Below is a statement concerning the treason of the Republican Party, teabaggers, and Koch brothers.
The link accompanying leads to a petition you can sign urging their arrest.

<><><>< ><><><> <><><>< ><>

While Republicans constantly invoke our nation's founders, they and a large number of individuals and organizations who support them, are in violation of one of our founders' earliest proscriptions: Seditious Conspiracy, made illegal through The Sedition Act of 1798.

Seditious Conspiracy as it pertains to the current shutdown of the United States federal government is defined in 18 USC 2384 of the Criminal Code as:

"[T]wo or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspir[ing] to ... by force ... prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States."

The Code further defines the punishment:

"[T]hey shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both."

If it looks like treason to you, sign the petition.

I believe the Sedition Act of 1798 expired in 1801.

An amendment to the Espionage Act of 1917, the Sedition Act of 1918 made it a felony (1) to convey false statements interfering with American war efforts; (2) to willfully employ "disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language" about the U.S. form of government, the Constitution, the flag, or U.S. military or naval forces; (3) to urge the curtailed production of necessary war materials; or (4) to advocate, teach, defend, or suggest the doing of any such acts. Violations were punishable by fine, imprisonment, or both. The law was aimed at curbing political dissent expressed by socialists, anarchists, pacifists, and certain labor leaders.

The U.S. Supreme Court upheld the Sedition Act of 1918 over free speech objections made by civil libertarians. However, in a famous dissenting opinion that shaped First Amendment law for the rest of the twentieth century, Associate Justice oliver wendell holmes jr. encouraged courts to closely scrutinize prosecutions under the Sedition Act to make sure that only those individuals who created a Clear and Present Danger of immediate criminal activity were convicted (Abrams v. United States, 250 U.S. 616, 1180, 40 S. Ct. 17, 63 L. Ed. 1173 [1919]).

The Sedition Act of 1918 was repealed on December 13, 1920

However, "[T]wo or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspir[ing] to ... by force ... prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States." defines the Republican Party today.

What about the rest of the world outside the USA? No Almanac.. LOL.
I do believe the Almanac is quite accurate. Funny thing is I never saw an Almanac without at least one article about vinegar.

Technically doesn't mean literally.
You and other teabaggers give the Prez far more power than he actually exercises. You think he has a list in the Oval Office and he went down it, "I'm closing this, this, and this, and leaving this, this, and this open." What an idiot.
I'll bet you were raising hell about Obama raising the price of gasoline earlier this year. So now he's lowered it to $2.99 around here, right?
The government chugs along on its own, and I'm sure there is a list somewhere of what operates or doesn't during a shutdown. The President is one-third of the government, not necessarily the final arbiter.
If he issues any executive orders, you'll be screaming "Dictator!"
Obama's had almost five years to come for your guns. He hasn't come for them yet.

Obama's had almost five years to ruin the country with his African socialism. The US economy has only been getting stronger.

Obama's had almost five years to surrender to the terrorists because he's weak. Yet bin Laden and a few others moulder in their graves.

Now, after five years, Obama has finally succeeded in shutting down the government. No. Wait. That's just another lie/mistake of yours, like the dozens of others.

Teabaggers and Republicunts shut down the government. They've wanted to see the President gone; by ballots, or bullets,or bills of impeachment. They are traitors. You must be one, too.

Didn't see that comma, idiot? As in "family, movies, and theatre"?

Nope, learned my perversions all by myself. Family had nothing to do with it; movies, maybe.

I don't participate in anal sex, but if I did, it would be more an exercise in power and dominance than sex.

Right now, I need to clean my guns more than bear them.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have to disagree with you on one factual point here, caveman. Osama bin Ladin is not "mouldering in his grave." The Navy SEALs fed his mangy carcass to the sharks in the Indian Ocean.
