As reported by Principia Scientific International (PSI), Martin Mlynczak and his colleagues over at NASA tracked infrared emissions from the earth's upper atmosphere during and following a recent solar storm that took place between March 8-10. What they found was that the vast majority of energy released from the sun during this immense coronal mass ejection (CME) was reflected back up into space rather than deposited into earth's lower atmosphere.

The result was an overall cooling effect that completely contradicts claims made by NASA's own climatology division that greenhouse gases are a cause of global warming. As illustrated by data collected using Sounding of the Atmosphere using Broadband Emission Radiometry (SABER), both carbon dioxide (CO2) and nitric oxide (NO), which are abundant in the earth's upper atmosphere, greenhouse gases reflect heating energy rather than absorb it.

"Carbon dioxide and nitric oxide are natural thermostats," says James Russell from Hampton University, who was one of the lead investigators for the groundbreaking SABER study. "When the upper atmosphere (or 'thermosphere') heats up, these molecules try as hard as they can to shed that heat back into space."

According to the data, up to 95 percent of solar radiation is literally bounced back into space by both CO2 and NO in the upper atmosphere. Without these necessary elements, in other words, the earth would be capable of absorbing potentially devastating amounts of solar energy that would truly melt the polar ice caps and destroy the planet.

"The shock revelation starkly contradicts the core proposition of the so-called greenhouse gas theory which claims that more CO2 means more warming for our planet," write H. Schreuder and J. O'Sullivan for PSI. "[T]his compelling new NASA data disproves that notion and is a huge embarrassment for NASA's chief climatologist, Dr. James Hansen and his team over at NASA's GISS."

Take that back.

There is a vast difference between climate changing over 10's of thousands of years condensed into a couple of hundred years. That's another lil fact you deniers constantly overlook.

And the single most important action that you are taking to combat global warming is ..... what exactly?

Bicycling to work and typing on a wind powered PC?

Hmm, Perhaps you did not see what happened to Atlanta when a little ice and snow, brought the city to its knees. Sandy of the east coast, had they not listened to the science of climatology Is it not logical to use the science and technology to the best of our ability, to better prepare for change. Some seem to forget, that the time table of change is not a perfect science. That perhaps the extreme change will happen a hundred or more yrs away. But, from the data they do have, it seems to conclude that change is happening faster.Perhaps we are and have been still in a meltdown stage of the last ice age.Perhaps,it is a polar flip. There are many variables to the Earths evolution, which it too seems to evolve around a cycle of constant change.Add in mankind's manipulation of the environment for our self interests, and its understandable, that the exact causes are not quite known. But changing it is, so why not just use the very best of our combined knowledge to understand , what exactly is going on.Either way. The fact some do not accept NASAs research as valid, is a bit alarming. The people have spent billions over the yrs , to have the science and infrastructure for public service, of exploration and technology, to provide better understanding of our global environments..If there is self interest tainting the science of a public service, then where is the demand for the truth, and change in policy. Because it seems to me, people come running pretty quick to government when , natural disasters do happen. Again, as critical thinkers, we should not always wait, until things are critical before we think Take care, and thanks for all the fish.,

scientists haven't agreed on anything except speculation......especially where grant money is concerned. i haven't seen a scientist say anything more than might or may!!

i haven't seen a scientist stick his neck out showing what man made co2 emission reductions will do in altering climate!!
....you demand that isolated floods in the pacific northwest are proof.... "of" theory.
.... whoring....
"ratdownthemiddle", "middleofthedownwronggull y" fears, rightly, that its demands that an isolated whore visit it in the down wrong gully, will go unheeded.

With thousands of evidences of changing AGW climate pouring onto people of Earth, only people in the down wrong gully stonewall, taking each evidence individually & saying they don't mean "nothin', no how".

Yet, increasing Antarctic sea ice is toted by touched touchy toxic topix AGW deniers as global cooling. However, in 2002 & reconfirmed in 2005, AGW science predicted Antarctic sea ice increase. In truth "ratdownthemiddle", "middleofthedownwronggull y" has no science, chemistry, astronomy, physics, algebra or pre-calc in its poorly (or non-) earned hi skule DEE-plooomaa.

Yeah, AGW climate IS changing around the world, even in my own back yard. I have swamped neighbor's barns due to flooding, so wet hay wouldn't catch fire, tho those barns' contents had never flooded before. I've watched a church member's home almost taken away in a creek flow....... altho previously, there were no creeks within 400 yards.

Skykomish, WA is in the mountains & 62 miles north of Mt. Rainier, which has had the most snow in the world at over 83 feet of total yearly snowfall. Now tho, Mt. Baker, 76 miles north of Skykomish, has the world yearly total snow fall at ~87 feet.

During Spring floods, the rivers often have water flow rates, 100+ times more than summer time flow rates. That may not seem like much to you, since many rivers are summer dry in arid regions. But our rivers flow year round.
Saying that tho, it does appear that man-made global warming is changing precipitation patterns, even with our abundant rain fall. Presently, we get very slightly more rainfall(including snowfall) during the winter(tho sometimes longer periods without rain are occurring) & our summertimes are getting more arid.

Watching the weather radar, the "pineapple express" stabilized, pointing directly at our region of the Cascade mountains & focused on a particular ridge. After the first day, a 2 square kilometer slope had been hit by 35inches of rain. Going to bed & waking the next morning, the radar surprisingly showed the "pineapple express" still focused on that ridge, now at 55 inches. By days end, 75 inches had fallen on that one slope. Day three, the "pineapple express" was still focused & saw 110 inches by day's end. On the fourth day, the "pineapple express" started shifting, but that slope had taken 133 inches of rain.
