I wonder if this has anything to do with the crack down on illegal aliens at their plants? The illegals would not throw their gloves in the sausage mix, would they?

Smithfield recalls 38,000 pounds of sausage
The Associated Press
Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 | 5:35 p.m.

Smithfield Packing Co. is recalling about 38,000 pounds of pork sausage that may contain small pieces of plastic, likely from gloves.

The Agriculture Department's Food Safety and Inspection Service reports that the Virginia company recalled certain containers of a product called "Gwaltney mild pork sausage roll."

The sausage was produced on Jan. 11 and was distributed in Alabama, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas. The problem was discovered after the company received two consumer complaints. There have been no reports of injury.

Consumers with questions about the recall should call 877-933-4625.

I helped out a young lady who was having trouble restarting her car at the gas station. He was just cranking away so I went over and asked her to turn her key completely off, the, with out starting, turn the key on, wait one second and start. And it did!!!
I explained to her that all cars with electronic ignitions are run by computers and some times they goof up and will not run. And that by turning the key "off" and the "on", you reboot the car's computer.
No, I am not a computer genius. But I sure enjoyed it when her car stared in two seconds and the look on her face when it did.

Oh, a couple of weeks ago the nice looking car pulls up to me in a parking lot. The were were all nicely dress black folks and they were asking me for directions and then I noticed their GPS and asked them if they knew how to us it. They said yes but it did not work most of the time.
I then suggested they sick it to their windshield. I explained that the signal from the satellites could not go through the roof of their car but it could go through their glass windshield.
They did, and it was working. Like I said, they were driving a nice car and they were not dressed like ghetto people and he sounded like he was educated. But many "educated" people lack commonsense!

I have asked Jacques three times already to clarify why guns sold in other states had anything to do with the gun violence in Shitcago especially that Wash. DC is at it's gun violence rate is at a %50 YEAR LOW!!!
<quoted text>
You still don't get it. Washington DC is mostly a ghetto and most of the rich people live in certain area so that is not the reason why gun crime is at a 50 year low.
The problem with Shitcago is the cops will not go into a project unless they have to where as in DC the cops patrol the high crime areas. In Atlanta the cops also avoid the ghettos and the crime rates are high. But when there is a sports game or concert down town, there are 20 cops at every MARTA stop. WHY?
Well, the rich people want to stay rich and they run the sport, concerts, etc. and if the customers and if the customers won't come because of the high crime rate, the rich people loose money.
Now people who live in projects deserve police protection too but they usually don't get it so that is when you have little girls getting shot in the back like what happened in Shitcago four weeks ago. It is not a gun problem per say, it is a law enforcement problem.

YOU don't get it. If Wahsington IS a ghetto, then it makes even more sense to have gun controls, and since the suburbs are fairly well-off, they don't have to sell guns to the residents of the so-called Washington ghetto.
You know, all of this talk of ghettos, to the point where police won't go in unless... it's something that is foreign to us here. A few years back, when a niece of mine was working as a bus tour guide to finance her studies, she often had American tourists who would ask her to take them on a bus tour of the ghetto where the cops don't go. She had to move heaven and earth to convince most of them that there was no such place. And our capital , our Washington, so to speak, well, never mind.
There you go again with "gun control". It only controls guns of law abiding citizens. Bad guys will always get guns. What is different between Shitcago and DC these days is that DC is going after bad guys and locking them up.
In Shitcago the cops only protect upscale hosing areas and allow the poor people to be intimidated by criminals.
Yep, you will never get it. You think you can stop a war simply by pulling out (like you did in Vietnam) and you think you can stop crime by taking guns away form law abiding citizens.
You end wars by kicking the crapola out of the bad guys and the same in war. Just look at the Korean War. It has not ended and the North is still a treat to the south and since Bill Clinton allowed the North to develop nuclear weapons, there situation is even worse.

And right away you suspect low-income wage earners. Never the big boys and their total lack of quality control. Or the fact that THEY EMPLOY ILLEGAL ALIENS. Nothing on that. Let the big companies regulate themselves, they're better positioned to do this, is the Repub business credo, piously followed by GWB and his sycophants. How many meat and produce recalls in the last year all over the US and Canada? And it's all the illegal aliens' fault? Of course.
