In any given year, any team can win. Just look at 1944 and 1945 with the Army and Navy teams were one and two in football. But that was mostly because West Point and Annapolis was exempt from the DRAFT. Most college student had been drafted so most colleges had either had no teams those years or their teams we made up of 18 y/o. sick, lame and,,, gays.
Well, the sick, lame and,,, gays were not drafted by if you team is made up of sick, lame and,,,, gays, you probably will not win many games.

So, the holiday was founded on a moon calendar. Moon cycles are 29.5 days long. Solar are 364.2. The input doesn't divide properly. Hence the changing dates.

So, why the first SUNday AFTER the full moon AFTER the equinox?

Because the day was a celebration of the SUN. And you may think early astronomers were primitive, but they weren't stupid. It was a crowd control issue.

You needed to wait for a full moon to eliminate the possibility of an effing ECLIPSE durring my SUN GOD festival!
