Yegads... there is no depth to your denial.
Al Gore is a global warming hypocrite.
Get past that then we'll hit some advanced stuff.
The climate is warming. CO2 is a GHG. Burning fossil fuels increases the CO2 in the atmosphere. Those are facts. Try discussing the facts. Whining about Al Gore is not going to change then.

When you grow up and admit Al Gore is a global warming hypocrite, you'll demonstrate your capacity for advanced thought.

I'll keep on asking as long as you keep on avoiding the issue.

And yet again you demonstrate your lack of critical thinking.

Al Gore is the figurehead of the global warming movement, but he's a hypocrite about the practices he espouses on global warming.

Why would anyone have a serious discussion with you as you are incapable of admitting this fact?

The climate is warming. CO2 is a GHG. Human life increases the CO2 in the atmosphere. Those are facts.

By the way, Vice President Al Gore is a good example of the political aspect of global warming and climate change mitigation. Populism, corruption and cronyism rule climate policy.

A gallon of train fuel sends one ton of cargo 500mile(ships, a bit further), while trucks use 3.7 gallons over the same distance. Also, deaths/ton of cargo in ascending order are ships, trains, trucks. Next time, ship it by train. Have untimely overseas shipments sent by sea mail, & save lots of money.

Ir was the Republicans that "fixed" the Affordable Heath Care Act. As a matter of fact the result was almost identical to their proposals during the Clinton Administration. What we need is a single payer system like almost all of the industrialized nations have. Instead, what we got was the greatest insurance scam of the century.

Everyone wanted to improve upon the "broken" system that we have. However, the Republicans were more interested in political gain than they were in fixing anything. This is also apparent in their approach to global warming. Political gain and war chests over sound science.

Not one single Republican, in the House or in the Senate, voted for the Affordable Care Act. The greatest insurance scam of all time is called Obamacare.

Senator Crus warned us, we want to delay, defund and repeal Obamacare. 39 Democrats signed on to the House resolution to delay Obamacare's individual mandate if you like the insurance you have. That's bipartisanship.

Don't you think it's odd that every western, communist, dictatorship country around the world has some form of health care built into their economy. Obviously the more successful ones have full on health care for all. Yet a bunch of tea baggers and totally misguided republicans think they are right and the rest of the world is WRONG! What gives them this special foresight that say a well educated German, or any European for that matter doesn't have. It's the same for global warming, they think the rest of the world is nuts and it's just them that can see the light. Yet at the same time can't see the comparison when they are called American Taliban.

Where would you limit the Federal government's involvement in your life? Should they dictate the quality of children's shoes? What if inferior children's shoes are being sold to unsuspecting parents? What if the shoes fall apart quickly or injure the foot of the child? Should the Bureau of Childrens' Shoes step in? Or would you say that is an area that government should play no role.

This is EXACTLY what I mean, what you don't realise the government is involved in your life everyday. Without it you would not survive unless of course you lived in the wilderness and hunt game. But for the rest of the sane people who live in the cities and rely on services they NEED the government to be involved in their life. From what medicines are safe to clean water to drink.
Do you think the country becomes great because of this blind perception of what is interference and what is not. The government is monitoring your phone, your net and where you go at night if they choose to do so. But no country on Earth has ever become powerful because of a bunch of individuals running around doing as they please. It becomes great because COLLECTIVELY the country is powerful by everyone producing and paying taxes this pays for the military to be strong etc etc etc. It totally amazes me that you try and defend a position on government policy on the basis of freedom. It's hypocrisy in the extreme when you accept all other aspects of government in your life. A total no brainer!

All states have government, as well as most local jurisdictions. The problem is the federal government. It's too big, too far reaching and too involved in people's lives.

Big government advocates such as yourself interpret any challenge to the size of the federal government with hysterics. Why do you insist on your well being being handed over to people living thousands of miles from you? Have you no faith in your local, county, and state governments? Are they not better equipped to meet local needs.

As well demonstrated with the differences between Romneycare and Obamacare, a one-size-fits-all plan doesn't work, but one crafted to the individual needs of a state works better.

Is Romneycare perfect? Hardly. Is it better for the people of Massachusetts than Obamacare is better for the people of the country?

Yup.

The United States is great because it Constitutionally limits the role of government.

btw, you're hardly one to criticize on "hypocrisy".

Remember Al Gore?

I have one question, then. Why haven't the States fixed it then?
Our Constitution makes possible a Republic where the will of the people can formulate their own rules and restrictions. "Big Government" is the clarion call of the malcontents and the ignorant. We are the government. It is obvious that the market cannot "fix" the health care dilemma. It is what created it in the first place. It is also apparent that the market will not solve our energy problem.

Where would we be if there had been no public efforts? What about the space program to name just one. The public good from this alone is enormous. Bridges, roads, sewage systems, water projects, public education, dams, and many more that the private sector would not invest in because the initial investment was either too great or the returns too slow to materialize. It is not socialism, it is just good sense.

The Tea Party has some good ideas. They just need to figure out what is beneficial and what is emotional claptrap. Instead of dismantling the government, they need to learn how to fix it. I am afraid that neither National Party has the desire not the wisdom to bring us forwards. Most are seemingly more interested in getting re-elected and building their war chests than in doing what is best for the country. It is not our government that is at fault, it is the people that we have elected.
