To date no document expert has examined Oblama's original BC from Hawaii and claimed it to be authentic, not FB* experts, No one. The hospital listed on his So called BC refuses to confirm their hospital as his place of birth, and his people have refused to explain why every BC from that hospital at that same time has an official state seal and appropriate signatures at the bottom, all missing from the one posted by Oblama on his website.
To date NO Birther organization has even asked to see the physical copy of the birth certificate. If they do not ask for it, and if a court does not ask for it, then why should Obama take it to a document expert?
The fact remains that ONLY birther "experts"---who are not believed by Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, the National Review and the conservative secretary of state of Arizona---have made claims about Obama's birth certificate, and they have made their claims only about the image of the birth certificate and not asked to see the original. Well, there are without question problems with the pdf image of the birth certificate. Who ever said that the pdf image would be perfect??? But they did not ask to see the physical copy, the one with the seal on it---why do you suppose that they did not even ask???
If they had asked, and if the White House had turned them down, they could have reported that fact. So why did the birther organizations not even ASK politely to see the physical copy and promise to take it to a certified document expert such as members of the American Board of Forensic Document Examiners or the American Society of Questioned Document Experts or the Association of Forensic Document Examiners? Because, of course, if the real experts saw the physical copy they would say that it was authentic, and the birther myth would collapse.
Instead, the birther organizations and Orly Taite continue to quote people like Paul Irey, who keeps on insisting that Obama never attended Columbia College, even though Columbia University said that he did attend. And they quote nuts like Doug Vogt, who claims that he found the original altar of Abraham. But they do NOT quote such real authorities as:
Dr. Neil Krawetz, an imaging software analysis author and experienced examiner of questioned images, said:The PDF released by the White House shows no sign of digital manipulation or alterations. I see nothing that appears to be suspicious.
Nathan Goulding with The National Review:We have received several e-mails today calling into question the validity of the PDF that the White House released, namely that there are embedded layers in the document. There are now several other people on the case. We looked into it and dismissed it. Ive confirmed that scanning an image, converting it to a PDF, optimizing that PDF, and then opening it up in Illustrator, does in fact create layers similar to what is seen in the birth certificate PDF. You can try it yourself at home.
John Woodman, independent computer professional, repeatedly in his book and in various articles that the claims that Obamas birth certificate was forged were unfounded.
Ivan Zatkovich, who has testified in court as a technology expert, and consultant to WorldNetDaily: "All of the modifications to the PDF document that can be identified are consistent with someone enhancing the legibility of the document." And, by the way, when WND received Zatkovichs article that said that he found nothing wrong with Obamas birth certificate, WND simply did not publish it.
More importantly, the allegation that the birth certificate is forged is a side issue. The real issue is where Obama was born, and the officials of Hawaii of both parties, and the Index Data and the birth notices in the Hawaii newspapers in 1961 (sent to the papers by the DOH of Hawaii, which in 1961 was under a Republican governor) all show that he was born in Hawaii.
