I agree with you,it is the same as a black person seeing a white person makes them angry.Racism is a double edged sword, works both ways.It is a shame that every race is somewhat racist, but that will never change.I do have to say that it has been "ramped up" since Obama has been in office and he is the cause,he plays it for votes.

Like most racists, my parents are lions in private and cowards in public. I love them but never embraced their ignorant ideology and even to this day, when their friends are visiting them, they still talk about black people like they are scum. Mind you, none of these people went to college so again, I think they are unsatisfied with their lives and simply jealous of successful black people whom they were taught (by their ignorant parents) were stupid and lazy. Clearly the Obamas are neither....so the envy continues.
Sounds like you are/were rebelling against your parents, who you didn't like...have you tried going muslim, wearing the full Bhurka? That will really get them. Or perhaps you just went hippie, beads and drugs and free love, and burned your bra....depending on your age, that would have been rough on them too. Had you been a male, you could have burned your draft card and sang protest songs...or, you could have demanded to be allowed to quit your piano lessons, that'll showem

Try watching a few runs of Hardcore Pawn out of Detroit and you will see these black women in action.I saw one where this black women was whooping her black boyfriend because the jewlery he was trying to pawn was only made of stainless steel and the pawn shop would not give them anything for the bracelet. This man was afraid to go near her.It is a common sight on this show for these women to call other people names and to make a scene when things don't go their way.If these women don't want to be stereotyped then they should try to act like an adult and not like a crazed foul mouthed animal.
They have been known to attack little old ladies on the bus also, when things were not going their way...and on the COPS type shows, it takes more than 1 cop to arrest them. Rough Trade.

I really don't think it is a "envy" thing.I think it is more that Obama plays the rich against the middle class and the poor, blacks against the whites and the hispanics against the whites and the blacks. The more he does it,the more the people are getting tired of it and the people(all races) are waking up to his agenda.

And if it was looked at through the "fair" eyes that liberals love to spout about everything else needing to be then you would have to admit that she has brought SOME of that upon herself. You don't go to a soup kitchen or homeless shelter wearing $500 tennis shoes, that is just ignorant and arrogant. Go to Walmart and buy an outfit that isn't worth a month's rent to those people, for crying out loud it's just common sense!!!! Second on her eating, well what is it that SHE made "her issue" during her husband's administration? What American people (especially kids) are eating. She is the reason that we have schools throwing away food that by the way those people at the soup kitchen would LOVE to have had, because the kids won't eat the crap, but hey....it's healthy right? Not too healthy when they CHOOSE to go without rather than eat it at all. She made food and eating healthy the big issue she was going attack while in the White House so she is "game" for any and all criticism as to what she eats! That is HER fault as well. And I haven't heard ANY criticism about her career or her time at Princeton other than that she went there, so apparently anything being said isn't that big deal because it's not being heard by alot of people anyway, at least not to the point that it's memorable. So although some of the criticism is just crap and people being mean, some of it is her fault and she has no right to whine about it.

Perhaps a bit harsh, but I have seen them in action, have you? If not, I suggest a few minutes on the channel in your area that shows the 'world's dumbest/scariest ___(fillin the blank)'. Sometimes its about dumb criminals, or dumb kids doing tricks on motorcycles, but once in a while, it will show a 'girl fight' in the ghetto, or on a bus, at a bar, or at school, and they are pretty rough, the men step back and cover their genitals, and watch the 'girls' duke it out.
I used to watch COPS.
They were always arresting
WHITE TRASH for, well, you
name it; rape, public intoxication,
prostitution, selling/doing/buying drugs
robbery, domestic abuse and on
and on and on.

I guess you wouldn't call them
animals. You'd call them your
white neighbors.

Black people call each other by the n-word, so what was your point? That your folks were racist, therefore they were "typical white folks"? So you can now deem every white household "racist" based on your personal experience? Even "successful black people" can be racist, and the Obamas are not exempt from the accusation because they are "successful" or because they are black.

When people criticize Bush, is it racist? Envy? Or where they just plain fed up with his politics? Do the same rules apply to Obama? If not, why not?

Perhaps it's your angry white men who have the problem?
My money is on you,(jealous, envious) angry beaver.
If you are so fed up with your own mediocrity, go to college,
like Michelle, and improve your life instead of being angry
at everyone who has more ambition and SUCCESS than you.
i agree with you. This is just more CRAP to help pimp the book the NY Times is pimping.

And as the First Lady commented "Who can write about what I feel? What third person can tell me what I feel?"

WaPo media reporter Erik Wemple has said that the NARRATIVE IN KANTOR'S BOOK "SUFFERS FROM THE LACK OF INPUT FROM THE PRINCIPALS."

The white House commented: "The book, an overdramatization of old news, is about a relationship between two people whom the author has not spoken to in years. The author last interviewed the Obamas in 2009 for a magazine piece, and did not interview them for this book," Schultz's statement reads. "THE EMOTIONS, THOUGHTS AND PRIVATE MOMENTS DESCRIBED IN THE BOOK, THOUGH OFTEN SEEMINGLY ASCRIBED TO THE PRESIDENT AND FIRST LADY, REFLECT LITTLE MORE THAN THE AUTHOR'S OWN THOUGHTS. These second-hand accounts are staples of every Administration in modern political history and often exaggerated."

Dad is dead.
Mom and I get along great.
She knows not to talk stupid
in front of me because my siblings
and I set her straight. She learned
to just keep her ignorant comments
to herself and I rarely see her
friends who, like I said, are too
cowardly to voice their ignorance
of other races in public. They
hide, like you, behind doors
or anonymity.....bunch of pussies.

"rebel".....bahahhah hahahha....that's
funny. How is worshipping some sky
god "rebelling"? Religion is for
ignorant people.

Reading her post about her parents, if I were a psychologist, I would diagnose it as 'white guilt'

In other words open herself up the criticism that would have surely come from the Reich-wing hate-mongers for being a hypocrite. And who but the Reich-wing hate mongers would have gone to the trouble to research the cost of her sneakers and use it as a talking point on their OS propaganda rags.
