Chicago man charged for rash of carjackings, faces potential life in prison
A Chicago man potentially faces up to life in prison on new federal charges stemming from a rash of carjackings on the same day last month that began on the West Side and ended with the shooting of an elderly man in the Gold Coast neighborhood. An 11-count indictment made public Friday charged Earrious Moore with two carjackings - including one vehicle taken at gunpoint from an off-duty Chicago police officer - as well as three attempted carjackings.

Fellow tried to carjack my grandma once back in the 1960s. She got up to about 65 mph, reached into the pocket on the car door, took out her .45 and said, "Get out!"
They never did figure out how that guy ended up on the roadside.
