How do you know its on tape? I hope it is, I would rather wait for the truth to come out before I start judging someone.

The sergeant was not holding him by the arm. Where the hell do you get your info from you moron? So I guess being arrested 15 times, and two for kidnapping, doesn't qualify as a real criminal. Yes tase him and make his body go very tight and press the gas even more. Man am I glad some of you guys aren't cops. If you like like the way police don't do their jobs then next time you or a family member need help don't call us. By the way the standards for being an officer in most suburbs are actually stricter than in Chicago.

The car was not pinned at the time of the shooting. Yes the media shows it pinned in, but how long do you think it took them to get there???? But hey the media is always right. If you believe that you are a bigger moron than I thought.

this is one bad case of 2 sides to every story. from what i know so far. the cops did what they had to do. it was a chase, records say he has had duis and has fleed before. he could be dangerous. he drove at them and they did what they were trained to do. i dont know how the officer was shot most likely a ricurshaid (sorry about the spelled) all i know is its hard enough for the officers and the family and friends. they dont need all this. and for mr nick chrystler, hes a punk from town who has been busted for drugs etc. he hates the cops so ofcourse hes not going to stick up for them.

another thing. has anybody seen what these officers have to go threw? they do there job very well. yes there are some bad ones. but most are good. the cop shot is a very nice man and a officer for the right reasons. they dont get credit for all the right things they do on a daily basis but the one time some kid says thats not what happened you all think there wrong? i hope you need them one day and the same cops come and save your life.

What about using excessive force? Is anybody justified when kills another person? From my own and several other people experience there is increasingly hostile attitude among police officers toward fellow citizens. Frequently we hear similar stories from several people. I was myself arrested for failing to take emmmissions test because I never received the notification, and in fact I was driving (unknowingly) with suspended drivers license, and because of that I should go to jail for up to one year. Where is the common sense? Politicians are treating their voters like a cattle.
Man was killed? There is no excuse, unless he had gun in his hand shooting at the officers! Every other situation can be handled without spilling blood. I think there is certain subculture created on purpose among police officers who view anybody and everybody as criminals.

all I have to say is when a police officer tries to pull you over, you stop if you try to ram them w/your car that is a threat, the cops were on the defense already we dont know what went down, for the most part most officers are on the up you have some bad but this guy had a crimanal record and could be violent. in one report his EX-wife said he had diabetes and that could cause him to be erratic, I'v had diabetes my whole life and even when its out of control, Im not out of control he also had a mental illness and if he were taking his meds maybe he could of controled himself alot of meds do help, there are alot of by-polar poeple out there that lead pretty close to normal if not normal lives I have a few friends that take their meds and are just fine they work and have familys so until you know the whole story you really cant judge thats all. and just because you have a mental illness that dosent mean you are or should be a crimanal.

u truly full of shit dude! Fist of all, you get several notices to do your emissions test; not just one. They remind you like one hundred times; not exactly but u get my drift. Secondly you don't go to jail if you don't do it. You didn't know your driver's license was suspended??????? Tell that to ur grandma; maybe she'll believe u.
I hear BS stories like urs all day long; so sick and tired of them.

To the people making fun of the police I can only say that the driver of the car was convicted of 5 DUIS.HE had no drivers liscense and his liscense was revoked twice before. He was driving erratically ran from the olice drove into uncoming traffic and in2006 was sent to jail for 5 years, but was released early. He refused to get out of his car and tried to run over the police. He was a diabetic and had mental problems but he drank and his family let him drive. Where does the fault lie on the individual. He has been involved with many other episodes with other police departments. Give me a break when youn blame the mayor and the police department.

You are absolutely right, being a person who suffers from diabetes is not a prelude to becoming a criminal. In this case however, having uncontrolled diabetes may have been a contributing factor in this individual's bahavior.

only a uneducated person would even consider making this statement I'v had diabetes my whole life Iam 49 years old and have never messed up on my driving or gotten arrested been a crimanal I lead a normal life mother of 3 grown up children, work a full time job, own a house, pay taxes so you think we should get killed by the police this guys diebetes did not make him act this way, what made him act this way was probably his uncontrolled mental illness or the fact that he was just a plain old crimanal and dosent abibe by the laws that we all had to abibe by. maybe you should do your research before you write such stupid things IGNORANCE is the worst illness out there and you have it.
