Another menace thankfully removed from the streets. Hopefully the IRS is waiting to press charges on income tax evasion since he most likely failed to report "at least $1.5m" in income.

Hasta la vista.

What goes around comes around. You usually just don't get to see it. He treated his employees and others in a HORRIBLE manner unless you were one of his favorites.

Even if you were one of is favorites, he could turn on you quickly if you didn't obey his every command and continue to kiss his a**.

I unfortunately worked for this guy and he is one of the biggest a-holes I have ever met. He still owes me thousands of dollars from pay I never received after leaving his company. It looks like some inmates will be taking it out on his backside for me while he is in the slammer. Good riddance you POS!!! and don't forget to take some lubricant with you to the pokey!!!

Sentencing was postponed to December and they expect it to be put off again.

I wonder how long he can put it off. Is there a way to follow this case? There isn't anything current online.

It has already been put off too long if you ask me. I know it is on the government website somewhere. I'll try to find out where and post it here for you.

Don't forget that some of his favorite employees were just as bad as he was in the way they treated others; ocf course they got stabbed in the back when he no longer needed them. Some of them must have been in on it, falsifing records, knowingly sending things to him, across state lines, etc; maybe he is filling the Feds in on them so that they can get what they deserve as well. What other possible justification could there be to postpone his sentencing - he pled guilty to one charge on a plea deal. He got away with so much more than the anounts listed in the indictment.

He got to plea it out to save the court and tax payers money. He only admitted what he had to to make it all go away. There was enough evidence against him to hang him out to dry and when it became clear to Toberman he couldn't lie his way out he did what his lawyer told him to do and made a deal.

Let's not forget that his wife is a lawyer, so she probably has a hand in trying to drag this out as long as possible. She is just as guilty. I'm surprise that they have not gone after her, she was fully aware of what he was up to. Probably helped him plan it.

I'll bet they filed joint returns, and she certainly enjoyed the fruits of his illegal activity. Of course she also had to endure being married to him. His cheating ways weren't limited to money; he was cheating on her with at least one employee in Chicago, for example, when his wife was pregant, and here in Chicago waiting for him to come back to the hotel room. I am surprised she isn't trying hard to have him locked up. If he does finally land in the slammer, I wouldn't bet on her sticking around.
