Yep, another Canadian-Libtard on the run from the law. Paul Watson jumped ship before it docked in Australia. There are two outstanding arrest warrants for Watson but Australia says it has no plans to arrest him. I guess Watson will have to live out his ife at sea!

Sea Shepherd ships dock in Australia without boss
Sea Shepherd founder flees before group's ships dock in Australia; gov't denies arrest plans

By Rod Mcguirk, Associated Press | Associated Press

CANBERRA, Australia (AP)-- The founder of Sea Shepherd left the environmental group's fleet of anti-whaling ships before they docked in Australia on Wednesday, though the government says it has no reason to arrest him at the moment.
Three Sea Shepherd ships docked at the southern port of Williamstown after weeks of harassing Japanese whalers in the Antarctic Ocean during the annual whaling season.
The Washington state-based organization, which the United States' largest federal court last month labeled "pirates," said Watson, a 62-year-old Canadian, had left the fleet before it reached Australia for fear of arrest. His whereabouts have not been disclosed.
Interpol, the France-based international police organization, said on its website that Watson is wanted by Japan for "hooliganism/vandalism/da mage, life and health." He is also wanted by Costa Rica for allegedly endangering a fishing vessel crew in 2002. Watson fled from Germany in July after being arrested at the behest of the Costa Rican government.
But Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus told Parliament that Watson would not have been arrested on setting foot on Australia because no Australian arrest warrant existed.
Dreyfus would not say whether Japan or any other country had requested his extradition — a necessary step before an arrest warrant is issued.
"It is a longstanding Australian government policy ... not to disclose whether Australia has received an extradition request from another country," Dreyfus said.
"The Australian government does not provide assurances about whether a person will be subject to extradition proceedings either now or in the future," he added.
Australia is a vocal critic of Japanese whaling in the Antarctic. Dreyfus said he expects Australia's case that whaling violates Japan's international obligations will be heard this year by the International Court of Justice in the Hague.
The Sea Shepherd vessels will remain in Williamstown for several months while they complete repairs. One of those ships, the Bob Barker, collided with a Japanese whaler last month.
Also last month, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco reinstated a lawsuit by Japanese whalers against Watson and Sea Shepherd. The court called the activists pirates and said the whalers were likely to win an order banning Sea Shepherd from disrupting the annual whale hunt off Antarctica.
Watson contends the Costa Rican charges were filed because of pressure from the Japanese government, and that he eventually would have been extradited to Japan if he had remained in custody.
Shortly after Watson was arrested in Germany in May, Sea Shepherd issued a statement saying Watson was filming a documentary at the time of the alleged incident, which took place in Guatemalan waters in 2002.
The group said it encountered an illegal shark finning operation run by a Costa Rican ship, the Varadero, and told the crew to stop and head to port to be prosecuted. The crew accused Watson's team of trying to kill them by ramming their ship.
On setting out on his latest anti-whaling campaign in December, Watson said he was unlikely to return to the United States because American authorities would likely turn him over to Japan.

Bill Maher needs to stop his whining. He got exactly what he voted for and he needs to pay his "fair share"!!!

RUSH LIMBAUGH MOCKS BILL MAHER FOR COMIC'S CLUELESS VIEW OF TAX RATES

Conservatives know the sky is blue, the sun comes up in the morning and rich Californians pay a large portion of their salaries to Uncle Sam.
Apparently, the latter is breaking news to the host of HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher, and Rush Limbaugh mocked Maher for it on the talker's most recent radio broadcast.
He said he just learned -- now, you and I, you've known this for 20 years. This is instructive. He just learned that the top 1% are paying 40% of the taxes. And when he learned that, he was beside himself. He just learned it. He told everybody, "I just saw it today, I just saw the statistic...."
It's amazing the things liberals do not know. It's amazing the things that they do know that are not right.

Two pilots flying with Bose noise cancelling head pones so they did not hear the "beep, beep, beep" that would have told them their landing gear was still UP!!!
And they probably did not heard the grinding noise as the plane's belly was dragging on the runway. Ah, no need to step DOWN when you get out of the plane either!

To get a Commercial pilots licence you must be checked out in a COMPLEX aircraft which has 200 or more HP, a constant speed propeller and retractable landing gear.

Response to Rogue's 147789, "Another Canadian "libtard" (rogue tm reg'd) on the run.

That bastard. So ashamed of him. He makes Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot and Saddam look like altar boys. How dare he bring shame on Canada. Hope they catch him soon, preferably in Australia where they'll surely give him a life sentence in a kangaroo pouch, that'll teach him to waltz with Matilda. You see a Canadian, anywhere, even in CANADA, cover your wallet, pockets, all of it.

PS : er,Rogue, while you're at it, give us the names of all other Canadian "libtards" (rogue , tm reg'd) on the run. Oh, still on the subject of people "on the run", what was the name again of that AlQaeda American terrorist "on the run" that Obama wiped out with a drone?

Yep, if you assume two hours preflighting followed by an eleven hour flight, ya might get a little tired!

At about 10 p.m. local time on May 8, 2006, a 7th Bomb Wing B-1B Lancer (Tail Number 86132 - called "Oh! Hard Luck") based at Dyess AFB, Texas, made a wheels-up belly landing on runway 31 at Diego Garcia, skidding 7,500 feet down the runway. The aircraft was landing at the end of an 11 hour ferry mission that started at Andersen AFB, Guam. During the landing, the B-1B caught fire and emergency crews extinguished the flames. The four-person aircrew escaped from the plane through the overhead escape hatch. The aircraft was finally removed from the runway 4 days later. The Air Force Accident Investigation, released 18 September 2006, concluded the pilots forgot to lower the landing gear. The USAF estimated the damage to the B-1B at $7.9 million, and the damage to the runway at $14,025. RBRM and those old SEABEES made one tough runway, that's for sure! For those of you who've never seen a $285,000,000.00 bomber on the deck, here she is! And at the bottom is a picture of what $7.9 million in repairs and a year of work can accomplish!

Indiana Jones and the Control Tower Crusade
By Nathan Hurst Roll Call Staff March 19, 2013

The man who played Indiana Jones on the big screen is on a new crusade, this time on Capitol Hill.
Actor Harrison Ford visited members of the House General Aviation Caucus on Tuesday as part of an effort to reverse the closure of about 200 air traffic control towers that the Federal Aviation Administration said will stem from the sequester’s budget cuts.
“The consequences of it are vast,” said the 70-year-old, who gained fame for his depiction of Han Solo in the original “Star Wars” trilogy and is an accomplished aviation enthusiast.“We need a solution.”
Ford became a champion of the general aviation industry after learning to fly two decades ago,“about when the wine ran out,” he joked. Since then, he’s regularly advocated on behalf of such groups as the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, which has repeatedly used him in campaigns.
The General Aviation Caucus claims about 170 members and has recently been working to fend off the tower closures that the FAA said will be needed to comply with the sequester. Republican members, including caucus co-chairman Sam Graves, R-Mo., have lambasted FAA Administrator Michael Huerta and Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood over furloughs of air traffic controllers set to begin in April. The Obama administration has warned that the unpaid time off could lead to major airport delays.
FAA officials are slated to announce Friday exactly how their sequester-related cuts will affect employees and which control towers and other facilities are slated for closure. Ford warned such cuts wouldn’t just affect private pilots like himself.
“It’s about commercial aviation and safety, too,” he said.
Ford said he was happy to lend his hand to the caucus, and he offered to fly any member of Congress in one of his aircraft, so long as they were going where he was.
“I always like a full airplane,” he said.
Perhaps that’s because he finds private airplanes easier to handle than some of the craft he has flown in his Hollywood roles — such as the interstellar spaceship his “Star Wars” character piloted alongside loyal sidekick Chewbacca the Wookiee.
“The Millennium Falcon is a lot harder to fly,” Ford quipped.

And this is Breitbarts spin on the issue.

HARRISON FORD FLIES TO D.C. TO SUPPORT AIR SAFETY, DEFEND OBAMA

Harrison Ford may be the only American simultaneously satisfied with President Barack Obama and Congress yet genuinely fearful of the fallout from sequestration.
The Star Wars actor and aviation enthusiast appeared on the Hill today to caution the country about the potential fallout from sequestration cuts.
"The issue that concerns me, the most important issue to me right now is the closure of some 200 contract towers and the impact that will have on safety,” the “Indiana Jones” star said.“The consequences of this are vast...."
Though this issue has him fired up, on his way out of Longworth, Ford said he’s generally satisfied with both Congress and President Barack Obama.
Ford may not realize Obama's role in the sequester process, one mostly hidden by mainstream news outlets.
