Where was the DJIA in April 2009? What was the unemployment rate in July 2009? DJIA has gained close to 6,000 points since Obama took over. Unemployment has gone from 10.5 to 7.8% in 4 years. In a mere year with GWB, from 20076 that you quote to end of 2008, DJIA collapsed, lost 5,000 points. Bravo.<quoted text>
Well Fake GB, why do you assume I hate seeing good news? All I know there is plenty of bad news for Obamanomics.
Our DJIA is still over a thousand point from it's high in Nov. 2007 and that ain't good.
We still have a real unemployment rate of about 11% and 23 million Americans are still unemployed and that ain't good either.
Our poverty rate is over 15% and it has not been that high since 1967, and that is surely not good news.
Does the truth hurt your ears? Now, can you contest any of my points?
Now that it's 7.8, you say the real number is more likely 11%. You are probably right. BUT, you can't have it both ways. When Bush's unemployment rate was 6%, what was the real number? 9, 10%? And when it was 10.5% in July 2009, fully GWB's legacy, not Obama's a mere 5 months in power, what was the real rate ? 16, 17%? Come off it, remember rendering onto Caesar...you said it.
