Don't have time for an argument. We're all entitled to our opinion. In my opinion Aldi sucks.

Interesting information on the ownership and the customer base. They are not publicly traded, not answerable to shareholders and couldn't give a rat's a*s about Topix.
I have respond to this. WTF is your point? I don't give a rat's ass about Topix either. I saw this thread and posted. You have a problem with that?

Easy to spot the phonies here. WKRP is a hired employee of Aldi. No regular customer would spend the time he does here. And, a blind man could spots Kelly's posts.

PEllen: You were always a big Kelly and Corporate backer, but I'm not sure now where you're at on all this now. Your conscious finally get the better of you? I think you know that Kelly and other regulars here are backing some real rock bottom corporations.

My personal input on Aldi is I never got sick, but their food tastes very bad. Even Walmart for just slightly more has a lot better quality and Dollar Stores will give you better prices on non food items. So I don't shop there anymore.

You can extrapolate what you like but please note the following points.

I post from a signed-in account. I have 12,000+ entries. If you come around the Chicago Forum, you will have seen my name and where I usually post.

Your post is probably the fairest expression of opinion I have seen here in a while: you haven't gotten sick but the food doesn't taste good to you and is of poor and comparatively lower quality to an objective base line: WalMart.

FWIW, anyone who has been on Chicago Forum for a while has tripped across the Ron/Kelly thing. You'd have had to be blind to miss it. I can't speak for others, but I don't care one way or the other.

LOL, I've read through a lot of the posts here and will say that you seem to be one of the fair and level headed people here.

As far as the Ron/Kelly thing goes I get the impression that those associated with Ron like to expose the less than fair large corporations while Kelly and His/Her group strongly back them.

Also from what I've read it appears the dispute with Aldi started from poor treatment from their Corporate Office in Illinois over a minor incident. Hopefully Trader Joe or whoever runs Aldi will teach this corporate office a lesson and fire the people responsible. A thread like this can't be helping business for Aldi. By now many thousands of people have read this thread and talked to their friends about it.

There's two kinds of people now. Sheep who will let bullies push them around and those who will stand up to these corporate bullies.
You know whom I'm rooting for and also bet that this Kelly will call me Ron. lol

Well hello. Same ol' Topix. LOL

I do home improvements now. Kelly did you ever move that big tree away from your home? I'd be glad to help.

What's the closest Aldi to you? You a regular there?
Still telling people there's another Kelly? LOL

Most large corporations are penny wise and dollar foolish. Is it any small wonder they need corporate welfare to survive?

I know big companies who have spent millions on high powered law firms just to stiff a little guy out of hundreds. The CEOs of all the Fortune 500 companies will join Hitler in Hell.

The Board of Health should close down the Aldi in Harwood Heights. That place stinks and is filthy beyond belief! Let me guess they of course have the authorities paid off like all the other corporate crooks.

You dolt. Did you ever stop to think I was exposing your scams long before you got involved with the Pasadena crowd. There is no Kelly you dummy, just me.
I remember you. You were the one who didn't even know where Dee Road was in Park Ridge nor where the train station was. You're pathetic Kelly, just like Aldi and all the other horrible companies you back.
Is Aldi one of your sponsors? A lot of good advertising on Topix does. Sears was your biggest sponsor for a long time. How are they doing now? LOL

You can do better than this Ron. I offered to meet you on many occasions in various places in DuPage County but you always found an excuse to chicken out. Instead you picked some mythical person in CA to vent your anger on. I exposed you, your scams and that idiotic CUACC for what they are as I have on this thread. Just remember Ron, I know what you look like and who you are. Maybe I'll run into you some day and introduce myself. Wouldn't that be fun?
What a total crock this is. Ron offered to meet you time and time again and you backed down. Steve offered to meet Kelly and she backed down. Claimed she was taping the conversation. You're probably one and the same person. Internet tough guys are about as real as time travel. Enjoy the fantasy coward. I knew Aldi's made people sick, but you're sick in the head Kelly.

Your lack of intelligence is mind boggling and hilarious. Kelly. All along you've been saying there's two of you and we had the wrong one. Now there's none??? ROTFLMGDMFAO

This isn't about you anyway. It's about a bargain basement grocery run by corporate clowns who don't care about their customers. If you were around in the 30s you would have been the great supporter of Hitler. You're probably a skinhead right now and a real sad sack albeit amusing.

You've lost it. Hitler? I'm glad you're mother isn't here to see what you've turned into. It would crush her. She shopped at Aldi you know.
LOL, Kelly...you're turning into a comedian your old age? A bad one.
How do people bashing a substandard food chain compare to Hitler?

I don't know about gay but the last two posters are insane. xkcd for believing a word the media says and Adolf for using a name like that to promote his cause. 31% rise in profits could be all increased business from Nazis?
