Hey Just Saying you out there?

Peter Lanza is a vice president of taxes for GE Energy Financial Services

Despite going to ground over the weekend, Peter Lanza took the time to release a statement earlier on Saturday regarding his son's involvement in the shocking tragedy.
'We too are asking why,' he said in a statement.
'Like so many of you, we are saddened, but struggling to make sense of what has transpired.
'Our family is grieving along with all those who have been affected by this enormous tragedy.'
He said that all living members of the Lanza family, including himself and Adam's older brother Ryan, have been fully cooperating with police and plan to help in any way that they can as the repercussions of the shooting are felt.
'No words can truly express how heartbroken we are,' he said in the statement.

As the rich flee France!!!

French paper says actor Gerard Depardieu wants to surrender passport in dispute over taxes; By Elaine Ganley, The Associated Press |

PARIS - Gerard Depardieu, one of France's best-known actors, has chastised his country's Socialist prime minister for insulting remarks over his decision to move to tax-friendly Belgium and said in an open letter published Sunday that he's turning in his passport.
The letter, which the weekly Le Journal du Dimanche said was penned by Depardieu, quickly propelled him into the spotlight, not for his acclaimed acting skills but for raising the sensitive issue of tax exiles as France looks to fill state coffers with a stiff tax on the rich.
"We no longer have the same country. I'm a true European, a citizen of the world," Depardieu wrote in the letter. He said his 2012 tax bill 85 per cent of his revenue is fully paid.
Depardieu, who turns 64 this month, said he has worked since the age of 14, first as a printer, and that in last 45 years he has paid 145 million ($190 million) in taxes.
"I hand over my passport to you and my social security card, which I have never used," the letter said, referring to Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault.
Last week, Ayrault called Depardieu "pathetic" and "unpatriotic" for the actor's decision to move to Nechin, a Belgian village barely a mile (1.6 kilometres) across the border from Lille in northern France. Nechin has drawn other high-earning French residents.
The letter drew quick reaction but little sympathy.
Culture Minister Aurelie Filippetti said she was "scandalized" by Depardieu's decision to turn in his passport. "French citizenship, it's an honour," she said on BFM-TV. "It is rights and duties, too, among them to be able to pay taxes."

When did the shooting stop at Sandy Hook elementary school? When more guns showed up. The perp apparently shot himself when the cops showed up.
Just think, what if just one of those teachers had a concealed carry permit!!!
Guns save lives. That is why cops carry them!

Idiot... he knew he was going to shoot himself.. He was not intimidated by police.. He was happy they showed up.. Like all gun nuts you don't think straight. All you want is publicity.
Your penises are small or deformed and you think a gun will make you normal.
""Guns save lives"". You are a complete fool, idiot, and psychopath.. if you think that.
How did all those innocent children die.??
Hopefully, you will be in the next theatre or school where one of your type, blows your head off.
Idiot, he had killed all the people in one class room and then moved to another classroom and did the same there. We he realized that the cops had him cornered and he could not move to another classroom, he then killed himself. If he thought he could continue to move from classroom to classroom unopposed, he would have continued to kill.
Preventing a murder is intangible. You can never count lives saved as you can count lives lost. Again, if cops did not carry lethal weapons, how would they stop someone that is trying to kill others?
Please note you wished evil on me and I have not wished evil on you. That is a typical Libtardian response. How sad.

Oh, you can lock a door but someone can shoot the door open. Locking down the school only slowed the shooter. He shot his way through the front door of the school and then through the doors of two class rooms. Sooooo, if the cops did not show up with more guns, how would you stop him?

Why, because the only network carrying the Ben Ghashy incident was Fox News. Yes, I said "Ben Ghasy" as most Libtards think it is a person and not a place. You should have listened to Waters World when he was asking people on the street about Benghazi, most people had no idea that it was not a person!
Yes, I know what fire arms can do to people but it is you Libtards who let the loony people out of the mental hospitals so you need to blame yourself!

Woman who was beaten, raped, kills attacker after he threatens child

Rape victim kills attacker. Threat to also go after daughter, 6, spurs bloody struggle:

He came to her house wearing a ski mask and carrying a shotgun.

He beat the woman, police say, and raped her.

But when the woman's attacker an old high school friend she had spurned threatened to rape her 6-year-old daughter, the woman went for a butcher knife.

That prompted a violent back-and-forth struggle.

She stabbed him. He stabbed her.

They fought for perhaps as long as 20 minutes, rolling around on the kitchen floor of the woman's Cherokee County home.

When it was over, 38-year-old Gerald A. Lee of Woodstock lay dead in the yard.

Police found the woman badly injured. A helicopter took her to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

Her daughter, though, was safe.

That was what Linda Smith (a pseudonym) was thinking after two thugs broke into her Oklahoma apartment. One was holding a weapon (she initially thought it was a knife but it turned out to be a screwdriver) at her throat, and the other was pacing back and forth while holding her purse and demanding her money and valuables. She screamed, and was told if she screamed again, she'd be dead.

She was doing as police recommend in robberies comply with a robber's demands. But her Lady Smith & Wesson .38 special, which she carries by permit, was hidden in her purse and the purse was being held by one of the attackers.

Then the situation, suddenly, got much, much worse: One of the robbers demanded that she take off her clothes.

"Come on, what are you waiting for," he told her as he started to yank on her sweatpants, trying to take them off.

Here's everything you need to know about firearms and ammunition

Smith pleaded for her safety and distracted the attackers by telling them she would get her money, which was "in my purse."

The robbers inexplicably allowed her to drop to her knees and crawl across the floor to her purse, which the second attacker had dropped.

She reached inside, and the first shot was clear of the muzzle and into the torso of one of the attackers before she even pulled the weapon clear of the purse. Four more shots followed shortly and, in the end, one of the attackers was dead and the second was hospitalized facing a murder rap for having participated in a felony in which someone died.

Smith, in an exclusive interview with WND, explained she comes from a family that believes in self-reliance and courage.

"I choose to carry a concealed firearm, because even though I am immensely grateful for the protection from our police departments, I realize they're not God, so they can't be everywhere at once.

"Deadly situations can happen in the blink of an eye," she said. "If you are not proactive you are a vulnerable target."

Smith, an Endowment member of the National Rifle Association, said she's carried a gun for almost half a decade, but never dreamed she'd be in a situation where she'd have to use it to defend her life. But she's glad the training she's had over the years kicked in at a time when it saved her from injury, or possibly much worse.

"Ironically, I thought I was really prepared," she told WND. "I remember that night and saw my life flash before my eyes. Darreon Carter, the man who was attempting to rape me, had me pinned down to my couch, with a knife at my throat. I knew I didn't have access to my gun. I thought to myself, I really need to have a firearm for my home, and directly on my person."

Rachel Parsons, an official for the NRA, said, while Smith's case is among the more dramatic, there are similar scenarios that have been reported. But even more, there are many crimes that simply are not carried out because of the possibility that a "victim" is fully armed, she said.

"Woman shoots attacker with his own gun"
By T.J. WILHAM, Indiana Star-Press
June 29, 2001

MUNCIE - Confronted by an armed robber in her home early Thursday morning, a Muncie woman managed to shoot her attacker with his own gun, seriously wounding him.

Joel Williams Jr., 35, 301 E. First St.- whom police identified as the attacker - was listed in critical condition at Ball Memorial Hospital late Thursday.

Williams was shot in the torso, leg, arm and head by his intended victim, who was able to grab Williams's handgun while he tried to tie her up.
