my older nephew was on the young side of potty training before the younger one was due to arrive, so he didbn't get trained until the older end of hte spectrum. between new baby and moving to a new country, there wasn't the time and attention available to get him trained at the averag age. they were really working on it when he started a preschool program just before he turned 3. but the program wasn't a good fit for him, and i htink he regressed. the new school got him back out of diapers and into big boy pants in a week. he still apparently springs a leak overnight, but during hte day he's good to go.<quoted text>
Most preschools won't allow non-potty-trained children to attend either. They have different DCFS certifications than daycares whose employees can handle diapering needs.
I don't know if it was good teacher or peer pressure that got him back on track, but amen and hallalujah to them.
