper than a turbo prop plane.

Wiretap Denial a Criminal Cover-up
August 10, 2007 http://tinyurl.com/ypukpy
Eight words: "These calls are not intercepted within the country." That's how President Bush has described the so-called "Terrorist Surveillance Program" — the president's warrantless wiretapping of communications between persons inside and outside the United States when the government claims a link to al-Qaida. The president said this during a press conference on Dec. 19, 2005, three days after The New York Times revealed the program's existence.

But now it seems those eight words weren't true. In fact, they concealed unlawful conduct.

Over this past weekend, Congress passed a hastily drafted bill amending FISA — the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978. One of the bill's key provisions amends FISA to allow warrantless wiretapping whenever the target of the surveillance is "a person reasonably believed to be located outside the United States."

In little-noticed testimony before a Senate committee on May 1, director of national intelligence Mike McConnell disclosed the reason why the White House wanted this amendment. He said: "When seeking to monitor foreign persons suspected of involvement in terrorist activity who are physically located in foreign countries, the intelligence community is required under today's FISA to obtain a court order to conduct surveillance." At the same hearing, National Security Agency director Keith Alexander explained that a FISA warrant is required because the communication is "collected in the United States." http://www.law.com/jsp/ca/PubArticleCA.jsp...

NOW investigates a little-known Pentagon program that's been secretly snooping on Americans with the help of local law enforcement Audio
PBS Now Pentagon Spying TALON
How far can the Pentagon go to flush out terrorists in our midst? NOW takes a look at a little-known Pentagon program created by Paul Wolfowitz called TALON, short for "Threat and Local Observation Notice." TALON has been keeping tabs on a wide range of innocent Americans, from student protesters to even one 79-year-old grandmother. Critics allege that much of the information generated has been unreliable -- particularly from their close collaboration with local law enforcement. Plus author and columnist John Avlon about the political risks of alienating centrists.

I bought out the entire supply at the pharmacy in the mall. I used my irish passport for ID on the credit card purchase. The demure Filipinas behind the counter filled my order. Later I bet they were telling their friends about the Irishman with the cute Filipina g/f who bought out the entire store supply of Viagra. My friends are already asking for some. One friend in West Hartford, CT sent me some $$$ by Western Union and an extra $20 for a bottle of wine.

A Pan Am 727 flight, waiting for start clearance in Munich , overheard the following:

Lufthansa (in German): "Ground, what is our start clearance time?"

Ground (in English): "If you want an answer you must speak in English."

Lufthansa (in English): "I am a German, flying a German airplane, in Germany . Why must I speak English?"

Unknown voice from another plane (in a beautiful British accent):"Because you lost the bloody war!"

Well way back then I was in my mid-20s and being the typical young male I just had to find out so I provoked a few to bit me. They pinched hard when they bit but drew no blood. Maybe the ones over there are bigger and badder than the ones in Hawaii.
