I agree with the previous posts here that most Aldi customers are Polish. I used to wonder why all the "dumb" jokes were aimed at the Polish. Between shopping at Aldi and always voting for democrats, I no longer wonder.

Too long a story to go into detail here. But I had an issue that needed to be taken up with the Corporate Office. Before I could even speak I was told by the main office in Batavia, to just take my business elsewhere and never call them again. Howz that for Customer Service?

After reading the comments here I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

If China has to raise their prices, I bet Aldi will have to do the same. Then the Polish will pay high prices for crappy groceries. lol

Not all of us are dumb. I shop at Aldi, but stay away from their food. Like their price on laundry detergent.

You're not as smart as you think you are. I guess you shop so often at Aldi, you don't even notice the garbage smell in there? That gets in their laundry detergent too.

Aldi should close down all their Chicago locations and reopen them in Poland. That way, you can all leave Chicago, so the democrats stop winning every election. Don't get me wrong, I've met a lot of nice people who are Polish. But all of you believe EVERYTHING the corrupt media says. Either wake up or get out!

This store should be boycotted. This corporate office obviously has some kind of "in" with the government giving them the freedom to make consumers sick.

Wow, this is scary. I have used the Aldi in Villa Park a few times, with no problems but wonder if I'm playing Russian Roulette. None of their stuff is name brand. I guess I was lucky I didn't get sick.

I walked into an Aldi I think in Harwood Heights last year. It smelled so bad, I just left, never to return to any of them since.

You're all dumb. Just the mere fact you shop at Aldi at all tells the tale. I won't even talk about politics here.

And people wonder why Ron Paul wanted to shut down most Gov agencies? I'd start with the FDA.

If Aldi ever advertised on TV like those prescription drug companies and their products, I wonder if they would have to list all the bad side effects of shopping here. The commercials would never end.

Lucky for those on welfare that Romney didn't win. He would have forced all those on food stamps to shop at Aldi as punishment for not voting for him.

I shop at Aldi's, and the food items are excellent and of the highest quality, the prices are very reasonable, the staff are friendly and very helpful. I speak with them every time I go there, and they do care about their customers. I also voted for Mitt Romney, so whomever made that comment is completely anal. Just because you're wise and know that Jewel and Dominick's overcharge the public, doesn't have any impact, whatsoever, on who you choose to vote for, what hogwash. I also did a comparative grocery shopping experiment between Aldi's and Walmart (two cheapest stores for groceries) for one of speeches for Critical Thinking (DeVry University). I received an "A" (was on the Dean's list with a 4.0 GPA), and every student in the class eagerly grabbed at the price comparison study handouts I had prepared for them. Do not be dissuaded from shopping here, do not be a sheeple. Think for yourselves and make your own decisions. Yes, they have offices in Batavia, Illinois, however they are actually a German corporation. Many of their fruit and vegetable items are non-GMO, there is a "QUALITY GUARANTEE" on ALL items they carry. The store managers are helpful, as is the corporate office, I wanted a walker for my mother. One store sold out, gave me the corporate number...They located it at another store, and shipped it to the store location closest to me at no charge. THEY CARE, ARE HELPFUL, AND COURTEOUS. Don't be a fool, make your OWN decisions. If you eat bad fruit, then why the hell didn't you check it before you ate it, you idiot...
