The Liberty Brothers Interview: Colonel Kratos, AZ State Militia James White

NorthWest Liberty News July 17th, 2014

The Second Amendment to the US Constitution reads as follows:

A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The 2nd Amendment is pretty clear on our right to keep and bear arms. However, the first part of the amendment contains the word militia, which can be somewhat nebulous to those who are products of public school. As far as I can surmise, the militia consists of every American not serving in the military or police, and certain public officials.

In Arizona, some citizens have peeled themselves off of the couch and actually created a bona-fide, state-sponsored militia. This is not some rag-tag group, but a well-organized, motivated and legitimate organization. Recently, the AZ State Militia has made headlines for their presence in Oracle, AZ. To recap the Oracle situation, click here.

As illegal immigrants continue to flood through our porous border, it is apparent that the citizens of each individual state will need to muster on their own to protect their communities, and to secure the future of their posterity. One of the best ways to do this is to form a State Sponsored Militia. In the interview below, The Liberty Brothers speak to Colonel Kratos of the Arizona State Militia. Also joining us is Robert Casillas, a former marine and also a member of the ASM.
