Of course that definition fits House Repubs just as well as it fits the IRS in this instance.
The Right really doesnt seem to realize their Cloying Self Pity and Faux Moral Outrage lacks any shred of credibilty after the last 4-1/2 years.
That describes Obumbler's presidency to a T! No credibility after 4 1/2 years and no progress! Unless you consider raising the national debt progress. Which the Demokrauts apparently do. LMAO!!!

Damn judge, no doubt a democrat-appointment and an Iranian communist.
The Birfoon even named the Judge that dismissed his frivolous suit as a defendant in his frivolous appeal. Obviously, much like Lil Romper, he studied at the Dufus Dale school of creative law and gay bashing

Well said. And I'm sure you had understood that I was not celebrating this long-established custom of countries eavesdropping on their citizens. We're stuck with it. Deplorable as most of these sleuths so to speak have no idea how to handle all that information.
I know where your coming from my friend.

Howard Zinn is one of this country’s most celebrated historians. His classic work “A People’s History of the United States” changed the way we look at history in America. First published a quarter of a century ago, the book has sold over a million copies and is a phenomenon in the world of publishing–selling more copies each successive year.

It is not a crime to receive information but it is a crime to leak classified information. Instead of targeting the AP, why don't they target the people who were actually suspects in the leaking???
If they accidentally get a conversation between a member of the CIA and a AP reporter, that is a different issue.

How do you know if they have not targeted CIA phone records?
It does not matter. What the reporters of AP were doing was NOT a violation of the law, ergo the FBI had no right to execute a search warrant on them.
The alleged crime had been committed over six months ago and they subpoenaed only records for the past two months!?! It seems they are not investigating last years crimes but crimes that MIGHT BE committed in the future.

I bet Richard Nixon and Woodrow Wilson would be proud of him. After all, the Income Tax had only been around since 1913 and Wilson really did not have enough time to get his fingers in it but if he had had more time, he probably would have.

I'm so sorry. So sorry that a native Francophone writer whose English happens to be his second language manages to so easily outclass you in what is supposed to be your native tongue. I have a good knowledge of three languages (oral, written) and a passable one in Spanish. You, on the other hand, have a poor handle on the only language you were supposedly raised in. How it must suck to express oneself so poorly in your only one language and thus be deprived of the ability to project a discourse beyond primary school level.

So, according to you , I have no creative writing in Topix. Waaaahhh.

"It does not matter" , you wrote. It DOES matter simply because you accused the administration of tapping AP phones only and asked why instead they did not tap CIA phones. I asked how you knew they were not tapping CIA phones and you come back with "It does not matter"? Do you see your mistake now? Talk about having your cake and devouring it too.

Hummmm, Louis Brandeis who was a progressive and died some 70 years ago.
And who is this Edward Dowling and under what context did he make that statement?
And then there is Howard Zinn, another progressive who likes to rewrite history.

You don't "get it". Let's say they tap your phone lines because some criminal will try and contact you? At some point it becomes a violation of your civil rights!!!
What if they put a GPS tracker on your car? Is that okay with you? How about your winnings in Las Vegas. Would it be okay for the Canadian government to send an agent to Las Vegas to check and see if you win any money there? I bet you would get upset but just because you think Obama is in trouble, he has the right to break our laws!?!
