Now here is another example of Libtardian Logic. There appears to be someone from the CIA leaking information to the Associated Press. So instead of getting the phone records of suspects from the CIA, they target the AP.
It is not a crime to receive information but it is a crime to leak classified information. Instead of targeting the AP, why don't they target the people who were actually suspects in the leaking???
If they accidentally get a conversation between a member of the CIA and a AP reporter, that is a different issue.
It does not matter. What the reporters of AP were doing was NOT a violation of the law, ergo the FBI had no right to execute a search warrant on them.<quoted text>
How do you know if they have not targeted CIA phone records?
The alleged crime had been committed over six months ago and they subpoenaed only records for the past two months!?! It seems they are not investigating last years crimes but crimes that MIGHT BE committed in the future.
