In 1820, Earth began its recovery from the Little Ice Age. This natural warming has continued with superimposed ocean cycles to today. Glaciers began to shorten in 1820, about 140 years before humans began to emit significant CO2.

Humans caused only 3 percent of the CO2 increase since 1958. Nature caused 97 percent. Even if we stopped all human CO2 emissions, we would have no effect on climate.
Natural CO2 emissions and absorptions are each 40 times human emissions, and the small difference determines whether CO2 rises or falls.

Nature easily compensates for human emissions. Claims that human CO2 emissions have “tipped” some “natural balance” is a doctrine of eco-religion but has no basis in physics.

Yet few will listen to the village idiot no matter his message and you fit that description. If he is right, it is only by accident and not worth the time to sort the garbage for any gems of wisdom.

More Arctic ice now than before? Of course, and more to come this Winter. Man made catastrophic climate disruption is pseudoscience.
Not. Well within year to year variability and still on the decline

<quoted text>Why all the excuses? Al Gore forecasted no more Summer Arctic ice by now and he's wrong again.
Al Gore made no predictions. All he did was report what the SCIENTISTS said in a documentary.

The scientists still say that the summer arctic will be ice free somewhere between 2015 and 2030. Hard to pin down a specific year since there is some variability from year to year. However, the current 'ice cover' is somewhat misleading since it is well understood to be lower if volume yet more distributed.'ice covered' means 15% ice, not frozen solid.

Just trying to educate you a little. I know you will resist with all your ignorance.

Question.
In the history of science has their ever been a group that has changed the name of their cause as many times as the warmies. Global warming.Global climate change. Global climate disruption. What's next.
The "?" symbol is at the lower right and you need to press the "shift" key to get it. I mention this because you appear to be asking questions but don't know how to use a keyboard.

As science exposes new information, the old names can remain, be modified, or be discarded. Science is willing to change, unlike deniers, who are like old people, stuck in their ways.

You must surely suspect some nefarious liberal conspiracy in the physics world, then, since the terminology and evidence for the smallest particle of matter has changed so much since Democritus in 460 BC. The smallest particles started out being called atoms, then those sneaky scientists started talking about electrons and protons and neutrons being smaller, then they came up with more seemingly suspicious particles called nucleons and photons and quarks and gluons and muons and neutrinos and charms and mesons and on and on and on. Those damn physicists are definitely up to no good, changing these names and sizes all the time!

Science isn't wrong, it's expanding.

Wrong: Al Gore Predicted Arctic Summer Ice Could Disappear In 2013

A 2007 prediction that summer in the North Pole could be “ice-free by 2013” that was cited by former Vice President Al Gore in his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech has proven to be off… by 920,000 square miles.

EXPOSED: This is the denier beef, LOL.

Politicians such as Al Gore have often insisted that climate science is ‘settled’ and have accused those who question their forecasts of being climate change ‘deniers’.

Deniers are engaged in disruption of expected flow of science, alas. Of course, climate science is settled on AGW. As to forecasting, that's trial-and-error engineering of sort.

Why the denier darling Dr Curry never forecasts about the Arctic? She only second guesses afterwards when she has probably the longest track on the Arctic since her younger years, huh?

Here you will find listings of papers containing the phrase "climate change" going back to 1955:

http://www.skepticalscience.com/climate-chang...

Again, it was Republican Frank Luntz who advised his consultees to use the phrase "climate change" because it sounds less serious than the phrase "global warming". He dispensed that advice during the first Bush's administration, about the same time (1988) that the Intergovernmental Panel on CLIMATE CHANGE was formed.

Global climate disruption is just a more clarifying label for what we are in for with CLIMATE CHANGE brought on by GLOBAL WARMING.

I wonder if you have enough sense to feel like the fool that you are, now that you've been SCHOOLED about the history of the use of the phrase "CLIMATE CHANGE".

Ice melt may not be the worst effect people of the future will contend with. Pesticides have been overly used and the insects which pollinate are going extinct. Municipal water sources are being subjected to pesticide runoff as well as pharmaceuticals from sewage plants. A lot more problems than just global warming exists.

Ha ha just shows that politics has more influence than real science. And the topic is global warming.

Yes, that is all true and we need to become aware of environmental concerns. Fertilizer runoff is also a concern. Lawn farmers in cities are responsible for pollution of the water from storm sewers. There is usually a trade off to technological solutions to food production. We must weigh the adverse effects along with the benefits. Also lawn farmers in cities are increasingly responsible for pollution of the water from storm sewers that runs into our streams.

That said, we cannot neglect one problem because another may seem more urgent. The problem is that there is no market force to control these environmental concerns. These factors must be enforced by public regulation. Public education of these concerns is vital. Unfortunately the vested interests have the ear of the law makers through lobbiests and campaign dowry's.
