Schools do not teach history so students will not know that they are being indoctrinated. By not teaching history, they are free to change the meaning of it. The majority of people in this country do NOT know that we are a Republic, meaning rule of law, and not a Democracy, meaning rule of the majority! We have a Constitution and a Bill of Rights outlining and protecting our God-given rights from an over-reaching Government, but schools no longer teach us about that either! Maybe if the pledge of Allegiance were still recited daily in the schools, most people would know that they were pledging Allegiance to the flag of the United States and to the Republic for which it stands, as well as that we were one nation under God!<quoted text>
Sure, and the First Congress was clueless and the USSC and every court since.
Funny that we can use his name on our money, but can't teach that this country was founded by religious people who believed in God, or mention his name in the halls of our government buildings. There is NO separation of Church and State mentioned in any of the founding documents. To teach that truth would be politically incorrect to the atheists.
Political correctness is killing this country.
