yes boys and girls even liberal democrats can only kick the financial can so far down the road, but then at some point the bills have got to be paid.
but alas and alack the corrupt union pension plan given to greedy union members in return for greedy union members votes use to keep corrupt democrats in power all them years was never fully funded. shows you just how dumb unions really are, they believe democrats lies and promises? ha ha ha ha ha
So back to the facts here, there is no money honey to pay off the corrupt greedy unions pension promises. and with no bread fred da city will have to go into bankruptcy court hat in hand and beg for help.
but the county state or feds don't got no money honey to bail out the corrupt democrats so it off to court and hopefully jail for the democrats,
don't you love it when the high and mighty get theirs? the only real problem here is. the city is in ruins financially , morally and physically.
no much worth saving on the south side of this once proud great city.
should just turn the south side into the large parking lot next to the lake.
let folks park for free so we don't end up with more silly unfunded promises to greedy union parking attendants or greedy cops writing parking tickets for expired meters etc.

First Detroit, now Chicago, next will be some liberal stronghold in Cali. And finally it will come to the US itself. We are going in the same direction of most of the large past societies like Rome, Constantinople, etc. It was government and the cost of it that has always been the problem.
Good intentions always start out well, but when you are up to your azz in alligators, its hard to remember your original intention was to drain the swamp.

the greedy union morons never studied economics.
there is an axiom in economic which states
" what you tax you get less of and what you subsidize you get more of"
Now look around Chicago and the state, see lots of jobs? no they have been driven out of city and state by over taxation over regulation and union bully tactics.
now see all those welfare queens illegal immigrants getting government help?
the more you give them the more they want'
so Chicago and America has a choice to make do we want more jobs or more welfare?.
Hint here you can earn a lot more in a real job and have more choices if you work.
on welfare you have no choices only what the master gives ya.

Low information voters get exactly what they deserve. Maybe they will learn that someone has to pay for all the crap DEMOCRATS promise. The basis of this problem lies within the DEMOCRATIC voter who keeps re-electing the same people over and over. IL has some of the longest tenured politicians and they all happen to be DEMOCRATS.
Makes it blatantly obvious how the DEMOCRAT party survives on the ignorance of the low information voter promises. Funny how IL parallels the entire US (with bo in charge). Its only taken an IL DEMOCRAT 6 years to bring the US to its knees.
