Mitt Romney Got… 47 Percent
By Z. Byron Wolf | ABC OTUS News

On the same day lawmakers count the electoral votes on Capitol Hill, officially certifying President Obama's victory in the Electoral College, the AP released a tabulation of official presidential votes from all 50 states.
As tabulated by the AP, Romney got 47.2 percent of the full presidential vote.
He did a bit better - 48.0 - if you just look at the two top candidates.
That number - 47 percent - resonates in the context of the race because of Romney's infamous " 47 percent " comments that seemed to have an effect on the race.

Ann Dunham, late in pregnancy decided to take a joy ride to Kenya. She knew that a star would appear above her birth hut, presaging her child’s destiny. He could not become POTUS without being born under the star in Kenya. But the three wise men gave her an invisibility cloak to smuggle her newborn back into the US under the noses of Customs and Immigration officials. After getting a birth certificate in Hawaii with the help of co-conspirators, they decided to steal a Social Security number just for laughs, even though they already had the birth certificate, just for the thrill of it.
Have a nice LSD trip, honey.
Plausible as can be if one's a birther.

Do you know Speaker Boehner? He leads the republican majority in the House. Obama immediately signed off emergency and immediate aid to the beleaguered hours after Sandy hit but long-term aid is the House's responsibilithy. Long-term aid to the distressed New Jersey, NY and Conn residents cannot be given outright by the president . It has to be voted by the House. So, who's been the speaker since Sandy devastated the East coast? Who's been doing zilch about voting an aid package? What's more, who adjourned the House, at the same time swatting away the aid package, leaving it to be dealt with by the new House of Representatives? Then facing outrage, during the Christmas season to boot, and, ashamed at the criticism, he called back the House to vote a part of the appropriation.

You boast of knowing a lot about your country. You don't. You just demonstrated again how you choose hate for Obama over common sense. You definitely don't measure up.

Gérard Despardieux, about whom I know much more than you is :

1) a great actor
2) a humerous, witty, self-deprecating person
3) a great oenophile, also owns two vineyards (let him move them to Russia...

He is also :

A) naive
B) an ungrateul s.o.b. He is a multi-millionaire who made over 75% of his fortune from French audiences and, most importantly, from a French-govt heavily-state-financed film industry

That he would laud Russian democracy shows the extent of his greed and naivety. Everyone except American er hmm Pravda Lady knows the extent of Russian crackdowns on journalists and dissidents - and the mafia-style execution of some who have defied Russian leadership.

The tax rate in Russia is 15%. Would you compare the average Russian's living style with the French's, Rogue? Not even close.

Putin is doing this as pure showmanship. He ignores the fact that Depardieu was in Chechnya last year cheering on the violent Chechnyans' revolt and armed struggle against Moscow. Depardieu, on the other hand, is naive to think that Putin is doing this out of pure kindness. Putin's massacre, imprisonment and torture of Chechnyans are well-known.

You compare tax evaders from France and impending insignificant tax hikes on the rich in the U.S. French multi-multi millionnaires pay 75% taxes. What's the U.S.'s highest rate, 35%? You love to compare apples and oranges, thinking that everyone on this thread is haplessly uninformed. You're walking on a swinging tight rope even discussing U.S. current affairs, so please stay out of European stuff, it's not up your alley. At all.

Right on! People buy guns to collect them just like people collect stamps, coins, knives etc.. etc.. When you start telling people what they can and cannot have then you have a socialist Government. Why don't we make cocaine, meth and LSD illegal? That will surely take them off the streets! Do you think? If banning guns worked, Washington, DC and New York City and Chicago would be the safest cities in the country. Since 1976, it's been illegal in Washington, DC to own any handguns or to keep any type of gun in your home unlocked and fully assembled. However, Washington, DC is the murder capital of the United States next to Chicago and Detroit.
New York City has had severe gun control laws since 1911, yet it also ranks among the most dangerous places in the country. In both cities, violent criminals can easily obtain the most deadly weapons on the streets within minutes.

Blaming an inanimate object who ignores facts and liberally uses name-calling as a discussion tool is just that, you, namely an inanimate object.

I brought up neighbouring no-gun laws around a city that has gun laws and you just ignored it. How about a parable as you and some of your birhter friends are as clueless as the apostles and have to be spoken to in childrens' most basic words . Here it is : Let's say you forbid your child to have matches or lighters in his possession as he is has shown to be a budding pyromaniac, has tried to set his home on fire a number of times. So, no matches (like, no guns. So far so good?).But your boy has a neigbour friend who loves fire, comes to play with him at his home all the time. One day, house burns down. How come? He had a no-match policy. Matches didn't burn the house down, the neighbour boy did. Are you following, LRS? No? DOH.

Only phantasmagoric birthers would "moniker" themselves into "Professor, Scholar and Justice", the biggest jokes in the universe. And you call yourself a professor! Ha ha.

Yes, those damn gun laws. How well they compare with stamps and coins when it comes to acts of violence.

FOXNEWS.COM and WND.COM BREAKING NEWS :

NEW YORK : Little old lady attacked and seriously wounded by stamp collector in broad daylight. Nasty stamp collector used a $1.50 and a 0.50 cent stamp to attack innocent old woman and rob her. He hit her several times with his stamps, necessating hospitalization with permanent stamp cancellation stamp etched on her dear old forehead. Who will have the courage to stop these stamp attackers dead in their tracks?

Chicago : Man robs bank at coin-point. Yes, hooded man walked up to teller and handed a note saying he had a concealed coin in his pocket and if she knew what was good for her, should hand over her drawer full of bills. Authorities are increasingly worried about this rash of "coin" - threratening bank holdups. Citizens are warned to be vigilant, specially of anyone in possession of a heavy but rare 50-cent or worse, much worse, JFK dollar coin.

... and thus was launched what history shall forevermore refer to as "the Great Birfistani Crusades" wherein a gaggle of delusional morons (The Birfistani) determined that they would bring about the demise of a duly elected President and thereby set the course of a Nation back some 200 years. These magnificent keyboard warriors struck forth from their basements and closets all across the swamps and sand dunes of the nation and constructed windmill after windmill. They attached the label “Made in Kenya” on the underside of each windmill and then launched their valiant attack! The repeated this process some 192 times, and in each instance, the very windmill that they had constructed kicked their collective asses. Undaunted, they vowed to fight on, secure in the knowledge that one day – some four years from now – they would run out of material for building windmills and then victory would be assured.

Jacques, we have thousands of gun laws. 90% of all murders by guns are done by known criminals who can not legally have guns. The way to stop this madness is lock up all violent criminals.
Oh, there are various federal laws that apply to ALL states. How is an honest citizen to protect themselves? That is were the 2nd Amendment comes in.
In the recent shootings in New York State the gunman got his guns from a straw buyer and she has been arrested and will be prosecuted!
And your responses is, we need more laws. We already have way to many that all they do is disarm law abiding citizens. That is Shitcagoes problem!!!

I'll quote you on this one, namely : "90% of all murders by guns are done by known criminals who can not legally have guns." Please back that up with reliable statistics as it is well-known that the majority of victims were either related or known to their assailants. Criminals rarely kill innocent victims, they kill each other (as I've often said, not a bad thing). All the massares at schools, work places in the last few years were not perpretated by criminals - they all of them had no criminal reocrds. But they could easiy get guns though.

I digress. Please show me, give me a link where it will be confirmed that 90% of all murders by guns are done by known criminals. How do you come up with such numbers? Why do you do this? You know I'll challenge you on it. Now you're embarrassed.

Last thing? Protect oneself? Well, if the population's not armed, where's the need to protect oneself? The more guns, the more protection you need, no? I harp back to 6 to 20 to one fewer gun murders in Western Europe, Japan (less than 1% gun murders last year),Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, etc.

I asked you to prove that guns were seized in the UK from its citizens. I'm still waitng. Now waiting for that 90%

Your emotions have the upper hand, making you rather fiery and fervent. That's great if you're hoping for a passionate encounter with you-know-who, because you'll be really hot stuff. However, in non-sexual situations you could become somewhat tempestuous and irritable, especially if you suspect that things aren't going the way you want.
