L1: Give them 2 weeks -- three at the most. If their situation changed this is probably the length of time you would hope for.
L2: You need to tell him in no uncertain terms, "hands off!"
L3: It's probably past the time to get out, but getting out would be the thing to do.

LW1: I agree with both Red and squishymama. A good friend of mine once gave 4 weeks notice to an employer and was let go after 2 weeks. Do NOT tell the family that you are looking for another job. Do tell them that you enjoy working for them and leave it at that. People's lives and plans change all of the time and you do not owe them anything other than the standard 2 weeks notice. That should be plenty of time for them to make other arrangements.
