Hey joe,

Does it worry you that the DHS has gotten distracted from their bulk purchases of hollow point ammo to shoot at law abiding citizens to now focus on stocking up on bagpipes?

How's that sequester going???

Nah, doesn't really worry me. But then again, I'm busy enjoying a real life. And since progressives seem to be building their majorities I'm fairly confident we'll soon have the country back on track. Right wing hate wears pretty thin after a while.

All your paranoia seems to get you dolts is un-happiness, fear, and grumpy attitudes. Good luck with that.

Just out of curiosity... in your mind is there any middle ground between blind worship of the state and "right wing hate?"

I'm curious, is all.

No you're not. Just more disingenuous crap coming from a complete phony. I don't blindly worship the state (which is what, by the way?). Which state are we talking about; the state run by the Democrats or the state run by the Republicans? And right wing hate is real and dangerous and is fomenting huge amounts of right wing fear and violence in this country.

I'm a Rationalist, who thinks people as very similar and pretty un-political when left alone. But those same people can be persuaded of some incredibly idiotic ideas if they're frightened, angry or lied to. And the low educational levels in many of the so-called red states is also a seed bed of stupid ideas.

And if you have some recommendations on "middle ground" leaders you'd like to point out I'd be happy to hear who they might be and what they have to say. Any at all.'Cause the bottom line is after all our little verbal jousts are done you have to vote for someone who represents what you believe in. I'm open.

The only majority that's building in this nation under the present incompetent leadership in Washington, joe, is Americans who aren't working.

And that's not "hate" of any wing, joe - that's simple FACT. Facts don't wear thin, no matter how many lib progs in denial like yourself would rather dream of their socialist sugarplum fairies and click their rube slippers.

And it isn't paranoia when the DATA says they really are driving the nation into bankruptcy with profligate spending we have now way of paying for. That's reality.

Good to know you'll be just happy and snoozy as America is turned into Greece; real Americans are waking up to the lies and foolishness and are going to turn that impending train wreck around.

There's nothing wrong with exploding welfare rolls and high unemployment. If you right-wing haters would just pay higher taxes and turn your guns in, Obama could focus on printing more money to pay for it all.

I don't know how it will work... but joe is an economics expert. I'll let him explain...

And you're just too dense to see any other reason for the sluggish economy than Barack Obama. I don't care about your infantile blabbering about socialism (we live in a capitalist/socialist country, get over it) or "profligate spending", for you're just another right wing propagandist. No, my concern is the right wing fools and uninformed and uneducated people like yourself you elect to office. That's why I keep asking you mouth foamers to tell us who represents your ignorant positions. Who are you going to vote for? What do they have to say?

And if you want to continue to compare Greece (34th in world ranking GDP) with the US (1) than by all means keep proving how unsophisticated you are and what a fringe right wing hack you are. It's funny how you accuse me of being partisan. Your the most partisan sack on this forum.

Again, who are "real Americans" going to vote for to "turn that impending train wreck around."? Any names, recommendations, huh? I didn't think so.

So you DO have an explanation about how high unemployment, exploding welfare, higher taxes, and further printing dollars would be GOOD for the country?

Even though I might not understand... I'd encourage you to take a few minutes and post it... If only for the benefit of your fellow worshipers. Then they'll be armed with the info for when they encounter "extremists" and "haters" that confront them with facts.

Ohhh, poo baby. I guess you think you so cwever. You and teddy sound like thirteen year-old little girls. I don't care what YOU believe, I'd like to hear who your favorite politicians are, though. Still don't have any I see.

You realize that your foaming at the mouth doesn't mean anything, right? Another right wing hate point for discussion:

Fox News Radio reporter Todd Starnes criticized an email from a U.S. Army officer condemning anti-gay hate speech, suggesting that the email was a sign of "the end of days" and warning his audience that "your military is being turned against you."

In an April 9 article for Fox News Radio, Starnes reported that an email from Lt. Col. Jack Rich instructed subordinates to be on the lookout for behaviors that are "inconsistent with Army Values," including showing support for a number of "hate groups" operating in the U.S.

The email included a list of anti-gay groups like the Family Research Council (FRC) and American Family Association (AFA), stating:

The religious right in America has employed a variety of strategies in its efforts to beat back the increasingly confident gay rights movement. One of those has been defamation. Many of its leaders have engaged in the crudest type of name-calling, describing LGBT people as "perverts" with "filthy habits" who seek to snatch the children of straight parents and "convert" them to gay sex. They have disseminated disparaging "facts" about gays that are simply untrue assertions that are remarkably reminiscent of the way white intellectuals and scientists once wrote about the "bestial" black man and his supposedly threatening sexuality.

Rich's depiction of the hate speech stemming from the anti-gay movement is entirely accurate. Both FRC and AFA have been listed as hate groups by the Southern Poverty Law Center due to their long histories of defaming LGBT people, including peddling the myth allowing for openly gay soldiers would cause a spike in sexual assaults and HIV infections in the military.

Starnes - who acts as Fox News' resident mouthpiece for anti-gay hate groups - chose to depict the email as an assault on Christianity, interviewing several employees of FRC who, not surprisingly, condemned the email:

When 'ya got nuttin', lie:

Wall Street Journal columnist and editorial board member Kimberley Strassel MISREPRESENTED the win-loss record of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in court in order to suggest the Obama administration's environmental rulemaking is frequently illegal.

In an April 9 column, Strassel attempted to smear President Obama's nominee for EPA Administrator, the highly qualified and widely regarded Gina McCarthy, with the accusation that she shared blame for an alleged "embarrassing string of [legal] defeats" suffered by the Obama administration while serving as the senior EPA official in charge of regulating air pollution.

A National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) analysis of Clean Air Act litigation under both the Bush and Obama administrations clearly shows that the so-called embarrassing STRING OF "JUDICIAL SLAPDOWNS" WAS SUFFERED BY THE EPA UNDER THE FORMER, NOT THE LATTER. Furthermore, because the Obama EPA has been overwhelmingly successful in defending its enforcement of the Clean Air Act - whereas the Bush EPA was overwhelmingly unsuccessful in undermining this vital legislation - Administrator Lisa Jackson's promise for rulemaking that "stands up in court" was fulfilled, despite Strassel's claim otherwise.

Ultimately, Strassel's inaccurate characterization of the courts' treatment of EPA rulemaking under the Obama administration is just an excuse for the WSJ and the Republican Party to continue their attack on the president's attempts to combat climate change. In fact, the EPA has gone out of its way to ensure that action it takes to combat this national threat is fully consistent with its authority under the Clean Air Act, as opposed to the EPA under the Bush administration. McCarthy's reported commitment to scrupulously enforcing the text and intent of environmental legislation is part of the reason that praise for her previous air pollution work has come from both Republicans and Democrats, in addition to representatives from both industry and environmental interests.

I know we've been through this, and I know you'll never get it... But again, I am not interested in partisan left/right bickering. It is nonsense fed to you by the very people that fund BOTH sides. Remember the other day when we talked about how ONLY the rich are doing well under Bush/Obama? It's not by accident.

Okay, what's your plan? All I hear from you is how "enlightened" you are about the two political parties. But, info alert, that's what we've got, or haven't you noticed. We know how the "system" works but, less a revolution, how do you propose to change it?

And, once again, if you were truly objective, you'd notice that I don't tout the Democratic Party very much. I just observe and share the fact(s) that the Republicans have gone so far off the reservation in rational, objective thought that they have become dangerous; economically, socially and philosophically.

Your persistence in trying to get me to acknowledge your bi-partisanship-ness belies your insistence on ignoring the dangerously retrograde morphing of the Republican party into a clown act of ignorance worshiping, fearful, angry people who thrive on increasingly narrowing their world view rather than expanding it.

So, I agree with you that the "powers behind the throne", the oligarchy, are the ultimate threat, my more immediate concern is the increasingly deranged obeisance that the Republican/tea party is a working tool of said oligarchy. They, unlike the Democrats have made it clear that they are the enemy of a rational, educated, patriotic, optimistic, loving people.

Thus, I share the mountains of evidence of their hypocrisy and outright lies. You proclaim your bi-partisanship, I my well informed fear and warnings of the take-over of my fathers Republican Party by a so-called tea party full of fascistic tendencies and behavior. Why are you arguing with me? Are my postings un-true? Point out the errors. Who do you think represents you, politically?

The Republicans most certainly do not represent me. Nor do the Democrats. I don't know why that concept is so hard for you to grasp, is it because you can't fathom not being a follower?

The reason I'm more critical of the democrats these days is simple... they are the ones in power. They are the ones accomplishing an agenda that is against the founding principles of this country and the Constitution. The republicans? They are just a side-show that is ultimately going along with the democrats.

You don't tout the democrat party much? I should hope not. What would you tout? High unemployment? High gas prices? Almost a trillion dollars of wasted "stimulus" funds that did nothing other than pay his donors and supporters back for getting Obama elected? Running guns into Mexico to blame the 2nd Amendment? Using executive privilege to cover it up? Running weapons to terrorists in Benghazi? Lying to the American people about the attack that left 4 dead there? Irresponsible, unsustainable spending? Refusing to even consider cutting spending? Claiming that the rich need to pay more taxes... but raising taxes on the middle and lower classes instead? Killing innocents and children all over the world with drone strikes? Saying that the government can kill US citizens on US soil with a drone, no judge no jury? Signing into law a bill that states they can indefinitely detain citizens without pressing charges or due process? Ramming Obamacare through even though it will erode care and further bankrupt the country while insurance companies get richer? Having a peace prize in one hand and a kill list in the other? Need I go on?

The point is that we need to stop focusing on what they are saying, and start focusing on what they are doing.

I could write a long list like the one above about Bush's criminal acts... but he's in Texas painting pictures of Dogs. Obama and the democrats are RIGHT NOW in Washington bankrupting the country and trying to disarm law-abiding citizens.

I want people to wake up to the fact that both parties have been completely hijacked. The time to move on from them is now. Independent thought is our weapon. If you forget about what they say, and only look at what they do... you will wake up and support neither party.
