I've seen Reagan. I've watched Reagan. I've followed Reagan.

I liked him, a down-to-earth approachable man, witty, great sense of humour. One of the best speakers ever, as good or better than Clinton, now THAT'S a speaker. USA-Canada relations were at their nadir and mutually-beneficial when he was president. And far from dumb as some critics would say. But, I still think he didn't have the right stuff, the all-around knowledge to be president.

But,unlike LRS and his in-denial birfoon birther ilk, I knew Reagan was president, that a majority elected him and that democracy, the rule of law, and the constitution would make intelligent and respectful people respect the decision of said majority.

Like all Presidents, I agreed with some of his policies and disagreed with others. IMO He is probably the most misunderstood of any recent President - with FauxCons (like our Birfer Brethren and the TPublicans) ascribing deeds, accomplishments and characteristics to the man that have no basis in fact while many extreme Leftists have very selective memory as well.

U.S. Spent a Whopping $2.2 Billion Last Year on Obama Phones
12 February 201

The U.S. government spent about $2.2 billion last year to provide phones to low-income Americans, but a Wall Street Journal review of the program shows that a large number of those who received the phones haven’t proved they are eligible to receive them.

The Lifeline program—begun in 1984 to ensure that poor people aren’t cut off from jobs, families and emergency services—is funded by charges that appear on the monthly bills of every landline and wireless-phone customer. Payouts under the program have shot up from $819 million in 2008, as more wireless carriers have persuaded regulators to let them offer the service.

Rogue Moron, maybe by now you should have figured out that the message is complete and utter garbage. All that needs be done is to point and laugh at the sources and those who promulgate the garbage; i.e., you.

U.S. posts $3 billion budget surplus for January
(Reuters)- The budget posted a surprise surplus in January for the first time in five years, as the Treasury likely benefited from a windfall when payroll tax cuts expired.

It that's so, how come, in spite of old year 4th quarter tax payments rec'd in Jan, 2013, this is the first surplus in 5 years? And may I say, the first surplus since, let's see, 2002. Oh, who was the president in 2002 and did he ever have another surplus in his last 6 years? Two surpluses? No. One surplus? NO.
