Yep, that is what Jimmy Carter said after he printed $500B and in 1980 we ended up with a 24% inflation rate.
Yep, Shinzō Abe is a Liberal Democratic and he will trade long term success for a sugar rush Quantitative Easement. Libtards never learn from history.

Japan unlikely to suffer hyper inflation -PM Abe

TOKYO, March 11 | Mon Mar 11, 2013 4:12am EDT
(Reuters)- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Monday that Japan was unlikely to suffer from hyper inflation as a side effect of aggressive monetary easing and large fiscal spending.

"Some people talk about hyper inflation, but I think it is safe to say it is unlikely. If the two percent price target is exceeded, the Bank of Japan would naturally take steps to keep (inflation) within two percent," Abe told a news conference.

I haven't figured out why you Libtards hate Richard Nixon. After all, he was the most Progressive Republican president we ever had. He help create the EPA and OSHA and wanted to nationalize our health care system. And he was just as nasty as Obama is too. You Libtards should have been in love with Nixon!

AP Enterprise: Nixon Wished for Total Handgun Ban

Few presidents in modern times have been as interested in gun control as Richard Nixon, of all people. He proposed ridding the market of Saturday night specials, contemplated banning handguns altogether and refused to pander to gun owners by feigning interest in their weapons.
Several previously unreported Oval Office recordings and White House memos from the Nixon years show a conservative president who at times appeared willing to take on the National Rifle Association, a powerful gun lobby then as now, even as his aides worried about the political ramifications.
"I don't know why any individual should have a right to have a revolver in his house," Nixon said in a taped conversation with aides. "The kids usually kill themselves with it and so forth." He asked why "can't we go after handguns, period?"

What's the point of the above? Is it in response to anything I or anyone else wrote?

Oh, btw, did you know that Japan has been in a recession, or downturn, whatever you may want to call it, for over 15 years now? That they've had 15 changes of governments in the last 15 years? Still not too well informed on foreign affairs, are we?

How many times have you Libtards thrown out the Race Card to belittle Birthers and TEA Partiers? Even though some of us are .... BLACK ..... you lump us all as racist. This actually make YOU the racists!!!
If you believe in "social Justice' to fix what ahppened a hundred years ago, you are a RACIST!!!

Immigration Reform: Who is going to play the race card now?
- Marinka Peschmann Monday, March 11, 2013

A racist can be defined as “a person who believes in racism, the doctrine that a certain human race is superior to any or all others.”

Lodging the accusation of racism against people who are not racists is vile and despicable, yet in recent years the race card has been thrown around like confetti by certain media types and politicians, especially against conservatives and those Americans who want a small, efficient government. In the debate on immigration reform, people who disagree with a path to citizenship for illegal aliens can find themselves branded a racist or even a potential domestic terrorist.

The goal of playing the race card is to silence freedom of speech and intimidate Americans who dare to disagree or who speak truth to power..........

Ah, no president passes anything. The fact was that the House was ruled by the Democrats for all eight years Reagan was president and the Senate was Democratic the last two years.
Besides, Reagan was NOT the president in 1994 and was showing signs of Alzheimer's by then.

Libtards are funny. They claim Reagan had Alzheimer's before he left office in 1989 but in 1994 he had a clear mind!!! Hey Libtards, you can't have it both ways!!!
Oh, people with Alzheimer's are easily manipulated especially by people they trust and Nancy Reagan was a Liberal and she probably influenced Reagan on the letter of Assault Weapons.

And you Libtards also claim Reagan raised taxes 11-12 times but that too is incorrect as the tax burden went DOWN while he was president. Sure they closed "loopholes" at the same time he dropped tax "rates" but the net effect was lower overall taxes.
Now not only did Obama get higher tax rates for the evil rich people but now he wants to close loopholes and the next result is a much higher tax burden for the rich.
Boat manufacturers stopped making their yachts in the U.S. and started to make them overseas and the rich took delivery of those boats in places like the Bahamas. Silly Libtards. Their hatred of rich people is counter productive. And you are so blinded by your bigotry, you will never see the truth!
But all the rich do is move their money so the net result is a weaker economy and less revenue to the federal government. Donald Trump has his jets registered in Bermuda. WHY? Because of lower taxes!!! When Jimmy Carter put luxury taxes on cars, boats, planes, etc. all that did was hurt the people who made them in America.

Rogue, again, you show your poor knowledge of things foreign. Japan, for the last 15 years, has been governed for 11 of 15 years by the conservative party called the LDP, or liberal democratic party. The words "liberal and democratic" fooled you. They're conservatives, Rogue. The other party that's been very little in power is the DPJ, or democratic party of Japan, is the conservative party. Fooled you again.

European countries are economically sick at the moment. But check out some of their debt per capita and you'll find that most of them, with an equal standard of living as the US, have in many cases, a lower debt per capita.

I know Canada's oil exports keep us afloat, but we do export other products, like airplanes, 2/3 of our automobile production, communications and high tech material, pulp and paper, meat, plenty of wheat, corn and canola (we invented canola, more or less, used to be called rapeseed), huge amount of minerals etc. Our problem, main problem, and it explains higher prices and taxes in part, is that we have the 2nd largest country in the world but it is sparsely populated, only 34 million. Not enough population for economies of scale. If we do not export, we are dead.

Sorry, they were never Conservatives. The LDP was center-right until 2003 when the merged with the Democrat Party and they have become center-left!!!
From Wiki: The LDP is not to be confused with the now-defunct Liberal Party, which merged with the Democratic Party of Japan, the main opposition party, in November 2003.

Ah Jacques, if you believe in Keynesian economics, you are not a Conservative!!!!

[Japanese][LDP]Factions

Main article: Factions in the Liberal Democratic Party (Japan)
The LDP has 3 major factions:
[edit]Heisei Kenkyukai (from the Liberal Party - Right Liberal)
Supported by local farmers, the construction industry, blue-collar workers, the defense industry, Japan Post workers, and discriminated village peoples.
This faction led economic development from 1960 to 1988. They promote international cooperation with China and Korea, a Gasoline Tax, construction of Highways/Shinkansen (Bullet Train), and protection of small farmers, Japan Post workers and discriminated peoples.
Founded by Diplomat Shigeru Yoshida. Succeeded by Eisaku Satō, Kakuei Tanaka, Ryutaro Hashimoto, Shigeru Ishiba.
[edit]Kouchi Kai (from Liberal Party - Keynesian economics and Right Liberal)
Supported by the established Liberal party of the bureaucracy, white-collar workers, doctors, small merchants and small factory people.
This faction led economic development from 1960 to 1988. They promote international cooperation with China and Korea, a Government bond/Consumption Tax for National Medical care and National Banks which financially support small firms, as well as Free trade Policy.
Founded by Diplomat Shigeru Yoshida. Succeeded by Hayato Ikeda, Kiichi Miyazawa, Sadakazu Tanigaki, Makoto Koga.
[edit]Seiwa Seisaku Kenkyukai (from Democratic Party - Nationalist)
Supported by Keidanren (keiretsu), established Authoritarian bureaucracy, war widows from WW2.
This faction promotes decreasing taxes for high income taxpayers, decreasing taxes for large companies, depending on the US for national defense issues, visits to Yasukuni Shrine in order to garner support from Nationalist voters without any special interest payments, returning the constitution to support the political system of the pre-WWII era, decreasing road/railway construction, decreasing medical care, eliminating overtime pay for white-collar workers, changing permanent employment to temporary employment, eliminating labor unions, free trade for car exports, removing protection for small farmers, privatization of Japan Post and the layoff of Japan Post workers.[citation needed]
1955 GHQ Changed their policy from Anti-Fascist to Anti-Communist, and released Nobusuke Kishi (A-class War Criminal, a member of Hideki Tōjō's Militarist Cabinet, and Grandfather of Shintaro Abe) from Sugamo Prison. Kishi founded the Japan Democratic Party (No relation to the current JDP)
The faction was suppressed by Heisei Seisaku Kenkyukai and Kochikai from 1960 to 1990 but because of a failure of the Heisei Seisaku Kenkyukai and Kochikai leadership it led the LDP from 2002 to 2008, mainly under Junichiro Koizumi.
Founded by Nobusuke Kishi. Succeeded by Takeo Fukuda, Junichiro Koizumi, Shinzō Abe, Yasuo Fukuda.
