The market is all about freedom.......
The market freely sends people into poverty. The uncontrolled market freely sends lots of people into poverty. The uncontrolled market, causing depressions, freely sends millions into poverty. The market was a euro & transplanted euro device. Oh, now I see!

"Don't worry- Co2 concentration would have to be 50 times what it is today to cause health problems."
CO2 has a range of health effects- from slight drowsiness and headaches to more serious issues.
1,000,000 ppm of a gas = 100 % concentration of the gas, and 10,000 ppm of a gas in air = a 1% concentration.
At 1% concentration of carbon dioxide CO2 (10,000 parts per million or ppm) and under continuous exposure at that level, such as in an auditorium filled with occupants and poor fresh air ventilation, some occupants are likely to feel drowsy.
The concentration of carbon dioxide must be over about 2%(20,000 ppm) before most people are aware of its presence unless the odor of an associated material (auto exhaust or fermenting yeast, for instance) is present at lower concentrations.
Above 2%, carbon dioxide may cause a feeling of heaviness in the chest and/or more frequent and deeper respirations.
If exposure continues at that level for several hours, minimal "acidosis" (an acid condition of the blood) may occur but more frequently is absent.
Breathing rate doubles at 3% CO2 and is four times the normal rate at 5% CO2.
Toxic levels of carbon dioxide: at levels above 5%, concentration CO2 is directly toxic.[At lower levels we may be seeing effects of a reduction in the relative amount of oxygen rather than direct toxicity of CO2.]
http://inspectapedia.com/hazmat/CO2gashaz.htm
250 - 350 ppm background (normal) outdoor air level
350- 1,000 ppm - typical level found in occupied spaces with good air exchange.
1,000 2,000 ppm - level associated with complaints of drowsiness and poor air.
2,000 5,000 ppm level associated with headaches, sleepiness, and stagnant, stale, stuffy air. Poor concentration, loss of attention, increased heart rate and slight nausea may also be present.
>5,000 ppm this indicates unusual air conditions where high levels of other gases could also be present. Toxicity or oxygen deprivation could occur. This is the permissible exposure limit for daily workplace exposures.
>40,000 ppm - this level is immediately harmful due to oxygen deprivation.

Why does the second source have lower numbers?

Well, maybe because it's from four years after the first one and the understanding of effects has changed?

The fact remains that the chemical effects of CO2 in the blood at 5000ppm are very different to the physical effects of CO2 in the atmosphere at 500ppm, and not comparable.

The Obama administration said Friday it will lose $139 million on a loan to struggling electric car maker Fisker Automotive Inc. after selling part of the loan to a private investor that immediately took the company into bankruptcy.

transplanted euros have interpreted Pres. Kennedy's "assure the survival and the success of liberty" as referring to U.S. transplanted euros only. "support any friend" was often dictators, who suppressed their own people. "oppose any foe" was often interpreted as "support foes", till the foe kicked U.S. transplanted euro influence out of their country.

Or, in the case of Dred Scott as decided by the US Supreme Court; the government ensures the return of an escaped slave to slavery. Some watch out there; the courts didn't end slavery, the 13th Amendment ended it.

Everybody with health insurance knows Obamacare is going to cancel their insurance policy, unless they are one of the very few who got it from the exchange. Healthcare.gov is putting more people on Medicaid than buying insurance. This whole boondoggle is based on the idea healthy young Americans will join up, to underwrite the old and infirm, but they are avoiding Obamacare in droves.

Don't follow current events? "A bitterly divided Senate voted Thursday to eliminate filibusters for most presidential nominees, a momentous and politically risky step that limits the ability of Republicans to block President Barack Obama's choices for executive-branch and most judicial posts.

The change gives Mr. Obama more flexibility to shape the federal judiciary and to staff his administration for the remaining years of his presidency. But it could hand more power to Republicans if the GOP should win the White House and control of the Senate."

Two months ago, Ted Cruz speaking for delaying Obamacare was a terrorist, now Al Franken agrees with delaying the individual mandate until after the election.

Don't worry, Obama's got a long term plan. And it won't be pretty.

Medicare is a popular effective program. We needed to use it as a template for a national health insurance program. But that will never happen because of the hold the insurance industry has on the Congress. What we have is the biggest insurance scam imaginable. We have this because, knowing that healthcare was in shambles and changes were needed, Congress was unable to do change the insurance based health industry because of the impediments that the Republicans placed before it.

All one needs to do is to study the health care programs in the rest of the industrialized countries in the world to understand this. Unfortunately the politicians are more interested in their war chests and reelection than they are in doing their jobs.

BTW, the Fed had to pour money into the economy to avoid the black days that were upon us. At least our economy is going in the opposite direction that it was when President Obama took office.

I am afraid that the obstructionist folks in Congress will use any controversy, real or imagined, to consolidate their perceived power. This is very apparent in the almost unilateral rejection of science, especially global warming.

The wonderfully beautiful national dreams of Pres. Kennedy & his means to present them, show with diamond crystal clarity, the following failures of transplanted euros, that transplanted euros weren't inclusive(but exclusive), weren't global(but white-colored only), fearfully used fearful technology, instead of redeeming themselves with redeeming technology, & finally, transplanted euros actually didn't believe the dreams of America. transplanted euros continued the ways of their fathers, euros, with pointed guns & pointed pens to take what they wanted.
