We have the Red Cross, every state has the National Guard, every city and town has it's own emergency team, Fire/EMS. Every town is full of people that can help each other out. Every disaster, people from all over the country get together and send supplies.

FEMA is just another Government entity that has no real purpose other then to eat tax money.

They did nothing after Katrina but give out money for tattoos and hookers.
