Assault style weapons? So, they're really not assault weapons. Adam slipped through the cracks of our sub-standard mental health system. That's why this happened. At least place the blame where it belongs.
WOW, that has nothing to do with Rogue Moron's unattributed BS.

From what Fox News is reporting, I have no problem as lifting the gay ban will leave the issue up the the local chapters.
I was an active boy scout in a troop sponsored by a Methodist church and if they do not want gays in their troop, they should have the right to do so. And if the want gays, they can do that too..
But what I object to in this piece is that the Wash. Post could not resist inserting Obama in to it. What does Obama have to do with the Boy Scouts? But the Wash. Post has to make a positive connection to help give Obama some credit for it.

Boy Scouts may reverse national ban against gays as members, leaders
Posted by Diana Reese on January 29, 2013

History’s being made this month. Last week, President Barack Obama became the first president to use the term “gay” in reference to sexual orientation in an inauguration speech. And on Monday the Boy Scouts of America — which successfully fought against allowing gays into its ranks all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2000 — said it may reverse its policy next week.

Well, except for Foxnews.com and WND.com innuendoes and calumny on Obama, there is not much you've heard of, now is there?
Will you have the fortitude to read the following? From Hurricane Archives, NBC News (the lame press). Oh, I was off,not 100 doctors that were offered. It was 1,600.
Katrina aid from Cuba? No thanks, says U.S.
America welcomes foreign help, except from an old Cold War foe
Roberto Leon / NBC News
Although it is unlikely they will be going anywhere, Havana doctors Luis Sauchay and Delvis Marta Fernandez prepare their knapsacks of emergency medical supplies for Katrina victims.

HAVANA — Dr. Luis Sauchay is the kind of hands-on physician you want in an emergency.
Though relatively young at 34, Sauchay has chalked up more than a decade of practicing hardship medicine.
Right out of medical school, he spent two years on the high seas, the only doctor for hundreds of fishermen aboard an industrial vessel.
During two other years, he cared for the sick and forgotten in an understaffed African clinic, treating countless cases of tuberculosis and cholera.
For the last five years, he has been the local family doctor for 200 working-class families in Havana’s Párraga neighborhood.
And after last December’s tsunami, Sauchay joined a Cuban medical brigade to comfort the shell-shocked in Sri Lanka.
So it was no surprise when just a day after Katrina decimated the Gulf Goast that Sauchay volunteered to help victims even though it means leaving his wife alone with their 2-month-old son.
.
“I can do a lot of good there,” he stressed,“because I have years of experience dealing with this type of catastrophe.”
Sauchay, though, may never get the chance to prove his worth. Despite Bush administration assurances that international aid offers will be kept free of politics, Cold War tensions seem to be freezing out help from Cuba.
Thanks, but no thanks
In separate Washington press briefings, both the White House and State Department spokesmen this week downplayed the Cuban government’s offer to send some 1,600 medics, field hospitals and 83 tons of medical supplies to ease the humanitarian disaster.
State Department spokesman Sean McCormack asserted last week that the Cuban medical brigade would probably not be needed since there has been a “robust response from the American medical community.”
It was 1,600 UNLICENCED Doctors, nurses and medical aides. If countries want to refuse our medical professionals access to their countries, it is their decisions. The ONLY reason why you are bringing this up is because bus was the president!!!

Obama signed into law the FY2009 Budget and all of the Continuing Resolutions. He also signed into the new income tax law and ObamaCare which is the largest tax increase in American history.

Did you note the Mount Pinatubo eruption effect in the early 1990's?
The Hawaiian volcanic eruptions of the past 40 years is mostly a lava event with very little ash or aerosols whereas Mount Pinatubo was the exact opposite with a tremendous amount of ash and aerosols like sulfur-dioxide.
Also, the Arctic Ozone hole of the Winter of 1991-92 was the largest ever recorded and the following year it returned to normal even though we were still producing CFC's in most countries and places like China are still producing CFC's. Silly Libtards, CFC's never caused nor efected the size of the Arctic and Antarctic Ozone Holes.

The Zone Holes over the Arctic and Antarctic were discovered in the late 1970's by polar-orbit satellites and, as usual, when something new and mysterious is found Libtards assume it is bad and it must be caused by evil mankind!!!
Silly Libtards, the Ozone wholes are caused by the poles themselves. The South Pole pushes the Ozone away while the North Pole suck it down to ground (water) level. And during their respective Winter months, no new Ozone is made by solar radiation.

I remember when the ash was so bad that airliners were having to re-route their flights. Yea, Hawaii is virtually all lava. It's the explosions that really get nasty.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Taurus

You have a very high opinion of someone today. In fact, you're really impressed with them and you'll probably sing their praises to anyone who'll listen. If you meet someone for the first time now, you'll be very impressed and this will never change throughout your relationship. But try not to idealize them into something they're not.
