Daley drops out of race for Illinois governor

Former White House chief of staff William Daley abruptly dropped out of the race for Illinois governor on Monday, saying he wasn't sure he wanted to devote time to a long, hard campaign followed by four years in office.

Daley's have caused enough damage to Chicago , cook county and the state.

yea that working for something really turned him off.
he a democrat they are so used to just having things handed to them that actually working scares the hell of them.
Another translation is he saw the polls and he wasn't even going to finish last in this race, he was lagging behind the last place vote getter...
time to exit stage left and wait to be appointed to some high paying, no show, do nothing job in government like the other political hacks hanging around doing nothing at tax payers expense.
He will end up as the deputy director of the intergalactic butt kissing department at the international brother hood of amalgamated union butt kissers and storm door repair men local 696969696.
