Chicago woman Maria Carmen Dominguez was the victim of a deadly accident when she was fatally shot in the chest by a gun hidden in donation clothing at a thrift store.

Dominguez, 54, who worked at the Unique Thrift store in the 9300 block of South Ashland Avenue was sorting through donated clothing with another worker when the gun accidentally went off.

The unidentified co-worker later told police that the accident happened after he found a sock with something in it..
