Republicans Altered Benghazi Emails, CBS News Report Claims
One day after The White House released 100 pages of Benghazi emails, a report has surfaced alleging that Republicans released a set with altered text.
CBS News reported Thursday that leaked versions sent out by the GOP last Friday had visible differences than Wednesday's official batch. Two correspondences that were singled out in the report came from National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes and State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland.

Republican hypocrisy, again:
Republicans Split On Media Shield Law Amid Outrage Over Associated Press Records Seizure
Amid the outrage over the Justice Department probe, few Republicans have indicated they are committed to reporter protection. Many avoided taking a position on media shield legislation, saying they would have to see it first. They either reiterated their stance that the administration's actions were inappropriate, or deflected the issue entirely. Democrats in both the House and Senate have shown broad support for similar shield law measures in the past.

Republicans Altered Benghazi Emails
1- Maybe it's time for an investigation of the Republican party.
2- The solution to the problems (jobs) that we're facing is to vote out the Republicans and tea baggers in Congress.
#119001 May 17, 2013
You have proof of that?
YOu say we need a solution to jobs, that means you think the current administration is not doing anything about it.

Obama's IRS has had almost 5 years to audit/harass/incarcerate everyone right of center... yet there are still right-wingers out there! Obama & his IRS have failed miserably!
I'm calling for an investigation as to why the IRS hasn't destroyed everyone that didn't vote for Obama! No justice, no peace!
#119004 May 17, 2013
Read the newspaper.
The Republicans control the House and have blocked all attempts to create a jobs bill.
The IRS is the only agency (which it shouldn't be) that is trying to determine if tax-exempt groups are following the law. All this was created by the Citizens United determination of the SCOTUS. That finding was insane.

Sorry, nac, but your refusal to inform your self makes discussion impossible.
U.S. Commissioners of Internal Revenue
Mark W. Everson - 2003-2007 - Appointmented by George W. Bush
Douglas H. Shulman - 2008–2012 - Appointmented by George W. Bush
Steven Miller Nov 2012-May 2013 - Appointed Acting Commissioner by Barack Obama
How was Obama running the IRS for 5 years with Republican commissioners?

Spin, spin, spin, leetle lib prog propagandist ...
Targeting only the Obama & DNC's ideological enemies, joe, while freely handing out 504 (c) 1 certs to lib prog friends like candy the whole time, with no questions asked.
Read the papers, joe:
You don't even have your own side backing your ridiculously lame attempts at defending this outrage:
"Senior Democratic Sen. Max Baucus, who recently slapped Obamacare as a "train wreck," believes that the IRS scandal is just beginning and that "a lot more" damaging information will be revealed, likely at congressional hearings."
"I have a hunch that a lot more is going to come out, frankly," Baucus, whose pending retirement seems to have freed him up to speak bluntly, told Bloomberg's "Capitol Gains" TV show.
"We are in the midst of the worst Washington scandal since Watergate. The reputation of the Obama White House has, among conservatives, gone from sketchy to sinister, and, among liberals, from unsatisfying to dangerous. No one likes what they're seeing. The Justice Department assault on the Associated Press and the ugly politicization of the Internal Revenue Service have left the administration's credibility deeply, probably irretrievably damaged. They don't look jerky now, they look dirty. The patina of high-mindedness the president enjoyed is gone."
"Mr. Obama didn't need to pick up the phone. All he needed to do was exactly what he did do, in full view, for three years: Publicly suggest that conservative political groups were engaged in nefarious deeds; publicly call out by name political opponents whom he'd like to see harassed; and publicly have his party pressure the IRS to take action."
"Mr. Obama now professes shock and outrage that bureaucrats at the IRS did exactly what the president of the United States said was the right and honorable thing to do. "
Citizens United was a perfectly correct pro-free-speech. And now it's the law of the land, binding Soros and Media Matters and Hollywood/Eastern elite limo lib fat cat money right along with any other corporate free speech. Grow up and get over it.

Oh, little teddy's having a hissy fit. Your big "scandals" are going nowhere and you know it, dlckhead.
You guys will jump the shark in your glee and hypocrisy and everybody but tea-baggers and you will keep losing votes.
Buckle up teddy, it's gonna be a bumpy 2016 election for Repugs.
#119008 May 17, 2013
You guys will jump the shark in your glee and hypocrisy and ALL the tea-baggers and you will keep losing votes.
#119009 May 17, 2013
The right can't get traction on Benghazi with anybody but tea-baggers and teddy.
They don't want to peruse the AP story because most Rethugs like the idea of going after the press.(Personally I think that's the only story worth a hoot).
And when the whole IRS story unfolds (just beginning) it's gonna start pointing at Rethugs. And I mean aside from doctored versions of released evidence (isn't that a crime?). Oh, too bad. We haven't even gotten to the part where hear how those fake 501c's were doing politics rather than social work.
Citizen United was shilt and everyone with half a brain knows it except thugs like teddy. Money is what corrupts politics and adding more corrupts it more.

Why Allen West is a great Republican and will make a great fox news flunky:
1. West Is A Former Republican Official
2. West Compares His Opponents To Nazis
3. West Claimed Dozens Of Democrats Are Communists
4. West Has A History Of Anti-Islam Comments
5. West Invokes Slavery To Bash Democrats And Their "Plantation"
6. West Lobs Sexist Attacks
7. West Pushes Anti-Immigrant Hysteria
8. West Assaulted A Detainee
In 2003 West admitted, as Media Matters noted, that he "threatened to kill" an Iraqi detainee in his custody; watched "four of his soldiers from the 220th Field Artillery Battalion beat the detainee on the head and body"; and, according to military prosecutors, he "followed up on that threat" to kill the detainee by shooting near his head. He was eventually "stripped of his command after pleading guilty to assaulting an Iraqi detainee during interrogation."

"The new documents disprove claims by Obama spokesman Jay Carney, Hillary Clinton, and others that the White House and State Department had virtually nothing to do with rewriting the talking points. Carney maintained that officials from State and the White House were responsible for a “single adjustment” to the language. Clinton insisted that the intelligence community was the “principal decider” of what would be said. But the emails make clear that top White House and State officials played key roles in reshaping the CIA’s initial draft."
That's traction, joe.
"You were talking earlier about kind of dismissing the Benghazi issue as one that's just political and the president recently said it's a sideshow," said Woodward. "But if you read through all these e-mails, you see that everyone in the government is saying,'Oh, let's not tell the public that terrorists were involved, people connected to al Qaeda. Let's not tell the public that there were warnings.' I hate to show, this is one of the documents with the editing that one of the people in the state department said,'Oh, let's not let these things out.' And I have to go back 40 years to Watergate when Nixon put out his edited transcripts to the conversations, and he personally went through them and said,'Oh, let's not tell this, let's not show this.' I would not dismiss Benghazi. It's a very serious issue. As people keep saying, four people were killed. You look at the hydraulic pressure that was in the system to not tell the truth, and, you know, we use this term and the government uses this term, talking points. Talking points, as we know, are like legal briefs. They're an argument on one side. What we need to get rid of talking point and they need to put out statements or papers that are truth documents. Okay, this is all we know."
WOODWARD. That's Holy High Traction in DC, joe.
Unless it's money coming from your lib prog billionaire fellow ideologues like Soros, Hollywood fat cats, and Wall Street fat cats - then it's perfectly "good" money, right, joe?
See - your problem is you're standing there shouting this lib prog claptrap standing so deep in the now-obvious DNC/Obama bucket of political corruption and shyte you can't even tell how bad you stink of it anymore.
Keep flinging that poo on yourself defending the indefensible - we love it.
#119012 May 17, 2013
Joe foaming over in another perfect example of dramatic irony - priceless. And preciously clueless.
Go, joe! Flame on! Don't stop now - you're on a roll!
#119013 May 17, 2013
Pointing to Media Matters as some kind of objective source while fapping off to your usual reflexive brain-dead "fox news!" lib prog Tourette's?
You can't be real - tell the truth -'joe' is really just an elaborate Topix forrest gump put-on, right? You can't possibly be this stupid ...
#119014 May 17, 2013
And little teddy explodes. Pffft.
#119015 May 17, 2013
Old Tired Party just cannot stand that Obama won, again...and that the Dow is going up up up. Out of touch with the majority of Americans--they just refuse to get it.
#119016 May 17, 2013
You don't have any credibility or shame left do you, little teddy boy? You criticize the objectivity of ones sources (not the content) and then think you can come trotting your tripe from the Weekly Standard as if it's the holy grail of objective reporting.
The weekly standard, that's Rupert Murdoch, jerk. Point to something Media Matters has printed you don't think is true.'Cause I will bring more and more of the Rethug tea-baggger lies and you will have to continue blowing arteries, name calling and generally making a fool of yourself (except to your antiquated teabag buddies).
You're a joke; like one of those Gutfeld and Miller jokes, you know, mean, vicious, uninformed, retrograde and worse, not funny.(Remember, GOP has No Sense of Humor, no funny comedians and no humorists. Unless you count Ted Nugent, of course.
#119018 May 18, 2013
Oh, noes, joe - the WaPo:
TRACTION, joe! More TRACTION from YOUR 'fair and objective' MSM!!
And the NYTimes! Oh noes!! MORE TRACTION!!
The WSJ!! Treasury and the White House KNEW LAST JUNE the IRS was engaged in organized persecution of ideological and political opponents of the Messiah!
More TRACTION, joe!!
Gonna keep wacking off about FOX!! and "MURDOCH!! now, joe?- go another round of flinging more runny poo on yourself with lame an mindless defenses of the utterly indefensible? in outrageously corrupt and incompetent behavior by the Obama Mob?
Better get back on the line to the MediaMatters call center and get your talking points refreshed ... you're doing more damage to His Corrupt Incompetence now than helping.
But then again, you & they are hopeless - basic honesty, integrity, truth-telling, and honoring their oath of office are completely missing from their - and evidently your - characters.
#119019 May 18, 2013
When you actually post some substantive content other than your usual vacuous "MediaMatters reports (... some completely baseless and unsupported propaganda meme cut-n-pasted from HuffPoop or similar lib prog blogroll with no link to original source facts or supporting evidence whatsoever...), I'll be glad to address the "content."
