<quoted text>You need to review the past posts. You are the one who called the sun a reaction, dummy.
You are losing your little mind.
Yes, and provided a link to a University of Cornell web site on the subject. Fusion is a nuclear reaction, just like fission. Both produce energy in the process which in the sun's case involves radation at various wavelenghts.

Looks like you might of lost your little mind a while ago. I sure it found a nice loving home with someone who truely appreciate it. Who knows, it might be me.

Also I notice while you claim I am wrong you have yet to say what is happening with the sun. How does it produce light and heat the way it does if I am wrong. Funny, you can claim I am wrong and yet are unwilling to tell everyone what is happening with the sun. A object man has studied for centuries.

But 2012 was the hottest year ever recorded on the lower US. Is that a mistake?
According to NOAA. Funny thing is the NWS is the one who keeps such records and funny thing is they are not saying one way or another.

One in your position should take your own advice. Better to have a mini mind than none at all as you so well display.

The concept relies on the ASSumption that the environment of a planet can be altered through artificial means. In addition, the feasibility of creating a planetary biosphere is UNdetermined. There are several proposed methods, some of which present prohibitive economic and natural resource costs, and others which may be currently technologically achievable.
I was using the term loosely. The Earth is it's early stages depended upon life, microorganisms, to convert the atmosphere so that it could support life as we know it. These organisms converted CO2 to O2 and organic carbon. The idea is, yes organisms have had a profound effect upon the composition of the atmosphere. Yes, life can change the atmosphere. It has happened before.

How do the conditions 100,000,000 years ago apply today? Do you think it would be desirable for the ocean to rise to those heights once again today? The last ice age was about 14,000 years ago. What caused the climate changes in the past? Atmospheric composition such as concentration of CO2 and CH4, changes is orbit of the Earth (Milankovitch cycles), motion of techtonic plates, solar output, impact of large meteorites, eruptions of super volcanoes. Exactly what is causing the changes today? If you do not know, it would be instructive to rely upon those who have studied those conditions. The Earth is warming. The increasing concentration of atmospheric CO2 from the burning of fossil fuels is responsible for much of the current warming. 2012 was the warmest year ever recorded in the lower USA.
Sheepdip!! There is no man made warming. It is a natural cycle that we can no more control then the number of stars in the sky.

we can only hope 'flack', that this kind of outbreak of common sense becomes pandemic among us. our children can believe in fairy tales but depend on the sanity of their parents to point out the difference between fantasy and reality.

Phantom? Nothing phantom about it. The planet gets hot then it cools down. Ice age/warming. Call it a long term winter/summer cycle. You do know that time is a man made phenomenon right. Terra has it's own time cycle.

If you took the 14.5 billion years the planet has been around and condensed it into 24 hours man would be in the last 2 seconds.
