And there are people in this country that somehow think passing ANOTHER LAW banning guns would protect us from someone like this. If you haven't noticed, people like this are not concerned about breaking laws - they only care about fulfilling their own twisted agenda. The only people that a gun ban law would impact are the LAW ABIDING CITIZENS, which will only serve to cripple the ability to protect ourselves. If you agree with this, please re-post. If not, read it again and see if it does not make a wee bit of sense.

Where did he say we should abolish gun laws? How about just enforce current gun laws?
I think it is funny when an atheist quotes religious people. Maybe you chose Rabbi Heschel because he was a .... socialist!!!
Caught in the act of stupidity, Rouge now attempts to substitute one stupidity for another as he entirely missed the point.

Why don't we just enforce toothless ill-conceived laws created in a good public policy vacuum?

Surely you jest.

<><><>< ><><>

Either you agree or disagree with what Rabbi Heschel said. If you disagree, you are free explain your departure from his reasoning. Calling him a socialist is simply ad hominem claptrap that has nothing to do with the rightness or wrongness of the quote.

Capisce?

BTW, what atheist who quoted Rabbi Heschel are you referring to? Or RU ASSuming again?

Well, with Rogue, it's this way : You quote the Scriptures word for word, or you quote a person of the cloth word for word, and if Rogue or LRS don't like what you quoted, even though it's all there, black on white, you are an atheist. Simple. Like, if you support Obama, you are anti-American.

See today's Hartford Courant.

According to Rouge logic,(one point on a graph = trend, if not scientific law) this proves the vast majority of politically motivated crime is committed by Obama haters.

You get a small jar of peanut butter, with no bread or crackers to put it on, and two small boxes of corn chex to last a family of three up to potentially up to 2 weeks or more if help actually even comes at all.
You also get 2 pints or quarts of fake milk as well.
The local Kroger's shelves are becoming bare as we speak.

Oh, tell us a couple of the lies.
To say he'd fix the economy in 4 years and not achieving it as yet is not a lie,(as 6 months before the election, he had no idea how bad it was), any more than saying the weatherman predicted sun and we got rain is a lie. That's an analogy, btw.
Oh, "an" , which I've just used, reminds me. I said it was an adjective? And you responded LMAO. Have you looked it up and do you have the results? Or, better yet, why the "adjective, LMAO"? And don't say you've replied, you haven't. Now, THAT would be another lie.
Grammarians consider it an adjective. Personally, I don't agree. An adjective is descriptive. Technically, it is an adjective.

A usurper has killed this once free and vibrant country.
No one is hiring, many more companies plan to close their doors, such as Best Buy, Kmart, Sears and J.C. Penny to name a few.
Wake up. Those stores, some of them, are closing because more and more people are buying online. Nothing to do with Obama. Employmnt is shifting elsewhere.

I guess Obama never heard of our First Amendment! It is like predicting the winner of yesterday's Super Bowl. They make an educated guess.

S&P says U.S. to file civil lawsuit over ratings
Reuters –

(Reuters)- Standard & Poor's on Monday said it expects to be the target of a U.S. Department of Justice civil lawsuit over its ratings of mortgage bonds prior to the recent financial crisis.
The lawsuit against the McGraw-Hill Cos unit focuses on its ratings in 2007 of various U.S. collateralized debt obligations (CDO), S&P said.
It would be the first federal enforcement action against a credit rating agency over alleged illegal behavior tied to the financial crisis.
"A DOJ lawsuit would be entirely without factual or legal merit," S&P said in a statement. "The DOJ would be wrong in contending that S&P ratings were motivated by commercial considerations and not issued in good faith."
The Justice Department was not immediately available for comment.

Well, I'd rather take it from grammarians if you don't mind than you, no offence. I did say "an" was an adjective, you went LMAO, and "and" was a conjunction. In french, the equivalent of "an" (le, la or un(e)) is an article. Would it be an article to you then, as that is not descriptive? Webster says it's an article and he is coloquially correct. But as I stick with L'académie francaise for all that has to do with correct French, I stick with Oxford for English. Nothing amiss asserting that "an" is an article if you like, but try to refrain from LMAO'ing when someone uses the Queen's English. Remember George Bernard Shaw's words on American English, very sobering indeed.

Sue the bastards. Was it not Standard and Poor that rated the mortgage market solid as a rock jjust before it fell totally apart? That firm is more poor than standard.
